Viltrum

Earth first became aware of the planet Viltrum when a Viltrumite arrived on Earth in 2002. Taking the name Nolan Grayson, he became better known as the hero Omni-Man. With levels of strength and flight rivaling Superman, he made quite a name for himself at first. But his superhero career was brief, and he disappeared from the public eye never to seen again.

The truth of the matter was that somehow, Omni-Man had lost his powers. After, Nolan Grayson continued living on Earth, having married a woman named Debbie who gave birth to their son, Mark Grayson who would later come be known as the hero Invincible.

That Omni-Man was from a planet called Viltrum was not a secret, but given he has not been a hero for twenty years it is not exactly common knowledge anymore. Nolan told his family that Viltrum is a benevolent world that since their denizens are so powerful, send their best to other worlds to serve as protectors.

Viltrum is in a distant galaxy, and is unknown to our galaxy's races such as the Shi'ar, Kree, Kryptonians, or the Guardians of Oa. If you would like to run a plot around the canon events related to Viltrum, please contact staff.
