Owner Pose
Peggy Carter Moving was hard. Harder than she expected it to be, even if she knows it's going to be better in the long run. They can go home to sleep every night. They'll be close with the baby. There's a bit more room for everyone. They did bring much of their own, old fashioned furniture and their own bed from the other house for the sheer fact that Peggy wanted it. She needed pieces of home. She doesn't cry easily, but the pregnancy hormones are in full swing and she's cried probably three times over the entire mess of getting all the important parts of their life into the house, picking out new furniture, and finally trying to settle in. She's also bone tired exhausted.

tTherefore, it's Friday night, barely dinner time, and she's fallen asleep on their new couch in the sprawling, lovely new living room. They both left the Triskelion at five on the dot, no work to keep them late, and it's only a 20 minute drive home. She changed and said she was just going to get comfortable for a bit, but that turned into a good 45 minute nap. At least the new couch is definitely comfortable. She's in her house clothing, a pair of warm flannel pants she's stolen from him which comfortably fit over her now noticably rounding stomach, and a long comfortable soft shirt.
Daniel Sousa Daniel liked to think of himself as someone who lived just fine without a lot of stuff, he grew up during The Depression after all, but nothing disabused him of that notion more than moving. It was endless, box after box of things he had to have in their new home. It had been a pain to move it all but it's worth it to have the momentos and little homey touches carrying on to their new place.

Setting down the jar of spent bullets on the mantle, Daniel makes his way to his wife's side before slipping down on the couch beside her with a fond smile. "Hey Peg," he calls softly as he leans over to kiss her forehead. "Anyone ever tell you you're adorable when you pass out like that?" he asks her knowing that 'A' word will get a rise out of her if nothing else.
Peggy Carter A little groan escapes her lips as she rolls gently over onto her side, peeking a tired eye open at him. "I told you... I was just resting my eyes. And I'm not adorable." She grumbles, teasingly, as she has a feeling he used that word quite on purpose but it has also done it's job. Peggy's nose wrinkles gently at him, but she does smile and close her eyes as he kisses her forehead. She reaches one hand up, lacing her fingertips through his and bringing his palm down to rest against her belly.
Daniel Sousa Daniel grins boyishly at her grumbled complaints. This is an old game for them both. Drawing back after kissing her forehead he happily surrenders his hand to Peggy's and smiles as she rests it against her belly. "How's she doing? Still trying out for the Olympic Women's soccer team in there?" he asks with a fond smile. This part was always a little bit frustrating knowing Peggy can feel their child moving but not quite at the point he could. Still it didn't make the moment less special. "And for the record you are *definitely* adorable but it doesn't make you any less of a spy."
Peggy Carter "I don't know if we're quite at soccer yet, but she *or he* is getting into the old pattern of waking up the moment I lay down. Hell... that's half the reason I was laying here, seeing if maybe the baby would wake up enough for you to feel. I suppose I shut my eyes a... bit longer than intended, though." It will probably be another week or two, but Peggy knows that it's coming. She keeps her hand over his, against where she's feeling those little flutters in hopes that maybe, just maybe, he might get a hint of what is to come. "And I am not adorable. I am stern and intimidating. And... somewhat round." She knew she's get rounder. She should be enjoying these months, it only gets harder from here.
Daniel Sousa "Or he" Daniel dutifully parrots, he was hoping for a girl, there was no hiding that. "Don't worry not going to love them any less if they're a boy, we might need to dream up a new name for him if so, we used our one and only pick already," he tells her with a smile. It was no crisis clearly, just something on his mind. ""Stern, intimidating, round, got it Chief," he says adopting a business like tone for a moment, unable to keep the smile from his lips while he does it. "I'll write that down so I don't forget."
Peggy Carter "You really think this baby is a girl, don't you?" Peggy asks with a throaty, tired little laugh. She's just as amused by that as she is charmed, not really certain why he's got it in his head as such, but not complaining. She just has to keep reminding him they didn't know. Peggy then slowly rolls back onto her back, her hip brushing against his as she settles into the back of the couch. Her hand shifts where his is on her stomach, trying again hopefully, but probably without luck. "Still nothing?... Soon, love. I promise. She *or he* is certainly awake. And now I am too. What are we thinking for dinner? Did I sleep right through it?"
Daniel Sousa "Just a hunch," Daniel says with a smile. "But it's a strong one, don't know why," though the slight downwards turn of his lips for a moment speaks to what it might be, their girls from the Framework, the ones that never were, in a way a girl would be getting some of that back. "Missed it but I waited for you, I can throw something simple together for us, what are you feeling like?"
