Bart Allen	Bart Allen will look to Emiko after the party, and says "I hope you had fun meeting my friends, but I did plan a bit for us for Valentine day." He tells her. He will look at her, and says "Got anything you have to do for the next 23 hours or so?" He will ask her. He heads out and is back in just a moment, with a duffle bag. "I figure we can buy a change of clothes either on the way or there."
Emiko Queen	Emi is still smiling from having gotten to meet so many of Bart's friends and be part of Phoebe's birthday. But when Bart mentions plans and Valentine's, she blinks, looking up at him. "Not that I know of. I don't start classes until next week, I have all my supplies and syllabi, I've met with my Guidance Counselor, my Academic Advisor, and all but one of my professors and I will meet the last one on Thursday." Turning towards him, she curls her arms around his neck and smiles up at him, "So I'm all yours."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and offers her the duffle and once she has it, he will scoop her up in his arms, and heads off at a run. "So, I am curious know in Ameria, bathing suits are bottoms for guys and bottoms and tops for girls, in europe it is just bottoms for girls, at least some places, what do they wear at the beaches in Japan?
Emiko Queen	"For beaches, top and bottom are required for women, and bottom for men. However, in the onsens it is acceptable to be nude, and is actually expected. Many onsens are now separated by sex, though a few communal ones still exist in some of the more traditional areas." Emiko chuckles as she imparts the cultural etiquette to him. After a moment, she offers, "Onsens are the hot springs used to relax and soak and meditate, the hot springs. You must bathe before you enter it."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and says "I was fixing to ask." He says as they make their way to a medium sized town in Japan, and says "So I am taking you to the beach, we need to get bathing suits, and a change of clothes, anything else we need to get for an over night stay here?" He asks her as they come up to a mall type store and he sets her on her feet.
Emiko Queen	"Toiletries. Hygiene is extremely important here, so brushing teeth and hair, wearing deordorant... very important." Emiko glances around the area with a smile as they arrive. "If we plan to do any formal dining, a nice outfit will be necessary. Shoes, slacks, button-down shirt. If the option is available, I will get a kimono. Not required, but I enjoy them."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit and says "Well, you lead the way on this one, I am mostly this." He motions to his graphic t and jeans. "I will probably want to get a couple pairs of socks while we are here, inside you just wear socks right?"
Emiko Queen	"Actually, there should be slippers provided in the room if we stay with a traditional hotel or bed and breakfast. Most major chains keep to European or American traditions. But socks would still be good, just in case," Emiko smiles, taking his hand and starting inside. She glances over her shoulder at him and grins, "Are you brave enough to try on a kimono, or would you prefer to stick to shirt and pants?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen looks to her and says "I will try it on, what do I wear under it?" He asks, and says "Can I wear sweatpants under it, or maybe some shorts? I mean If I have to run, not sure how well a Kimono would do while running at speed." He follows her and says "I trust you."
Emiko Queen	Laughing lightly at the questions, Emiko gives a nod and smiles at him, "Traditionally you would have undergarments beneath the kimono. Since these are modern times, that would include boxer-briefs, but kimono in the winter also tend to be padded or lined and come with an under layer. You will also have a haori jacket and hakama and obi belt that go over the kimono, but it is all very loose and free-flowing, so the friction should be minimal. I don't know how the tabi socks and zori will hold up. Maybe I can keep a pair of shoes for you in a bag, just in case."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen hmms and nods a bit and says "Are the Zori, the wooden shoes? I mean normal clothes generally hold up ok, but I aint sure how those would hold up to normal running, I mean, wouldn't the bottoms break off easy?" He really does not know. He follows her along and says "So, Kimono's have designs on them right, do they have meaning or just look neat?"
Emiko Queen	"Not the ones you're thinking of. Those are getta, and not something I would expect you to wear. Zori are like... flip-flops but generally sturdier. And of better construction. And yes, you can run in in kimono and hakama, the hems halt before they would interfere with your feet and everything is firmly tied and buttoned and would not fall." Emiko explains as she leads him into a more traditional (and fancy) shop. Greeting the counter girl in Japanese, she explains what they are looking for, and lets the girl find a few options as she turns back to Bart, "That depends. Most of simply fashion. But for those ancient families, there can be meaning behind the patterns and designs."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head, and says "Any chance mine can have lightning bolts on it?" He asks with a grin "Maybe red and white?" He asks with his color scheme. "Ok, I am pretty sure I will stand out no matter what I wear but I am willing to give it a try hon."
Emiko Queen	Laughing lightly, Emiko murmurs, "I don't know that lightning bolts will be a normal design... but I can certainly have something made custom for a special occasion..." And now she likely will. Just for the sheer fun of it! What IS brought out, however, is not a bad compromise! His kimono is white with bright yellow outlined clouds and winds, a cream/light gold hakama, and a red haori jacket with a black obi belt to tie it all together. The tabi are white, and the zori have a red base with black padded straps. She smiles at him, "I did try to keep your.. signature colors.. in mind."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles at her, and says "Cool." He looks at it, and seems to like it, but also does not seem to know much about if this is good or bad, but he does seem appreciative. "I should show ya the tux I made sometime. I needed something for the Asguardian Embassy event." He grins and says "Took me a few times, but I figured it out."
Emiko Queen	Laughing lightly, she glances up at him, "You -made- a tux? I definitely have to see that. I didn't know you could sew!" Emiko glances back to the kimono, then to the shop girl and gives her nod of approval, speaking to her again in Japanese and motioning towards Bart. When she looks back to him, she smiles, "They have a male attendant that will help you try it on to make sure everything is properly sized. And while you get dressed, I will see to my own kimono." She squeezes his hand and sends him off with the kimono while chatting away with the shop girl and moving towards the back with her.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen will follow the man, and luckily he is wearing newish underwear and socks so no holes in them. He is after all, a teenage guy, but they are back as emergency now, always wear nice clothes, even underwear on a date. He will take a few minutes getting things right, and actually takes it seriously at least with the sells man. He will step out looking around, not sure if Emiko will be out yet, after all normally woman heck anyone takes longer to dress than him, but he had to be shown how to wear stuff.
Emiko Queen	Emiko takes a few moments more to get ready, but it becomes obvious why when she steps out. The woman's kimono comes with a LOT more accessories. Hers is a bright cherry read with cranes and clouds over lotus flowers around the hem, a yellow obi, the white tabi and her zori have a thicker wedge heel that lifts her up a few inches and have red straps. She lacks the hair ornamentation only because she keeps her hair short. Smiling at Bart, she dips into a very careful and precise bow and murmurs, "You look great, Bart."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen whistles softly when she steps out "You look amazing, but then I should not be surprised you always look amazing." He says. He walks over and takes her hand and gives it a soft squeeze, seems he may have snuck a moment to look at Japanese customs, and does not kiss her on the cheek since PDA is frowned on there.
Emiko Queen	She smiles softly and returns the squeeze to his hand, "Thank you. And this is fully appropriate wear to ANY formal dining affair." Emiko leans in and murmurs, "We should get back into our clothes and have these boxed up." Turning back to the salesgirl, she gives a nod and offers a quick bit of Japanese, offering up that credit card again with a smile. The shopgirl nods and chatters happily then moves off while the pair return to the changing rooms to get back into their 'street clothes'. Once the pair are dressed and back up front, the shop girl has a question for Emi that has her looking to Bart, "Hey B? You want to get us booked into one of the hotels in the area right quick so we can have the boxes sent over? Let me know if you need the card."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and says "We will have to find a locker to store it in, you can't book them till late in the evening. " He tells her as he has looked into them. He will ask about where he can rent one to put them in.
Emiko Queen	"Then I'll have them send it to a concierge service to hold until we can make other arrangements. This way we can keep shopping without having to stop off somewhere after each shop," Emi smiles at him and turns to the shopgirl, chattering back and forth for a few moments before giving a nod and smile, offering a bow and a parting word. Then she's taking Bart's hand and pulling him out of the shop, "She's going to text me the name, number, and confirmation for the concierge service. When we have the hotel booked, we can have everything forwarded there." Drawing him down the way, she heads towards a more 'department store' type of store where they can pick up a change of clothes and toiletries.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head and is easily drawn along with her, maybe stopping a moment to look at this or that, but luckily it does not take him long to look at things. "You know I have been through Japan, a lot, but never spent much time, actually seeing it." He admits.
Emiko Queen	Chuckling lightly, Emi smiles at him, "I'm not terribly surprised. As fast as you move, you probably miss a lot more than you think. It's one of the things I love about Japan. Everything is done as it's done. You don't hurry anything. Take your time. Savor the experience." She pauses at a small venfor and grins, "Oh! Here. Mochi. If you haven't, you have to. And I bet you could use a bit of a boost." Turning to the vendor, she looks over the options, then speaks to the man in Japanese, turning over the yen for it. Yes, she carries yen. Taking the treats in return, she holds up the plastic dish that holds the frozen treats and smiles, "Have one."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen takes it and looks at it a moment turning it over so he can see all sides of it, and then takes a large bite of it, chewing and looks over to her, and "Looks over and says "This is pretty good." He does walk close to her occasionally softly bumping his hip to hers playfully
Emiko Queen	"Ice cream wrapped in sweetened rice paper. A perfect little dessert in one bite." Emiko smiles, then picks up a green one and pops it into her mouth. She points to the ones in the cup, "Vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, mango, and green tea." The hip bump has her grinning at him and returning the bump. "Soooooooo... Ollie wants to meet you."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen stops mid chew, and looks over to her, and finishes his chewing and says "Is he going to try to ne all dark and forbidding with the whole treat her right or else?" He offers her a grin and says "And if he does, should I let him think I am all worried and such?" He looks at her "Not that he aint intimidating, but as long as I got a moments notice, I think I am ok, plus I don't plan on hurting you, so not like it will be a problem in the first place.
Emiko Queen	Emiko lets out a laugh and jostles his shoulder with her own, "I am amused that the 'not hurting you' part came at the END of all that." Pausing for another mochi, she eats it down then lifts a shrug, "He might? But probably not. I'm pretty sure you're exactly the kind of guy he was hoping I would find. You are sweet, caring, and respectful to me at all times. And if he tries, -I'll- kick his butt." She flashes a grin, "But I'm pretty sure he's going to recognize the overwhleming similarity in names to a certain friend of his and have some questions."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and says "Well that depends on if he knows the name. I mean most people know Wally, and he is my cousin, but he and Irie are Wests. I need to introduce you to both of them. Irie is Wally's daughter from the future but only from like 20 years in the future or so. And yea, Speedster and time gets confusing.
Emiko Queen	"..I meant Barry. He knows Barry Allen." She glances sidelong at him and offers a sheepish shrug and smile. "Ollie has some pretty big contacts and friends. So like.. I'm familiar with some big name people. That's why I knew who Tim was before we were really introduced. Hell, I've even met Bruce Wayne, though he probably wouldn't remember me. He seemed... distracted.. at the time." Emiko offers up another of the mochi to him before tossing the empty cup into a recycling bin and pulling him into the department store. "But I can't wait to meet your family."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and says "Barry and I are both actually Bartholomew, but neither one of us goes by it, I was named after him." He admits. "He is still a good bit from even having my dad, but I have gotten to meet him a couple times, but not spent much time with him sadly."
Emiko Queen	"It's fine, I'm not saying that you need to be on close terms with the guy, just... Ollie will probably ask questions. And there's going to come a point where you and he both have to make a decision. Otherwise its going to get really awkward as we try to dance around.. things," Emi lifts a shrug and glances at him. "Besides, wouldn't be the first time we've had people show up from the future. There's a lot of that going around these days." She smiles at him, then pulls him over to the men's section. "So Japanese fashion tends to go for more meutral tones and colors with small pops of color for us younger set. So just, look around and see if there's things you like? Go with comfortable, since these don't have to be fancy." She gives his hand a squeeze and moves to check out a row of t-shirts with anime characters on them.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen hmms and looks about for a bit, he finds some cargo pants, he is used to something like them from work, the fact the bottoms zips off to make them into shorts, he finds cool so a black pair of them are picked. He then picks out a white t-shirt and an kimono jacket with the classic wave print along the bottom of it. Emiko Queen	Emiko has picked out a pair of light wash 'cutoff' shorts with a red croptop and an oversized hoodie with Sailor Mars in full Sailor Suit and Hero Pose. A pair of bright red socks to go with some pristine white sneakers with a chunky but lightweight sole. She also picks up a messenger bag. Grinning at him, she tugs him along so they can each get some underwear... which happens to lead right into the swimwear! Turning a grin up at Bart, she lifts a brow, "Now comes the fun part..."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen will smile at her. He looks through the mail swimsuits, picking up a thong, his brow raises and he shakes his head. He finds some red and black board shorts, and holds them up, and nods. Yup He is a guy "Ok got mine." He says and looks over to her with a smile.
Emiko Queen	Laughing, Emi just shakes her head as he grabs up the first pair of boring board shorts he can find. She drifts off into the female section, browsing over the various options. Chuckling over some, shaking her head over others. Finding one, she grins, plucks it up and immediately hides it under the other clothes. "Got mine! Okay, toiletries and then lunch? Since we've got a ways until we can book into a hotel?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and says "Yea, check in at the earliest is 7pm, but check out aint till around noon or one pm tomorrow." He hmms and says "Do we need anything besides the normal stuff we would at home? I mean, I figure we need the things normally get when you travel. Hmms, we may want to set up go bags, for insta trips."
Emiko Queen	"Yeah, just normal stuff. Hair brush, deordorant, razor if you need to shave... there should be soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Depending on the hotel, you might even be provided with pajamas or a yukata for travelling back and forth between the bath and room or the onsen and room." Emiko grins at him, "And that wouldn't be a bad idea. Just keep like a messenger bag with a change of clothes and some basic toiletries."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit and steps up behind her, and wraps his arms around her. "Well pick out something you like the smell of for me?" He hmms and says "Preferably something extra strong or along those lines." He offers with a smile. " He does rest his chin on the top of her head as he hugs her.
Emiko Queen	"Mmmmmm... I like the smell of you. But I suppose I can find something that won't be too overpowering. Probably get a clinical strength... and maybe a nice cologne for you," Emik smiles and leans back into him, lifting her hands to grip at his forearms, giving a squeeze.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit as he wraps his arms around her, and says "Well, you might light the smell of me now, but not so sure, if I have to break the sound barrier." He grins at her, and says "So, what types of smells for cologne do you like?
Emiko Queen	Laughing lightly, Emi gives a nod, "You might have a point there. Okay. Deordorant." She pauses, then smiles, "Vetiver, sage, alfalfa, ginger, cinammon.. touch of clove..." Tilting her head, she buries her hose in his shoulder and draws in the scent of him with a smile, "And you." She hides a quick kiss to the side of his neck and offers, "I also prefer spearmint to peppermint, I like lilies but not calla lilies because they remind me of funerals, and I hate dragonfruit. It's too sweet and a pain in the ass."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen hmms and nods his head a bit to her, and says "And do you see white as the color of funerals and black the color of weddings?" He asks, he knows a little bit it seems at least. He hmms and says "I probably smell like Alfalfa a lot, working with the animals feed and such." He admits to her. "I will have to quiz you on your favorite everything." He says with a smile
Emiko Queen	"I don't subscribe to white for brides, but I don't insist on black either. Though yes, that is traditional. And white -is- for mourning." She smiles up at him and winks, "Probably part of why I like the smell of you so much. Sunshine and alfalfa." Leaning in against him, she smiles, "Red is my favorite color. I have no allergies that I know of. I like all kinds of music, and I will dance to anything. I love a good sense of humor, even puns are okay when used properly." She pauses, then glances up at him, "You can have all the secrets you need, tell me if you can't talk about something. But don't ever lie to me. Its the one line I have. No lies."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and says "Well that works out pretty well, as I am a horrible liar, I mean, I have a hard enough time, not telling people about their kids or grand kids or such in the future, you know how much more of an issue trying to keep things I made up straight in my head would be?" He offers her a smile and says "Well, you know me and games, I like trying new things. I like the way you smell, I listen to most music but prefer something with a fast beat." He admits. "I have been told I am generally more funny when I am not trying to be than when I am trying to be."
Emiko Queen	Chuckling softly, she gives a nod and kisses the tip of his nose. "Soooooo, if you stay in this timeline, doesn't that mean there's the potential for you to become your own ancestor?" Smiling as he tells her more about himself, Emi listens happily. "I think most people are funnier when they aren't trying. When we try there's too much pressure to 'get it right'. When it just happens... it happens." She makes him waddle along with her, keeping his arms around her waist as she picks up the toiletries for them.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen says, "I don't think so, honestly from talking to some other time travelers, I don't think we are just traveling in time, I think we go to a different time line, to many time travelers around here from a lot of different futures." He tells her. He walks along with her all sappy couple like."
Emiko Queen	Nodding, Emiko absorbs that for a moment, "So you think you're not just from the future but like... the distant future of another world, similar but not exact to this one? I suppose that would be how it would have to be done. Paradox would set in otherwise." She seems to enjoy this little show of affection and sappiness. When they reach the counter, however, she'll give him a squeeze and finally step out from the cozy circle of Bart she'd been in. Everything get's piled up, and she grabbed a messenger bag for him too so they can just put everything into the bags and carry them around easily. Glancing up, she grins, "Want to get some ramen?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head and slides his messenger bag on and offers to carry hers as well. "Sure, I could use something to eat. " He hmms and says "They have a lot of different types here right? I mean is is sorta like how every place has it's own burger back home right?"
Emiko Queen	"Each place will have it's own 'touch' to it, yes. Different places will use different ingredients or flavors to make it their own. Some bank on the high anime culture and will only make foods depicted in manga or anime." Emiko pulls out her phone and does a quick search, face lighting up, "Oh! Here! This is one of my favorite places. They do a -great- ramen, but they have other stuff too. Run by a seventh generation chef, I swear his food is magic. It puts a smile on your face no matter HOW bad your day was."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and will follow along with her, and says "I have watched some anime, I think sword Art Online is one of my favorites, I identify a lot with the main character, and the whole living in a VR environment. " He admits to her. He will look at the address, and looks about and makes sure none are looking and scoops her up to get her outside the place.
Emiko Queen	Laughing as he carries her off to the restaurant, she smiles when they arrive, taking his hand to lead him inside. It's a lovely place with glass fronted windows that still have the bamboo shutters used to cover the openings before glass was widespread. Inside, the space is relatively small but very clean. A trio of booths along one set of windows, a trio of tables against the other set, and a small sushi bar up near the kitchen, with a couple two-top tables against the far wall. It looks like it's been here since the last Shogunate. Emi calls out in Japanese, then grins when the call comes back. "You're about to meet Hirai Akira, the best chef you will ever know." The man that exits from the kitchen is perhaps 5'6", with that ageless look, salt and pepper hair, and a lithe build. Emi is quick to offer a bow, chatting with the man with a happy smile. Then she steps aside and motions to Bart, "This is Bart Allen. He is my boyfriend. Bart, this is Master Hirai." Bart gets sized up by the man before offering a nod and a carefully spoken, "Hello Bart. It is good to meet you. Emiko tells me you have a big appetite. I have fed samurai and sumo, I look forward to filling your belly." Then he's ushering them to one of the tables so they have the most space before slipping back into the kitchen.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and takes his shoes off when he sees Emiko, and when the man nods to him, Bart will nod back keeping his eyes on the other man as he does (too many martial arts movies maybe). He grins and says "It is a pleasure to meet you, and I am looking forward to trying your food, Emiko has spoken highly of it and if she likes it I am sure it will be very good."
Emiko Queen	Emiko smiles across at Bart as they're seated, "You should eat a lot. He will take it as the highest compliment if you eat all of his food. And he's not kidding. You can order as much as you want, he won't bat an eye." She gives his hands a squeeze, then smiles as a younger man brings out a pot of tea and glasses of water for them. She looks to Bart and murmurs, "They don't have soda here, so I asked for extra honey with the tea." Smiling as the drinks arrive, she greets, "Hello Chikao. I'm sorry to have gotten you kicked out of the kitchen for a bit, but it's wonderful to see you again. This is my boyfriend, Bart Allen." Looking to Bart, she smiles, "Chikao is Master Hirai's son. He's learning from his father and helps out with other things around the restaurant as needed. They keep it a wholly family affair." The man will smile to Emiko, then again to Bart, "A pleasure to meet you Bart. You must be special to have caught Emiko's eye, I am glad to meet you." To Emiko he chuckles, "No it's good. It means that he is inspired to cook a feast, and that I can have the easier task for a time." Bowing to them both, the man withdraws to pick up a straw broom and sweep the floors in measured strokes.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and nods to the other man in greeting "I can respect someone who follows in a family business." He smiles a bit as he says this. When he leaves he will look at Emiko, and says "Well if you think so, I will fuel up not just from the run over but for what ever we decide to do tonight." He will smile and says "So did you come here often when you lived in Japan?" He will reach to gently set his hand on hers.
Emiko Queen	"Good," Emiko smiles and turns her hand to give his a small squeeze. "Not so much as a child, but as a teenager I spent a lot of days here having lunch and enjoying Master Harai's company." She glances around the room and smiles, "This was almost like home for a few years. Even when I left to go join Ollie in Starling City, I still wrote to Master Harai and Chikao to make sure they were doing alright." Looking back to Bart, she grins, "They're almost like family."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen 's brow raises a bit and it seems he wonders something but he does not ask. He nods to her, and says "Well I will consider it a warm up for meeting Ollie." He tells her with a grin. He looks around the place taking it all in. "So how many generations has this been here?"
Emiko Queen	"Master Hirai is seventh generation. When Chikao takes over, then it will be eight." Emiko smiles warmly and runs her hands over the tabletop, "These tables, the chairs, the whole building... They've been here longer than I can remember. The decor never really changes, they just... take very good care of it."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and says "Well that is good, but does tell me might not want to come here to often, if you know what I mean. don't want to draw to much attention to it.
Emiko Queen	"I don't expect we'll always be in the area, so I don't think it will be too much an issue. But this was just a happy coincidence to end up here." Emi smiles at him and gives his hand a squeeze, then both father and son are coming out with dishes and bowls. There's large bowls of ramen, three different kinds. Plates of traditional Japanese dishes. Even some platters of sushi. Everything is set before them and the two men bow before stepping away to let the couple eat in peace... though not too far away. It's clear that the man takes pride in his cooking and enjoys watching his customers enjoy his food. Chikao makes tea for them and they sit at a small table with a pair of chairs, talking quietly amonst themselves. Emi grin at Bart, "Okay. Dig in. There's soba, udon, tonkatsu, braised pork belly, potato kakke, salmon three ways... I can't even name all the sushi..."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen hmms and nods looking over the food. He will start with the sushi, putting one of each type on his plate first to try them, and he does make sure to take his time showing he is giving the food a chance to be tasted, cause if he eats to fast at least at first, he worries he will offend. "Whats your favorite/" he will ask her.
Emiko Queen	Emiko will join him, taking a little of all the types of sushi laid out, though she doesn't hesitate to toss them into her mouth immediately. Smiling as she does so. "Of all the food? Or just the sushi?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen hmms and after he has tried a couple pieces, he will say "Of the sushi for a starter." He smiles over at her, and points towards one of the ones with shrimp, and says "So far I think this one is mine." He does try a bit of wasabi, and fans his mouth a little "Real stuff is hotter than what we get back home."
Emiko Queen	"Unagi. I love a good eel roll," Emiko flashes a grin towards him, motioning to the roll that has cucmber and something fishlike inside, with a soy-like sauce drizzled on top and sesame seeds sprinkled across it. She pauses when he tries the wasabi, then chuckles, "Yeah. Have a piece of the ginger to help cut through it. American wasabi is just like... horseradish and mustard and some coloring. Even most of the bigger Japanese places use horseradish. Master Harai would never allow such a thing, though, he uses only the wsabi jaronica root to make his wasabi." It holds a bite and a heat, but it also has a cleaner and almost more refreshing tone to it as well.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and says "I like it, I was just not expecting it." He tells her in honesty. He tries the new one she pointed out after the ginger giving his mouth a bit of time to recover, and hmms after it "Not bad, but I think I like the shrimp one best still." He tells her. He looks over to the Chef, and says "It is very good thank you." He then is eatting a bit faster with the sushi has he has tried all of the different ones.
Emiko Queen	Chuckling, Emi gives a nod, "Eel takes some getting used to." She continues to enjoy the sushi, turning her bright and happy smile towards the two men before turning back to her food. Glancing towards Bart once more, she sips on the tea and asks, "What would you like to do after this? We still have a couple hours before we can go to the hotel. Did you want to go to the beach for a bit after this?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and says "Yea, but I remember need to wait 30 seconds after eating to swim." He smiles at her knowing the saying is different for others. The young man will try some of the Ramen next and has heard slurping is the proper way to eat it. Between slurps he will ask "What about you, what do you want to do?
Emiko Queen	"Beach. Definitely beach. I'm gonna make your eyes pop out and your tongue roll onto the sand," Emiko grins and tips him a wink, then goes back to her food. She's a little slower than he is, but she gets to the ramen and eats it up with the chopsticks, using them like she was born with them. There's slurping. It's expected. Some noodles you eat quietly. Not ramen. "I figure if we hit the beach, the sun will let us know when it's time to head to the hotel."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit to this and nods "True, just hope we don't fall asleep and burn after all this food." He grins "But it would be worth it." Bart is a red head after all. He grins over to her, and says "Well I believe you could do that most any where." He tells her with a smile
Emiko Queen	"Naaaaaaaaaaah. Not warm enough for that yet. Besides, pale boy, you're the one that has to worry. I just get golden." Emiko winks, then sets the ramen aside to reach for the donburi. She's exercised as much willpower as possible, but the time has come!
Bart Allen	Bart Allen looks over at this and says "Ok whats this?" He follows her lead trying some of the Donburi. He smiles and uses the chop sticks with decent proficiency. It seems the outsiders have the type of food enough he has learned to use them.
Emiko Queen	"This. Is donburi. More specifically, it's yakiniku donburi. A mix of chicken and beef with steamed rice and vegetables with a steamed egg on top and a savory sweetish sauce that pairs really well with all of it." Emiko plucks up a nice bite of rice, veggies, egg, and meat, tucking it into her mouth with a happy sigh. After swallowing, she grins at him, "My favorite thing to get here." She points to the bowl, "The egg is cracked raw onto the finished bowl, then covered and let to steam cook. Then the sauce is added and then it's time to eat."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and says "So, id it best to mix it all up to get the egg throughout it, or just get bites as you do get pieces of it?" He asks, and tries a bit of it, and hmms "Pretty good." He tells her, eatting a bit of it, as they chat.
Emiko Queen	"Take the egg as you eat. Steamed egg is very delicate and you risk making a mess of it if you try to break it up and mix it together." Emi smiles across at him and demonstrates, 'snipping' out a piece of egg with the chopsticks, then plucking it up with a bite of the rest. SHe tucks the whole thing into her mouth and chews, eyes closing blissfully. "It's so light and fluffy you'd almost miss it..."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and follows her lead, and tries it savoring the taste. He hmms and says "I think I like the meat the best." He admits. A few of the other Titans may like the vegan dishes, but Bart is a meat eater, more protein for the running machine.
Emiko Queen	Laughing softly, Emiko murmurs, "Don't feel you have to eat everything I like just to please me. My diet is usually that of a pescitarian. Not because I -won't- eat meat, but just because it's better for keeping in shape." She glances down at the bowl and smiles, "This is a treat for me."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and says "Oh I can eat everything you eat, just I will eat everything I eat as well." He chuckles a bit and does try some of the other things taking his time, but he is putting a serious dent in the food brought out where does the thin yellow eyes kid put it.
Emiko Queen	It's an accepted fact that the smallest people can have the biggest appetites. Those who win food eating contests actually tend to be on the thin or small side. Neither Akiro nor Chikao bat an eye over how much Bart eats, just sipping their tea, chatting, and occasionally glancing over to be sure the pair are alright. At one point, a fresh pot of tea is brought to replace the spent pot, then the pair are left to their devices again. Once the food is gone and Emiko is leaning back into her chair with a happy sigh, Master Harai appears once more, smiling and bowing towards them, "Thank you very much for honoring our establishment." The bill is procured and Emi takes care of it, rising up to give the older man a hug. "Thank you Master Harai, it was delicious as always. I will write you soon, and send pictures, okay?" Stepping back, she smiles to Bart, "Ready?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and stands looking to Harai "Thank you, your food was delicious." He tells the man offering a bow to him respect before they leave "Now to the beach?" He asks her.
Emiko Queen	"To the beach!" Emiko declares, winding her arms around his neck with a grin.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and once they are outside and out of site, he scoops her up and off they go. Impulse taxi service. He finds a place out of sight and sets her down with a smile to her "This area look good?"
Emiko Queen	Emiko glances around, then smiles, "Should be fine. I know you can change in less than a blink, but I'm going to be a moment. You want to stake out a place for us on the sand while I deal with the swimsuit?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and in the blink of an eye he is in hit shorts, and says "Let me make sure here is clear." He checks and stops back by back to her "Your clear." and then he is heading down to check out the beach and find them a nice spot. "We should have gotten beach towels." and with that he is off and back with beach towels, hers has sailor moon on it, and his pickachu
Emiko Queen	Emi smiles after Bart when he goes to scout out a spot for them, taking the time to change over to her suit. Not long after he secures them towels, she steps out to join him. One of those teeny bikinis meant to barely contain her, the red of the suit with its white ruffles manages to be both adorable and alluring. The fact that it barely covers her at all might also help. It also shows just how much work she puts into maintaining the peak condition that she's in. Setting her bag down at her towel, she smiles up at him, "The water is going to be really cold, I don't recommend going in until later in the spring."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen looks over to her, and luckily he is not a shape shifter, so he does not pull a scene out of the mask. He smiles over to her, and says "Wow." He motions towards the towels "I got us some towels, we forgot to grab some, figured this one matches your shirt."
Emiko Queen	Grinning, she does a little spin to show off the suit, then glances around quickly and leans up to kiss him lightly. "Good idea. And thank you. I started watching Sailor Moon just a couple years ago, but I like it. The girls show flaws and personal growth, and the transformations get more and more ridiculous and silly."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and says "I can see that, this is from Sword Art Online. Sorta the opposite of me, people playing a game in VR and get trapped in it, where if they die in VR they die in Rl. The whole spending time in VR sorta speaks to me.
Emiko Queen	"That's understandable. Spend enough time immersed in something... it tends to stay with you." Emi smiles up at Bart, taking his hands and lacing their fingers together. "So. Are we building sand castles? Relaxing on the beach? Should we get a frisbee or something?" She might be teasing him, just a little.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and says "Or maybe lay here and hold your hand, while I look at you." He grins at her, and leans in for a quick soft kiss. "What do you want to do
Emiko Queen	Chuckling, Emiko returns the kiss, then gives a nod, "Relaxing on the beach sounds nice. Maybe a stroll by the surf a little later, just to stretch our legs and explore the beach a bit?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit to this and says "Maybe find a few shells, see if we can find something to take home with us and put on a shelf to remind us of this trip.
Emiko Queen	"I think that sounds great," Emi agrees, leaning in to kiss his cheek before moving to settle down onto the beach towel. Laying out on her back with an arm propped up under her head and her head turned so she can look at him. Smiling across at him, "I'm really glad you suggested this. It's been really fun so far and I'm looking forward to the rest of the day."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and will pull out some sun screen and applies it to himself, and says to her "Want me to do your back for you?" He asks holding the sun screen up to her. He got a decent strength version and he does look to her "What all you want to do while we are here?"
Emiko Queen	"That would be nice, thank you," Rolling to her stomach, Emiko tucks her arms under her head and lets her eyes close. "Hmmmmmmmm... there are so many things that can be done..." She pauses, then grins, "Do you have a driver's license?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen shakes his head, and says "Vic supposed to teach me, the only thing I have driven is the carts at the zoo. Most of the time, if I am taking a car, means I am getting someplace slower." He admits.
Emiko Queen	"Hmmmmmmm... okay. Then. Let's see... there's the Osaka Aquarium, which isn't quite a zoo but still lots of interesting animals. There's a pottery museum where you can actually make and glaze your own pot. A -ton- of temples and shrines with history and stories attached. Aaaaaaaaand Dotonbori Shopping Street. Which is home a metric ton of arcades with the shops and restaurants. There's also a bunch of museums with really interesting exhibits, or Shochikuza Theatre, which is traditional kabuki theatre." Emiko turns her head to smile at him, "There's also a Universal Studios complete with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen grins and says "We can compare them to some of the real wizards we know." He says with a grin. "I have been to the arcade I think, but I did not visit anything but the arcade." He admits. "I want you to plan the day, I want you to show me the city how you see it."
Emiko Queen	"I mean.. you could get your own wand and robe. Delight children by 'teleporting' around and let them have fun being wizards. I know it's not as awesome as the REAL dragons you've probably fought, but Universal is fun," Emi grins back at him, then blinks. "ALL the arcades? There's more than one there. It's like.. the longest shopping street. And divided by a canal. And even though YOU can break the sound barrier, the game machines can't move that fast!" Then she's chuckling and smiling at him, "I've been to most of the places in the city. I want to do things that would be fun for you. I love history and culture and all that, but I thought maybe we'd do some of the stuff that I wouldn't normally do, because you'd like it." Rising up, she kisses him softly and murmurs, "I want to see the city through YOUR eyes."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen looks to her, and says "Well spending time with you is like the number one fun thing for me, and maybe not all of them but a lot of them, not today but in the past." He explains of the arcades." He hmms and says "We could do the harry potter thing, I did something similar in gotham to scare some punks who were messing with Phoebe. Tried not to let anyone see me use my powers in Gotham, so I posed as a ghost."
Emiko Queen	Emiko's features soften as she gives him a warm smile, leaning in to press her forehead to his, "You are so sweet, Bart Allen. And I love spending time with you. So." She pulls back to smile at him, "Lets check out the aquarium, then. And maybe one of the shrines along the way, and then we'll hit up Universal until it's time to go to the hotel and change for dinner." Kissing him gently, she smiles, "Some of the shrines are actually really interesting. There's one with a mythical lion head surround the entrance. Another that has depictions of both heaven and hell." She grins, "And then we should be in time to see everything switch over from day to evening at Universal. We can visit Diagon Alley and have some fun."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit and says "Sounds like a plan, I thought about marine biology a bit, but If I am dealing with fish or creatures from the sea, I call Aquaman. I frustrated Beatboy as he thought he had figured out an animal I could not get a picture of, and I got aquaman to take the pics for me."
Emiko Queen	Chuckling, Emiko gives a nod and murmurs, "Not gonna lie, when I was like.. 16? I had a HUGE crush on that man. He was so tall and just... the beard and everything. It was a thing. But I grew out of it. Realized that a ton of abs and a great beard don't make for a great boyfriend." She shrug sand smiles up at him, "Someone who's kind and considerate, and thinks of me... that's good boyfriend material." She dots a kiss to his cheek and lays back down.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and says "I got ok abs, I think." He gets up on his knees and flexes a bit for her "But don't know if I could do the beard, I mean I seldom have to shave, I wonder." He hmms and thinks about something. He closes his eyes and concentrates. "Well don't seem I can super speed grow my hair."
Emiko Queen	"You have -great- abs, Bart." Emi tickles along his stomach and winks at him, "And I happen to think you're very good-looking." She watches him for a moment, then laughs, "I would think that would be more of a biokinesis thing than a speed thing. Being able to control the processes of one's own body?" She looks at him, "Though I think you'd look good with a beard."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen says, "Well, I heal really fast, so thought maybe if I thought about it, I could do something about it. When they had to give me the artificial knee, they had to keep me awake during it and hold the place open to keep it from healing before they could get the new new cap in."
Emiko Queen	"You have an artificial knee?" Emiko glances over at Bart, one brow raised and a slight smile on her lips. "You never told me about that."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit and says "A villain caught me with some tranq darts, and in the moment it took to get them out of my system, shot me in the knee and blew my knee out." He explains to her. "Thats actually when I grew up a bit, after the surgery I went and read the library to know more about what was real in the world.
Emiko Queen	"Great injury does have a way of forcing a shift in perspective.." Emiko gives a nod, then looks down at his leg to see if there's a scar around his knee or if his healing factor means no scarring. Glancing back up to him, she smiles, "I'm just glad that you've recovered."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and does not seem to have a scar the tissue healing so fast must have been just to quick to scar. He smiles at her, and says "So, what else would you like to know?" He knees sthill close to her to chat and smile at her.
Emiko Queen	"Hmmmmmmmmm.. what's your favorite food? And favorite place to visit? You can go anywhere, get authentic goods from all over the world... what's your favorite places to go and what do you like to eat?" Emiko shifts in a little closer to Bart, one hand resting on his calf. "I want to know about your likes, your dislikes. Who is your best friend? Tell me about your family... anything and everything you want to tell me."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen hmms and says "Well, probably the meatloaf at this little place in Manchester. It is where I went to early junior high." He tells her "Max and I lived down there." He hmms and says "My best friend, wekk thats hard it is between two people
Emiko Queen	"Then we should go there sometime. I might not get the meatloaf, but I can find something to suit my diet," Emiko smiles at him, then lifts a brow. "Max?" To the last part, she grins, "So then who are the top two?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen says, "Well you have met one of them Tim, and then Conner, he was at the party too, but don't know if you got to meet him, he is the one who took th ebomb outside."
Emiko Queen	"I saw him, but we didn't really get to meet. Maybe we can invite them for pizza or something sometime? Tim is mostly vegetarian, I think? But we can work with that." Emiko smiles at him and lifts a shrug. "I want to be able to hang out with you guys, sometimes, but I still respect your time to spend with your friends separately."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and smiles and says "We can try to set up a time, that would be fun yea, and Max, well he was my first mentor, guardian when I got to this time. He is another speedster from a different time, he is from the old west, and has made leaps through time skipping a lot of years but living in different eras.
Emiko Queen	"Great! Maybe we can set up like... pizza and movie or video games or board games.. whatever you think they would have fun with. There's plenty of four player co-op games." Emiko flashes a grin at him and gives a nod. Then she's listening, smiling, "It must be cool being able to travel through time."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen says, "We maybe could do a double or triple date sometime. " He offers as well. "Well, I have tried not to do to much time travel, worried, I would not be able to get back here if I did. I have even more reason to be here now."
Emiko Queen	"If they have girlfriends, totally! I just figured for like... a first time thing, pizza and games would probably be easier." Emiko flashes a grin at him, "Fewer people to coordinate. And especially when any of the people involved are superheroes, vigilantes, or otherwise masked marauders, scheduling can be hell." She pauses, then reaches up to cup his cheek and pull him down for a kiss, to Hell with social convention. "The obvious answer then would be to just take me with you."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and says "Well girl friends or boy friends." He tells her, after a long kiss back." He leans over her, and says "Well I will have to keep that in mind for sure." He lays down beside her, his body brushing hers as he lays on his side beside her.
Emiko Queen	"Yes. Or boyfriends. Or both! No judgment." Emiko flashes a grin at him. She smiles up at him, one hand at his chest as she looks into his eyes, "I'm just saying... you could take the best part of this time with you." She winks, chuckling at the bit of bragging, then grips his hips for a moment when they're pressed together. Just a moment, between breaths, smiling up at him. Then she's letting go and murmuring, "We should probably head to the aquarium soon."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit and stands up, and offers her a hand up. "They got a place where we can rinse any sand we have on us off?" He asks her, as he starts folding things up and smiling at her
Emiko Queen	Taking his hand, Emi pushes up to her feet and gives a nod. "Should be changing stations and bathrooms, with showers, just up the way a bit. We can clean up, change, and head out." Lacing their fingers together, she heads off with him to the changing stations. Once she's rinsed off and clothed, Emiko emerges and glances around for Bart.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen is of course already there, and he seems dry as well. He is wearing a t-shirt from one of the local venders. Emiko Queen	Laughing at the shirt, she grins at him, "I'm wearing a new shirt too." Its under the hoodie, of course. She takes his hand and smiles, "To the aquarium?" Emiko leaves him to wonder about the new shirt for now, just smiling and saying he'll like it.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and will wander with her arm in arm till they are out of sight of others and them Impulse taxi takes over, and soon they are stopping near the aquarium "So who is their main exhibit?"
Emiko Queen	When they arrive, Emiko grins, looking excited, "I haven't been here in a few years. So, the whole aquarium is built around a huge cross-shaped tank in the middle where the whale sharks are! It's a real journey. We should start at the top in the Forest and go down from there. It takes us through all different areas touching the Pacific Ocean and the various types of animals and fish you'll find there. So there's otters and capybara and puffins, too. It isn't JUST fish and sharks. They even have a whole room devoted to jellyfish."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit and says "Oh neat, well lead the way hon." He moves to put an arm around her, a bit more PDA than most perhaps, but need to stay together in a crowd, and thats the excuse he is useing
Emiko Queen	"It really is. C'mon, we get to go through the fish tunnel first, then we can head to the elevator and start at the top." Emiko leans in against him and pays for the tickets, then leads him inside. As soon as they step through the entryway, they'll be surrounded by an aquarium tunnel those hosts brightly colored fish and a few rays that glide and swim around in a near 360 view. She looks all around as they move through the tunnel, then pulls him off to the side so they can go a pair of elevators. Hitting the button, she glances around and points out a few of the exhibits that can be glimpsed from the front.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and says "I might need to learn to scuba dive." He says as he looks at the animals around them. He hmms a bit and will touch the tank walls, but just to lightly rub his fingers over it not tap it, and then wipes any smudges away.
Emiko Queen	"We might actually be just in time for the last of the daily feedings... and there's the touch pool with some smaller rays and sharks." Emiko flashes a grin at him, then urging him into the elevator. She'll hit the button for the top floor and smile up at him, "We can both learn. One thing I've never done too much of... underwater stuff. I wouldn't mind picking it up."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and pulls her into a hug, and kisses her while they are in the elevator. He takes the moment away from people to hold her close and after a long kiss rests his forehead to hers,
Emiko Queen	Emiko is silenced by the kiss, gladly leaning into it and pulling herself closer, looping her arms around his shoulders. Her lips curving into a soft smile even as they simply stand there in an embrace, foreheads together. She even hits the 'close' button when they reach the top floor, just to get three more seconds. Then she's pulling back with a smile for him, taking his hand and giving a squeeze.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles at her, and lets her lead the way. The young man looks all happy seems spending the say with her is what he needed so much and he is enjoying it.
Emiko Queen	Emiko stays close to him, showing him around the exhibit, pointing out the different species native to Japan, glancing up at him to get some facts about the mammals. Then they're moving down to the next floor, taking the stairs this time. She pulls him into a corner for a lingering kiss, murmuring, "You know, it's late enough now that we could check into a hotel... 3pm is the usual check-in time. Then we can can just... rest in the room until dinner? Maybe watch something or just... have some time together?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and will walk with her through the rest of the exhibit, a bit faster than most, stopping once or twice as something really gets his attention like maybe the otters but soon, they have made their way through it and are on their way to the hotel, again, Bart carrying her.
