Gotham City.
It felt like far more than 4 years since Jason had set eyes on his home city. Things have taken a drastic turn for them both, his eyes lingering lightly on the dilapidated mansions and old-money housing on the North Island. The tidal wave had taken its toll, of course, but it seemed as though the criminal underworld so famed in Gotham had taken more than its fair share. Resting astride his stolen dirtbike, its low engine the only sound around him right now, Jason peers at the broken face of his home through the lightly-tinted red hue of his mask.
This city. It waited for someone to clean it up. It waited for someone, anyone, willing to do what its famed Batman would never do. What only he would do. But would the people accept his ways? How would he handle public opinion when compared to the Bat? He has information to out him for what he is, but that wouldn't be nearly enough. No. Not for the man who forgot his second son. He would change this city. And he would visit his hatred upon the Batman.
All of it. It was just a matter of time. He smiles a bit behind his mask, then kicks the engine back into gear, the high-pitched keening of the engine fading as he sped his way back home.
