Owner Pose
Elektra Natchios They have lost their pursuers. And June may have learned some valuable lessons on how to drive shift under pressure. The rest of the trip goes without too much incident, mostly a leisure trip through Kyoto on the way to their meeting with the Hand.

Where Madame Gao awaits.

They change neighborhoods, now on a more rich one, and eventually they come to a stop near a large, opulent house. It looks like a traditional Japanese home, rather old fashioned, lanterns lighting the walkway and a pair of men waiting for the duo. One approaches and opens the passenger door where Elektra is, some leftovers of the broken window falling down to the ground. The japanese bows his head in a polite manner and begins talking in Japanese, tone respectful. It's lengthy, sometimes Elektra's name being spoken in a "Elektra-sama" manner. She also replies in Japanese, getting out of the car and gesturing for June to do the same.

"They are waiting for us already."
June Connor     June exits the car unceremoniously, taking a hand and making her exotic hair style at least lay flat for the moment. Every bit the stereotype of Americans that the Hand may have. "I'm guessin' they aren't apologizing," she mutters in a low voice as she rounds the car to stand next to Elektra. "See, if I had my way, we woulda just burned these fuckers to the ground in their own fancy-ass house. Let'm ninja their way outta that," she says under her breath.
Elektra Natchios Elektra lets out a chuckle when June says those last words. A sharp one at that. "All in due time. We play nice for now." she warns June, taking a step away from the car and then gesturing towards the japanese man near them. A few more words in Japanese and then the man turns to begin leading the way inside.

"Throwing accusations like you are doing is just what Gao would want." she tells the young Hand member, "We have no proof after all." she smiles faintly at June, "We also didn't bring any bombs." because how else would you burn some fuckers to the ground? A smirk on her lips and she continues on.

The man leading the way opens the doors and lets them in, Elektra taking out her shoes and then gesturing for June to do the same. Once they are both barefoot it's time to go further in, beginning to walk past long corridors with closed shogi doors. All the way past an inner garden and finally towards a pair of large doors. The man bows and retreats, leaving them two alone.
June Connor     June's sneer afixes itself to her face seemingly permanently as she passes through the door. She watches as Elektra takes off her shoes, gives a sigh of resignation, and follows suit, stepping on the heels of her shoes to pull her feet out of them in turn. And then she pulls off her socks, which is probably better for everyone, her feet stink. Small victories.

When the man bows, June partly bows in return, as if not sure if he's someone she's supposed to bow to in all these rules or not, glancing in Elektra's direction for a reminder. When they are alone, she comments on the arson again. "Dude, you don't need bombs to burn a place. You use gas lines or drench the outside of the place in diesel." Everybody knows that. "Then they can't get out."
Elektra Natchios "You are really telling me that your idea of defeating these people would be to go around drenching the walls with a gas can and then set it on fire? An actual hideout of the Hand? Where some rather important people are supposed to be?" Elektra asks it with a mix of curiosity and amusement, a brow arching at June, "Because if so I believe I have taught you better than that." she shakes her head and then steps forward to the double doors. Hands rest against it and then she *pushes*, making the doors slowly open. Once they are finally in it's visible a large room in near darkness, just some lights in the corners providing a blood red hue to the room. Sillouettes are visible just on the outskirts of the light, observing in silent. Further ahead there's a dais where five figures are sitting at, all with masks that show nothing of their faces. Sitting a step below is Madame Gao who narrows her eyes towards Elektra and then June before smiling just like an old grandma would.

Elektra begins to approach.
June Connor     The tone that Elektra gives her causes hesitation. "Uh, yes? Dead people don't try to kill me." June may learn techniques quickly enough, but mindest? She's a little harder to teach in that respect.

As the doors press open, June's green eyes shift back and forth at the figures. She has comments to make, but for the moment she has enough wisdom to hold her tongue. Instead she chews on her tongue ring a little, the clack of the metal between her teeth breaking the silence ever so slightly.
