Riri Williams is, without a doubt, the smartest girl her age. On the outside that might seem like a benefit, and to some extents it is, but it comes with a host of problems of its own. She's terribly introverted and awkward. She'd rather be alone than deal with crowds, and despite being a lowkey superhero, isn't really interested in the mystique the surrounds being one.

She is a very strange girl.

Timeline

Timeline:
2012: at eight years old, Riri is working part time at an open garage where she's given a great deal of platitude to explore her engineering aptitude. Building devices she claims will be useful to super heroes, she finds an outlet for herself. She's socially stunted by her intelligence and has trouble making or holding onto friendships. Despite that, she makes her one and only friend, Natalie Washington.
2015: Riri is given a scholarship to M.I.T. at age 10. She relocates to Boston as one of the youngest students ever enrolled on a full scholastic ride through the prestigious university.
2017: Riri's stepfather and sole friend Natalie are killed in a drive-by shooting during a family outing to a park in Chicago. Devastated, Riri withdraws further from the world and immerses herself in an effort to
2018: Riri is present during the first Avengers battle and manages to score several scraps from one of Tony Stark's Iron Man armor. With these, she could /really/ help people. Back in the garage she begins the laborious process of reverse engineering Starktech including the most vital component: An Arc reactor.
2019: Riri graduates MIT Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Robotics, and a minor in mechanical engineering. She gives the most awkward speech in the university's history, before transferring to ESU to get a Master's degree. The partially completed armor is relocated to NYC with her, and her single dorm room becomes her new lab.
Feb 2020: Riri's use of materials that 'nobody cared about and left lying around', unrecorded machining time, and dumpster diving finally catches up with her. The day after blowing the breaker to her dorm wing initializing the arc reactor, campus security is knocking on her door. Her escape doubles as the test flight of the Mark I.

Personality

Caring:
Riri has a strange way of showing it, but she actually cares a great deal about people... even if she has zero understanding of them. She's lost and loved and doesn't want anyone else to have to go through that. She might not be the person you want to carry on a conversation with, but she's definitely the person most would want in their corner. She'll fight until she can't... then create something to keep fighting.

Confident:
While it only extends as far as her technical ability, anyone would be hard pressed to tell Riri she's not one of the best engineers on the planet. M.I.T. at 10? That's unheard of. She didn't get there by pretending she's not absolutely brilliant. She /knows/ she is and she's not afraid to show it.

Introvert:
Riri is too intelligent for her own social well being. She struggles to make friends. She struggles to interact with people socially. She struggles in anything that doesn't revolve directly around creating or building. Worst of all, she's almost ALWAYS the smartest person in the room, which makes her sound like a know it all when she actually DOES try to communicate.

Powers

A Challenger Approaches:
Riri Williams is brilliant beyond words. Her IQ score is higher than most peoples Credit Score and while she suffers the social awkwardness that often comes along with it, she is by no means crippled. She is an engineer with only a smattering of peers and a programmer in the same league as some of the greatest in the world. The things she's able to do with machines could easily be considered science fiction by any logical standard, held back only by her age and the fact that she absolutely lacks the social acumen or life experiences to excel in the business world.

Skills

Engineer:
Riri was taking apart internal combustion engines at 5, never mind lego sets. Her parents got her an xbox 360 for her eighth birthday and she took it apart to use the spares to finish a hoverboard (that actually hovers). She understands machines in a way that defies logic. Where she's socially awkward around people because they make no sense to her, machines are elegant and do what she wants them to without requiring her to say anything. They don't care how intelligent she is, they bend to her desires because that's their purpose. She can, and has, build combustion engines out of stuff laying around in a garage. She can, and will, build an Iron Man armor out of parts found after a battle in New York.

Fighting:
Riri grew up in a rough neighborhood and had to defend herself quite a bit. She was a troublemaker in school, and the only people that really put up with her were some of the rougher kids, which means she's thrown hands on more than one occasion. She's had a bit more formal training since, taking self defense courses as a means to focus her mind, but she's no MMA fighter either.

Iron Pilot:
Riri isn't a pilot, per se, but she's received some training in aerial combat inside her Armor through Tony Stark's VR modules. She's not a seasoned combatant and has a ways to go in her aptitude, but she knows enough to use all of the intricate systems on the fly and fly in a three dimensional environment.

Programming:
Riri can program anything, literally anything. If she has the tools and the parts in front of her, there's almost nothing she couldn't program it to do. From simple heuristic intelligence to sophisticated algorithms designed to create pseudo artificial life, with the right application of her talent and the availability of resources, she could write any code, and where she can't actually make something work she generally knows why and it almost always comes down to: Because the technology isn't there yet.

Ironheart:
Ironheart Mk I: Reverse engineered from Tony Stark's Iron Man suits, this is Riri's attempt at her own version. Something to protect her, and let her protect others. Built in her dorm room from parts created in ESU's labs, it's nowhere near as sleek and polished as Starktech, due to an extremely limited budget and materials causing a corresponding loss of efficiency, but it's hers. Built in a dorm room, from a box of scraps.

Flight - Repulsor technology built into the hands and feet allow for sustained flight powered by the arc reactor built into the armors chest. Her suit doesn't go much past the sound barrier, and thus far she's not quite figured for the necessary power output required to break it, but it's still fast enough to get her into (and out of) trouble.

Sensors - The Ironheart Mk I has scanners and counter measures built into the security suite offering a wide range of tactical field data on the fly. Riri can access most common databases remotely, from police to fire/rescue. It offers a range of alternative visual spectrums with internal scanners providing detailed information even in complete darkness. It isn't the same as seeing in the dark, however.

Ironheart - Defense:
Riri's armors are smaller than Tony's by necessity and feature less purely combative capabilities. That said, they're still versatile. The prototype was clunky and barely able to flip a speeding car, which destroyed the chassis. The Mark I is a reconstruction of the Prototype, with more features and better materials. A much smaller and sleeker Mark II is in the works, but a total redesign from the ground up takes time...

Durability - Using materials given to her by Tony Stark, the Ironheart platform is designed to sustain damage, rather than inflict punishment. This isn't to say she can stand ground zero of a bomb, but small arms fireand low yield explosives do relatively minimal damage to the structure of the titanium/carbon steal alloy weave encapsulated in a projected magnetic field.

Life Support - The suit has a built in life support system in the event of critical failures on specialized missions beneath the ocean and, to a smaller degree, the vacuum of space. This is not indefinite, but suffice to send off beacons to track the wearer and preform rescue operations. It might not be the most comfortable stay, but she's more than likely to survive it with only minimal emotional and physical damage.

Ironheart - Offense:
The initial Ironheart model featured no weapons beyond the repulsor beams fired in concentrated bursts. Wwith the assistance of Tony Stark, future models will feature more utilitarian weaponry for specialized purposes. As always, Ironheart is not designed to be a purely offensive armor, it is defensive in nature. Below items represent the first model suit built in conjunction with Tony Stark.

Repulsor beams - The tried and true, the original, the repulsor beam. Usually used for flight, these palm and boot mounted beam emitters can be fired in concentrated bursts that provide both thermal energy and kinetic impact. These are the weapons that keep on giving, since it draws virtually no power from the reactor core.

EMP pulse - Capitalizing on Riri's increased mobility in the rebuilt Mark I, the suit comes with a miniaturized EMP burst device built into the right gauntlet. This is designed to specifically disable unshielded electronics in the midst of combat. This has limited use in covert operations due to the great deal of power projected outward which often reads on any shielded scanners or sensors as a mirco explosion with no concussive force.

Omni Blade - The Omni blade is a looped blade of repulsor energy projected out from the right forearm to act as a melee weapon and cutting tool. It can super heat most metals under sustained proximity. It is not for long engagements, however, due to the power necessary to bend the protonic beam into a blade form and can quickly drain power reserves if not used cautiously.

She built it because lightsabers are cool.

Micro-Missiles - Inspired by the sub-munitions of SI's Jericho missile system, These micro missiles are a point defense weapon built into the shoulder pauldrons of the armor. Capable of variable yield between a pure kinetic impact and a repulsor burst that hits like a guided missile, they provide a versatile multi-mode weapon capable of dealing with various threats. Unfortunately, missile capacity is limited, so these are saved for threats that absolutely require them.

Strength/Electroknucks - The suit is strong. Able to hurl objects back at opponents and throw punches with the weight of a freight train. Combined with electro-knuckles built into the gauntlet, she can pack one heck of a wallop when all other options are exhausted.

Stark:
This stat represents the relationship post play, with approval from Tony, and does not dictate pre-approval connection in the slightest.

Riri is a mind that mirrors Tony's and few people on Earth could understand precisely how precarious that mind could be than him. Riri represents a protege on par, if inexperienced, with his natural brilliance and he's taken her under his wing to shape that mind constructively.

Weaknesses

A Kid:
Riri is a teenager with all the teenager problems. She has to go to school, even if that school is a very specific program designed specifically for children of genius level intelligence. She has to concern herself with social anxieties, even if she'd rather be buried in a cracked open playstation than going to parties. Peer pressure is still a thing. She's prone to mood swings and odd flights of fancy. She might be brilliant, but she's still a kid.

Introvert:
Riri is an introvert of the highest caliber. She is shy around people and social situations, not because she's afraid of them, but because she doesn't get them. She doesn't express her feelings well and can come off as aloof in conversations, if not downright aggressive when pushed too much.

Just a Kid:
She's not super human and doesn't come stock with inherent abilities or powers. She can defend herself, but she couldn't do much against a super powered villain without her armor or other gadgets. She can be hurt. She can be killed. She can cry and feel emotional pain. Being the smartest teenager on the planet doesn't make her immune to black eyes or PTSD.
