Stormwatch

Stormwatch is a US Government 'emergency response task force' that falls under the auspices of the ARGUS directorate of the Department of Extranormal Operations. It is a quasi-military team consisting almost entirely of metahumans produced by the Weapon Plus program or recruited into it. Stormwatch liases with the Department of Defense and even SHIELD to address threats specifically affecting the United States. A lack of official military rank gives plausible deniability to the team's operations while on US soil.

A parallel team under SOCOM was Team 7, and included Alexander Fairchild and Slade Wilson.
