Zarathos

Zarathos is a hellion of formidable power who was lured into eternal slavery at the feet of the cruel entity known as Mephisto. Mephisto in turn lashes Zarathos' power to mortals who agree to serve him, and the gestalt entity serves as a bounty hunter of sorts to claim those souls that are promised to Mephisto but which have not been delivered. Zarathos' current host is the daredevil known as Johnny Blaze.
