Wonderland is a recently emerged demesne located on the far edges of the Fae Realms. It is no longer a fae territory, nor is it any longer strictly part of The Dreaming. It is a wild and un-tamed land, heavily influenced by the Lords of Chaos.

Origin

Wonderland began as a skerry, an 'islet' of sorts where mortal influences could influence the evolution of parts of The Dreaming without their visions spilling over and changing the greater realm. This was an arrangement made between The Dreamlord, with the Lords of Order and Lords of Chaos. Those two entities were interested in the mind of a mathematician named Charles Dodgson and his vividly whimsical imagination. His dreams were so descriptive and fanciful that it was deemed valuable to preserve not just the stories, but the world itself as a character.

Wonderland was furthur reinforced by the presence of a young child named Alice Liddell, to whom Dodgson regularly wrote stories about a mythical and absurd land. Alice regularly visited Wonderland in her own dreams and reinforced the reality imprinted upon it with a child's perspective. Thanks to the newfangled creation of the printing press, and the rise of international trade and literacy, Wonderland's stability increased exponentially. The knowledge of Wonderland is near to becoming part of the collective human unconscious, and an ideologue in The Dreaming in its own right.
