Selene Corvinus	After Selene had gotten back in touch with Elektra upon her return, she'd gotten a location of where to meet her. The Vampire set out on her motorcycle, did a pit stop to get Elektra her favorite coffe, and then continued on to the apartment. Their foes were still in hiding, what their purpose for this was unknown, but more feelers had gone out to try and push them to ground again. Selene had / has a daughter out there, something she didn't even know. Lots of questions, not enough answers... The door to the penthouse apartment opens up, and the Vampire strides in, her leather longcoat swaying around her hips as she carries the coffe inside. She starts to shrug that long black leather coat off her shoulders, only to lay it across the counter. She sets her phone and the cup of Coffe down beside it. "I brought you a gift. I hope its still warm." She announces to wherever the other woman may be!
Elektra Natchios	It had been a few weeks of no contact. Just gone one day. At least Elektra *had* left a note... "Gone to Japan. I will call you when I get back." Did Elektra expect to stay away for so long? Maybe not but it doesn't mean she had said anything in the meantime. Only a single message a night ago for them to meet at the 'small' penthouse. Selene knew where she'd be. Elektra is standing with her back to the entrance, in the living room, a glimpse of dark skin still able to be seen as she is just slipping into a tight sweater. "Gifts?" her familiar voice heard, full of that usual amusement of hers, "I thought I was the one that should be bringing gifts, considering how long I have been without saying anything.." There is a fresh scent to the house, the woman's hair damp. Most likely from a shower not long ago. She turns, stepping from behind the couch to face Selene and begins to approach her, "But maybe I did bring you something.." she teases. Her dark eyes find Selene's and she begins walking towards her, "I have missed you."
Selene Corvinus	Without the coat on, Selene is standing there in that black bodysuit with the leather corset, a look she often wears when she's out on the hunt. It likely means she's been doing just that, simply settling back in to her 'old ways' since Elektra had left. "Well..." She replies to Elektra in her smooth, and sultry toned voice as she raises up the cup of coffee, and starts to walk toward her. She smiles then, and extends the cup. "I can't say it's much. But, needless to say, I was eager to get here... and see how you are." She says as her brown eyes go up and down Elektra's form. "You seem to be in good shape." She says then with a grin as she nods her head very slightly just once. "I'm glad to see you..." She says that last part at nearly a whisper level. "Part of me ... well ... assumed the absurdity of my life had made you run off, for good."
Elektra Natchios	The stride is quick, Elektra's hand reaching for the coffee cup that Selene is offering her and unceremoniously setting it aside on a nearby table without taking her eyes off the other woman. Because her attention is elsewhere. And so are her intentions. She steps in right into Selene's personal space. Intimate. Dangerous eyes meeting Selene's own. There is longing there, relief on seeing Selene well even if she doesn't verbalize it. Hands reach up to cup the vampire's face, the warmth of her body contrasting with Selene's colder one. "And in one piece for a change." Elektra whispers before her grin finally reaches her eyes and she leans in towards the other woman..., "I couldn't wait to see you again.." ... Lips finally meet in a kiss that grows in intensity, body pressing to Sel's in a way that shows she certainly hasn't been ran off by her. It's perhaps her way of murdering that part of Selene that was assuming she had made Elektra run off. Elektra is a great assassin after all.
Selene Corvinus	Selene didn't want to make any assumptions about any of this. So she just stood there and watched as Eleketra made the first move. She responds to it with a smile that Elektra has seen all too often, not overly strong, just a hint. Her hands go up to the back of the other woman's elbows as she feels her take hold of her face. She leans forward then and meets her kiss in response. Her hands linger on the back of Elektra's arms, then drop down to her sides, then move down to her hips. She works her lips against the other woman's own, before she takes a moment and speaks through it. "I guess I was wrong." She says with muffled words as her lips are pre-occupied now. But when they do cease the lovely lovely kissing, the Vampire leans her cool forehead against the other's warmer own. "So I take it Japan wasn't very enthralling this time?" She lightly jests as she strokes Elektra's sides with both of her hands, up and down, feeling her curves through her clothes.
Elektra Natchios	"Very wrong.." Elektra assures Selene through a few breaks in the kisses. Not that she allows for many breaks, being all passion and making sure to slay any longing she's felt in these weeks they have not seen one another by way of a deep kiss. Eventually she does break it up even if they remain close, foreheads together in the gloom, the place dark but for the moon light coming in through the large windows in the living room. "Japan was ..." Elektra pauses to consider it, tone gaining a touch of sharpness when she says the next words, "It's a close chapter." the way she says it open to quite a few interpretations. "Yet I wasn't jesting when I said I did bring you gifts. But all in due time.." Fingertips reach up to brush some dark hair out of Selene's face, "And you? How have you been holding up with ..., all that's been happening?" There's certainly regret on her tone even if she doesn't apologize for having been away for such a long time. If anything she seems to assume Selene understands when there's ..business.. to take care of that can't be delayed.
Selene Corvinus	Selene may understand someone having to pick up suddenly, and flee, for business, more than anyone else in the world. She's been doing such things for over 600 years now. Secretive, mysterious even. It's the way of things for these two would-be assassins, who'd somehow managed to find each other in this world. They share a lot in common, which is why they've been so good together. As Elektra replies, Selene just places light kisses along the left side of her face, while she continues to stroke at the other's sides. She listens, intently. When she pulls back again, she shows another ghostly grin. "I have a daughter. Who, I guess, loathes me... for reasons I still yet know. She's with the leader of the army that I've been fighting for ... a very long time, and together they are?" She laughs a little. "I don't even know. 'Coping' is the modern word for how I am, I guess." She says as she lets her hands cup the sides of Elektra's chest, just under her arms. "Better, now that you're back.." She continues then. "Alexander has been helping me still. He's quite loyal. I'm surprised by it. I thought he would've... well, yes. He's still helping."
Elektra Natchios	While Selene's hands go to rest on Elektra's chest the assassin's arms slip around Selene's shoulders, keeping them close in that intimate way of theirs, together in the dark, eyes gleaming as she listens, lips pressed to a line. "Someone is lying in all of this. Either Lucian, or Kraven. Maybe both." her smile shows teeth, "We'll get to the bottom of this, I will help you." she tells the other woman, returning the light kisses the vampire is doing along the side of her face by eventually resting her cheek against the woman's cheek, relaxed. "I won't let you be alone in this." her tone committed. The talk about Alexander has Elektra nod slowly, "He's young, no matter how much he may want to tell you otherwise. But he has heart, and he is not one to break deals." One of her hands goes down into a pocket a moment later and she brings out a small plaque. Flat and made of some dark metal. Etched in it is a kabuto helmet, clearly japanese, "This is a good luck charm." she tells her, "A gift I brought for you. It symbolizes good health and safety for children, I thought you would like to have it." she presses it onto Selene's hand, forehead again resting against Selene's.
Selene Corvinus	Selene's eyes fall down to the gift as it is lightly pressed in to her hands. She works it up to her fingertips so that she can turn it around a little, gathering ambient light across its surface. She looks back up to Elektra then, and grins at her again, her other hand coming up to press against the other woman's cheek. "I love you." She says then with a sincerity to her words, not being one to say such things lightly. She leans in again to place another kiss to Elek's lips.
