Profile
Roxxi is a bit of a vagabond at the moment, having run away from her last group home. She lives as much by happenstance as she does by wits. For the moment she travels alone, with only her sock puppet Muffins as her companion. What little money she has, she earns by performing acrobatics in parks or on street corners. For the time being it keeps her belly filled.
Timeline
The Sad Past:
At not quite Nineteen, there aren't really enough years of Roxxi's past to have much of a
history. She rarely tells her truth past, instead recreating a white picket fence childhood and
loving parents. At some point, Muffins came into her life, perhaps the invention of a childhood
therapist or Roxxi's vivid imagination. Either way, she is seldom without her sock puppet
companion.
Timeline:
*2002: Born to parents unknown, other than the stories Roxxi created.
*2007: Went into
foster care.
*2008: Starts a long series of attempted therapy
*2015: Age thirteen, develops
mutant abilities
*2017: Goes from foster families to a group home.

Personality
A Little Loopy:
Roxi definitely has a few loose screws. In therapy since her early childhood, she has had a few
issues to work through. She's very likely still working on them. She carries with her at all times,
Muffins her sock puppet, and converses with him regularly.
Cheerful:
Roxxi's indomitable sunny disposition remains fixed during good times and bad. Always smiling,
always seemingly happy, she rarely fails to offer a smile to those she meets. Even when times are at
their worst, she still manages to remain cheerful. Usually.
Fearless:
Roxxi is utterly fearless. She will scale a wall, walk a tight rope without a net, and do
numerous other dangerous feats. It just never occurs to her to be afraid.
Flexible Morality:
Roxi knows right from wrong. Well, her version thereof. Hurting someone out of spite is wrong.
However, sharing is caring, and plucking a few extra dollars off someone who has it to spare?
Perfectly fine.
Kind:
Roxi has a deeply generous and kind spirit. Without hesitation, she'd give her last penny to a
friend in need, no questions asked. Sharing is caring extends towards herself as well, after
all.
Protective:
No one hurts a friend of Roxxi, and she would quickly put herself in danger to protect one. The
one limit to this is it must be either someone she cares about or perhaps someone defenseless.
Otherwise, everyone else is on their own.
Character Sheet
Powers
Agility:
Roxxi is extremely flexible. Heels behind the head? Fall into the splits? Easy peasy. Her
ability to bend, flex, and twist, out contortions most professionals to the point of inhuman skill,
but only just.
Energy Absorption:
Roxi absorbs energy in the form of ambient light, whether natural or artificial. She can draw in
the light around her, causing lights to dim. She can only draw in light from her immediate area.
Additionally, light cannot be broken by obstacles such as walls.
Exploding Rocks!:
Roxi also can redirect the energy she's absorbed and overcharge objects causing them to explode.
She can only charge items made of mineral composition, such as rocks, stone, and their products like
concrete. Also, she is limited to a depth and width of about 6 inches, whether a loose stone or a
handsized chunk in a wall.
Improvised Weapons:
Roxxi has an almost uncanny knack at finding, and using mundane items as weapons. It isn't
something she directs, but there always seems to be something readily at hand when needed in a
fight. Be it a cast-iron skillet to use as a bludgeon, or galvanized steel trash can lid to use as a
shield, there always seems to be something. Akin to Luck, this only happens when she isn't actively
looking for something and is limited to fighting.
Skills
Computers:
Hacking and other higher computing proficiencies aren't her thing. She does, however, possess
easy familiarity with Smart Phones common to her generation. Roxxi also has some impressive Search
Engine Fu.
Dance:
Roxi only had a few classes in classical ballet during her time training for Competitive
Gymnastics. Still, she learned to love dancing. She continued to incorporate dance into her
routines, though her dancing is intuitive and untrained, more than anything.
Fighting Style:
Like Gymnastics, desperate foster parents signed the energetic young Roxxi into Karate at the
local YMCA. She had only a few years of study, but it combined naturally with her acrobatics making
for her personal fighting style. Additionally, she has a penchant for knives and her knack for
improvised weapons.
Gymnastics and Acrobatics:
Roxxi's first set of foster parents put her into tumbling classes as a way to channel some of
her more erratic energy. She did well, and at the behest of her social workers, often managed to
cajole additional parents into more advanced classes. Due to her fearless nature, her interests soon
spread to acrobatics. While she joined a gymnastics team in High School, the competitive nature of
the sport proved too challenging for Roxxi. Nonetheless, even after quitting the team and running
away, she kept in practice. She can often be found in parks, busking for money, as she performs her
agile routines. The lithe movements have also proved an asset in other situations as well.
Sneaking and Thievery:
There are several skills one picks up, while growing up 'in the system.' Roxxy can pick most
tumbler style locks, and even a few more complex mechanisms. The same with picking pockets. Moving
about quietly, is also a skill picked up in some of her more, unpleasant, foster homes. All these
skills, coupled with her innate fearlessness and aggility make for a passable thief.
Resources
Cell Phone:
While Roxxi doesn't own much, she does have a Cell Phone. It isn't top of the line and not the
newest model, but it does what she needs it to do.
Collection of Stabbities:
Roxxi likes knives. She has several, 'picked up' along the way. She has none of specific note,
but most tend to be small, sharp, and easy to conceal.
Lock Pick Earrings:
Roxxi has several ear piercings, and the lowest three lobe pierings on either side are a set of
lock picks. Nothing fancy, just a spin on the 'hair pin' lock picks.
Muffins:
Muffins is a Sock puppet. He is argyle in pattern, in shades of burgundy and pink, with bright
green button eyes, and a spray of yellow yarn hair.
Weaknesses
Energy Absorption:
Roxxi can only absorb light from her immediate surroundings. She also cannot absorb light on the
other side of broken line-of-sight, such as tall walls.
Explosions:
She can only explode rocks, stones, and anything of mineral composition. She can't overcharge
anything once organic, like a wooden table. Also, the size of an object she can explode is only
about a 6-by-6 dimension.
Moral Compass:
Roxxi's sense of right and wrong isn't exactly conventional. She happily commits petty crimes if
they are justified by the results.
Unstable:
Roxxi still has a few issues to work out. She has an unreliable grasp of reality and can't
always be trusted to keep focused. She also depends on the counsel of a sock puppet for important
decision-making.
