The youngest daughter of T'Chaka, Shuri is the Princess of Wakanda. The girl is known for her natural talent with anything electronic and is possibly the most talented worker of Vibranium on the planet. She is considered a genius among her people and can likely stand with the world's smartest. She is responsible for a great many inventions that are used by her brother.

Timeline:
* 2001: Shuri is born, the youngest daughter of T'Chaka and the only child he would have with Ramonda.

* 2003: T'chaka dies when he refuses to give Ulyssess Klaw the mining rights to Wakanda. S'Yan takes over as the Regent of Wakanda and holds the mantle of Black Panther.

* 2005: Shuri starts training and schooling early, already showing signs of being the intellectual equal to her brother and having a creative mind.

* 2011: Watching from the sidelines, Shuri is told she is obviously too young to try to challenge for the mantle of Black Panther. She all the same rushes the ring despite her age to watch closely as her brother takes the mantle and becomes ruler of Wakanda.

* 2012: The Alien Alliance attacks and Shuri rushes out to defend Wakanda with one of her earliest inventions. Having turned the power on too high to her Truncheon (an electric baton), she ends up killing one of the invaders. Later she is found by her brother who promises to personally continue her training in combat.

* 2015: Shuri finds out about the scientific alliance with the Fantastic Four and insists that she be a part of it, given her intellect.

* 2020: She is told that she will be left under the protection of Wakanda and her uncle S'Yan while T'Challa goes out into the world. She, of course, doesn't exactly listen.

Caring:
She cares, often too much, about her people, the world, and her family. She wants what is best for everyone even if she has a funny way of showing it. She will often put her full mind behind helping a situation and fixing it even if she is told not to.

Confident:
Shuri might have a bit of an ego. Being who she is comes with that. She believes herself to be the smartest person in the room no matter which room she is in. She often times is quite correct.

Nobility:
She is a princess after all, and a good part of her is put into the fact that she is a princess. As such, she carries herself as nobility even if she often lets her mouth override the situation.

Obstinate:
Just like much of her family (especially her brother), Shuri doesn't change her mind once it is made up very easily. If she believes she is on the right course, her intellect and her own knowledge of her intellect, lead her to believe she is right. Often no matter what.

Outspoken:
Despite being just a princess, she often is more than willing to tell her Kingly Brother just how she feels and what is on her mind. Sure, she often backs down if he lays down the law but while others will bow to the king, she is the one still calling him on his ideas*. (The * stands for stupid) She would have no problem speaking out against others.

Scientific Virtuoso:
Shuri's intellect and creativity is something beyond belief. She has a knack for creation that is nearly magical in nature. She is capable of creation on the fly given the right resources, and thanks to being Wakandan Royalty, she often has those resources. She can also learn at an alarming speed, capable of quickly understanding things of a technological nature. She can mentally take apart something she sees then reassemble it without even touching it, often even improving upon it. Further, there are few subjects that oculd be brought to her attention that she couldn't quickly understand.

Acrobatics:
Her skills in acrobatics are extremely impressive. She could easily go to the Olympics and contend for gold in multiple sports.

Computers:
She is talented with computers beyond belief. This is separate from her normal education mainly due to the aptitude she has with computers. She can type and code incredibly fast, moving through a computer's programming like a shark through water.

Diplomacy:
Shuri is less trained in this as much as she has a natural talent for it. She has a knack for finding the right words to say at the right time to put people at ease, distract them, or convincing them to think her way.

Education:
Given her intellectual prowess and talent, Shuri was educated with the finest tools and teachers in Wakanda. Unlike her brother, she has not gone elsewhere for her teaching but was given access to a modern education that puts her at the level of having a doctorate though she doesn't have a real one. Her main focus was on engineering and computer science, however, she also has graduate level education in Natural Sciences, Engineering & Technology, and biological sciences.

Linguistics:
Besides her native language, Shuri is capable of speaking English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Russian.

Martial Artist:
Shuri, being a member of the Royal Family of Wakanda, was trained from a young age to defend herself with both weapons and hand to hand. Beyond that, she was trained by her brother how to fight as well. She has been trained with the advanced and traditional weapons of Wakanda and has some skill in many non-Wakandan weapons as well. She is talented enough thanks to both her normal training and her brother to fight those with enhanced physiques. She is not as good as her brother but she is working on that, too.

Vibranium Wiz:
When it comes to Vibranium, Shuri has the skills to use it to make a great many things and items. While she can use most any resource to create something interesting, using Vibranium gives her an edge that others just don't have.

Diplomatic Immunity:
She has diplomatic immunity when visiting a number of places, including the United States, where there is a Wakandan Embassy.

Hardlight Visor:
A visor that comes out as a full mask from her new suit or can simply be stored as a simple visor in kimoyo beads she wears as earings. The visor is capable of scanning in any spectrum of light, quickly providing information in a HUD and is attached to her computer back at home. The visor provides real time information based on both the library of Wakanda, Shuri's own research, and of course what information is available on the internet. She can use it to scan what is before her and it is capable of detecting radiation as well as various fields of energy.

King's Sister:
This resource is simple. She is the little sister of King T'Challa aka the Black Panther. She can call on him for help (something she loathes doing) and woe upon those that would dare harm her. Someone who hurt Shuri or otherwise would find hell bearing down on them in the shape of a Black Panther fairly quickly.

Nano-Wings:
These wings are made out of hardlight and nanites that form a set of sturdy wings, as hard as steel and capable of reaching speeds of up to 150 mph using both the flap of the wings and small jets. Highly maneuvarable, they are capable of reducing back down to a pair of pads that Shuri typically wears at her shoulders.

Omni-Directional Gear:
This gear, typically kept on a belt at her hips, create a liquid wire that she can fire off from the boxes there. The wire can be used as an anchor that she can then reel in to pull herself toward a target or potentially pull a target toward herself. The tensile strength of the wire is strong enough to support up to five tons (more with multiple lines used).

Truncheons:
Shuri has a pair of truncheons that are made with vibranium. The weapons are tough enough to block blades and can administer a variable level electric shock that is strong enough to stun a bull elephant.

Vibranium Gauntlets:
Made from vibranium and crafted in the form of a stylized roaring panther, Shuri's gauntlets emit sonic-based attacks that work two different ways. The first mode fires single bursts of waves that can take grown men off their feet and even stagger someone using a Panther Habit. The second mode is a continuous wave of energy that can hold a foe in place, unable to escape the sonic field. This effect is powerful enough to keep even someone with a Panther Habit subdued for a short period.

Vibranium Suit:
Shuri has a new suit she put together with the same idea as the Panther Habit but in her own style. The suit is laced with vibranium and covers her from wrist to ankle. The suit absorbs damage, capable of withstanding even high caliber bullet fire though despite the vibranium, the wearer can still feel some of the kinetic force. Damage, strain, and movement is converted into energy for the suit, her equipment. It also allows her to enhance her strength slightly to the point where she can lift over a quarter of a ton.

Similar to the Panther Habit, the suit itself can be stored inside Kimoyo Beads when not in use and can form over her when she needs it.

Vibranium Tech:
Using Vibranium, Shuri has and can make a number of interesting pieces of tech. While she cannot carry an infinite amount of tech on her person, Shuri has created quite a few easy to use pieces of tech that she keeps to herself either for reasons of them being too dangerous or for them being too expensive to create enmasse (often the former). She also tends to keep a small amount of resources on her person to create something on the fly if she needs to. Her very outfit is often tech in and of itself.

Wakanda:
She is Princess Shuri of Wakanda. While she can't call down as much power in the country or from the country as her brother can, she is royalty and she can call upon Wakanda fairly easily for both its people and resources. Not to mention use their contacts/clout.

Weaknesses

Brother:
T'Challa is a weakness in two ways. If someone were to threaten him, it could give her pause but also he can put a stop to her, too. While she is known for ignoring him or going against his orders, she knows that she can only push that so far. She may be able to manipulate things to fit what she wants but she knows if she pushes things too far she could end up in real trouble with her brother and end up getting freedoms curtailed.

Obstinate:
As much as it can be helpful to her, it is sometimes a drawback that she is so headstrong. She will sometimes go into situations that are above her head because she is so confident she can handle them.

Royalty:
She has responsibilities to her people. While she often does as she pleases if she thinks what she is doing is the right thing or will help her people, she does have a responsibility to them and thus must make sure that she keeps up with that responsibility even at the cost of her own comfort.

Target:
As talented as Shuri is, she's something of a target. She isn't the Black Panther. She doesn't have her brother's skill level in combat nor his powers. People see her as an opportunity to get at Wakanda or get at T'Challa and as such she can often end up targeted.
