Emiko Queen	It's the middle of the night at Gotham zoo, Bart is on his way from checking on Harriet towards the main building when his walkie goes off with a crackle. "Hey Bart, its Ed up at the front gate. There's a girl here saying she's your girlfriend and she brought you lunch?" Ed didn't use a direct line, so this has now gone out to everyone wearing a walkie in the zoo right now. There might be some light chuckles or knowing looks sent his way. Emiko stands out at the front gate where she flagged down a passing guard, smiling and lett him know that she was here to deliver a surprise lunch to her boyfriend Bart. She holds up the takout bag as proof and flashes a grin. In long-sleeved red top with a leather jacket and some black capri leggings and wedge heeled sneakers, she certainly looks the right age to be his girlfriend!
Bart Allen	Bart Allen is not bothered by this. he will ask over the walky "About five foot nothing. black hair, beautiful blue eyes? Looks like she could whoop Tony if he looked at her wrong?" He grins a bit and is already headed towards the front of the zoo. "Gonna take my break while she is here, probably eat over near the cafe." He tells them, and gets there a bit sooner than he should but still in believable time.
Emiko Queen	"Yeah, that's the one! We'll be up by the visitor kiosk." Ed clicks off the walkie and tucks it onto his belt as he unlocks the gate for her and lets Emi in. She smiles at him, "Thanks, I really appreciate this. I was up and around and thought it'd be nice to have lunch with him." Moving towards the visitor kiosk, she waits for him to arrive. THen he's there and she's grining, waving to Ed and moving to go give Bart a light kiss, "Hey! Sorry to be all abrupt, but I thought you'd like to have a hot meal and a kiss." Leaning in, she whispers, "And I have a story for you."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen hugs her and gives her a kiss in return that lets her easily whisper to him. He nods, and says "Cool, you want to eat at the cafe, or would ya prefer to find a spot, where we can eat and you can watch some of the animals?"
Emiko Queen	Emiko smiles, taking his hand. "...can we eat by the bears? I know they're probably sleeping, but sometimes they wander out at night." She turns a hopeful look up towards him.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit and will say sure." He looks to see what she brought the food in and will ask "Got a blanket for us to sit on, or want me to go grab one?" He asks, as he leads her towards the bears, some of the night animals can be heard along the way and he takes a route with less cameras out of habit.
Emiko Queen	"I didn't bring one with me, I wasn't too sure if they'd even let me in to have lunch with you." Emi offers a shrug and a sheepish smile, already making mental notes for the next time. She leans up to smooch his cheek and murmurs, "They're here all night, yeah?" SHe means the guards.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit and says "Yea, they are but they do have predictable movements, changes ever couple weeks but if you watch it for a few days or know someone on the inside." He says and smiles once they are in a camera dark area, he does the whole speed thing and is back with a blanket, and a bag of odds and ends they might need. He then leads her into a back room where they can watch the bears like the zee tenders do.
Emiko Queen	Emiko chuckles as he zips off and returns before she can blink. Following him to one of the back rooms, she lets him spread the blanket while she sets out the food. Its homestyle food tonight. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans. Peach cobbler dessert. She even grabbed a two-liter for him. "Its not the place you were telling me about, I don't think. But they have really good reviews for their home cooking." For herself, she got baked salmon with a large side salad, and she swipes some of the green beans.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and nods his head a bit to this and will sit down beside her and lean in to kiss her cheek "Thank you for thinking about me." He tells her, and will offer to share any of his she wants, even if she just wants a taste or all of it."
Emiko Queen	Emiko takes small tastes from his plate and offers tastes from her own, smiling across at him. "Of course." Holding the story until they're largely through the meal, using that time to cath him up on the day's happenings, what she was up to, what he was upto. THen she's taking a drink of water and smiling across at him. "I met Batman tonight."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen 's brow raises a bit at this but will simply ask "Good meeting or bad meeting?" He has met the Bat and while most of his meetings have been good, he has heard many a tale of others meetings. He does look her over and she does not looked harmed, and he spots no obvious bugs.
Emiko Queen	"Actually... for him? I'd say it went -really- well. I would've been here sooner, but I spotted some gang-looking guys trying to break into that Fun Land place? So I changed and went after them. Turns out, He did too." Emiko lifts a shrug and flashes a grin, "So I got to bust bad guys with the Bat. And he's going to look over some of my designs for new arrows."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit to this and seems impressed. "He did not give you the get out of Gotham speech?" You must have impressed him." He grins and reaches over to rub his hand along her back "I got the get out speech a few but never stuck."
Emiko Queen	"Nope, not even a little. He just asked me what I was doing there, I told him I was following the gang guys and that I'd answer any questions once they were caught. So we went and kicked some ass. Told him I wasn't moving in, just bringing lunch to my boyfriend when I saw those guys breaking in. Figured I'd lend a hand in case he was hung up on one of the bigger bad guys." Emiko lifts a shrug and smiles at him, "Maybe he was more accepting because I'm more like him? No powers, just a buttload of training and discipline?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and says "Possible yea he does not like powers used, I think he thinks it will bring more powered villains. I told you about when I pretended to be a ghost while helping out here? Another time, I went in while it was all smoky kicked but, and then got out of the way and with a powerful flash light and action figures made them think it was Batman who did it.
Emiko Queen	Grining, Emiko leans in to nudge against him, "You're so clever Bart. Finding ways to help out without just... being yourself." Resting her head on his shoulder, she curves a smile, "I'm glad you got to meet Ollie. He really is the best. I couldn't ask for a better brother."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and says "He seems like a good guy, I have always heard he was a decent hero type, sometimes a bit of a pain but I hear the same thing when people talk about me, so who knows." He grins at her and eats a bit more, as they sit talking.
Emiko Queen	"I mean, I'm sure he -can- be... but I'm sure most of us -can- be. It's just, you know, catching people at the wrong time." Emiko lifts a shrug and smiles up at him, urging him down for a quick kiss, "And I don't think you're a pain even a little bit."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen kisses her back, and rubs her back as he holds her. One of the bears stirs a bit and he makes sure to show her where it is.
Emiko Queen	Cuddling up next to him, Emi is delighted to see one of the bears moving around, watching it for long moments as she rests her head on his shoulder. "I should do this more often. Surprise you at work. Bring lunch. Steal kisses."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen grins a bit and says "Well I don't know if your stealing them." He tells her. He hmms and since the bear seems to be waking up for a moment, he will stand up and goes over to a fridge and pulls out a large fish. He motions Emiko to come over to him. He opens a small feed window and the bear starts to come over to them.
Emiko Queen	Grining, Emiko winks at him, "Fair point. Enjoying kisses." THen he's getting a fish from the fridge and her eyes widen. ROlling up to her feet, she creeps silently towards the window to watch as the bear approaches. Breath held in anticipation of having it get this close. Part of her wishes she could reach out and touch it, but she knows better.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen will hand her the fish and says "Here hold it right here" He offers her the fish and says Don't move past here but you can feed him from here, and get to be somewhat closer to him.
Emiko Queen	She has to press her lips to hold back the tiny squee that threatens to escape when he offers to let her feed the bear. Nodding quickly, she takes the fish and stations herself exactly where he's told her to, holding to fish out towards the bear, watching it's approach with wide eyes and bated breath.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen watches as the bear comes up and she can feel it's breath on her hand as it takes the fish. It will stay nearby and eats the fishing looking over at Emiko and as it finishes it will shrugs a bit and move back to lay down.
Emiko Queen	Emiko remains utterly motionless as the bear takes the fish from her and moves off to eat it. Biting her lower lip, she grins when it watches her, clearly loving every moment of the experience. Though it's clearly nothing to the bear, it's everything to her. And when the bear turns away, she flings herself into Bart's arms and kisses him. "That was amazing. Thank you.."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and holds her close, his arms wraps around her and says "I will have to see if I can arrange for you to be around when we have to tranq them for their exams. They would be asleep but you might get a chance to tough them maybe even help us move them to a table and such.
Emiko Queen	Drawing in a swift breath, sheer delight crosses her features. "Could I? It would be an honor to assist... I would love the chance to be so close to them... to learn more about them." She squeezes him tightly and smiles up at him, "Bart.. thank you. This has been the best. And here I was trying to do something for -you-." She offers a smile, "Clearly I need to up my game."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen chuckles a bit and says "I can not promise, I will have to talk to the doctors, here, and they may want you to put some time in as a volunteer working with some of the smaller animals and such here to see how you interact with them and such.
Emiko Queen	Grinning, she gives a quick nod, "It would be worth it. I'd love to. I want to know more about what you do here, and I'd love to volunteer some hours helping out."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and says "Well I am sure they will take the help, it is how I started voluntered a bit but ended up getting the job when I agreed to take night shift and helping clean up after the animals.
