Bart Allen	Saturday morning, after a night of mostly uneventful patrolling Bart made plans to surprise Emiko. He has gathered supplies for a bit of a hike, but also some other surprises along the way. So, first thing in the morning he is over at Emiko's having already fed Huggins and Muninns he is now working on making breakfast foe Emiko. The smell of fresh bacon cooking filling the place.
Emiko Queen	Emiko awakens to two sets of paws walking back and forth across her form, chuckling at the antics of the cats in their attempts to get her up out of bed. "Okay, okay, I'm up. Is it breakfast time already? Smells like someone is hard at work in the kitchen. Shall we go say hello?" She snuggles the kittens briefly then slips from the bed and into a robe, belting it as she exits her room. "Well! Something sure smells good. If this is a robbery, I wish they were all so nice as to leave me breakfast..."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen shakes his head with a grin and says "Nope a kidnapping." He offers her a grin. He does zoom over kissing her on the cheek hugging her a moment, and then heads back to the kitchen to finish dishing up the food, and says "Thought we might go on a bit of an outing."
Emiko Queen	Chuckling at the fast hug and kiss, Emi returns both before he's zipping away to finish the food. She heads over at a more normal pace and slips onto one of the stools set at the breakfast bar that separates kitchen and living space. Smiling at him, she murmurs, "You look good in the kitchen. I mean, you look good everywhere, but you look.. at home." Lifting both brows, she chuckles, "Love to! How should I dress?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and says "Well, I like doing things for you, so cooking breakfast counts." He grins at her, and starts dishing up a plate for her, and a heaping plate for himself. "Well comfortable clothes, you can move in, maybe a light jacket just in case it gets chilly, but should not be to bad, and shoes you can walk a good bit in."
Emiko Queen	"Mmmmmmmm, we have that in common... we both like doing things for each other," she winks at him and takes the plate, digging in with enthusiasm. She gives a quick nod, swallowing a bite of food and smiling, "So dress for a nature walk or something? I can do that. Oh! How are classes going? I did end up getting an A on that test you helped me study for." She pauses to flash a grin at him.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles as he eats and says "Pretty good, I mean once I read the stuff it is there, so most of the classes aren't to hard. I did get a B+ on one of my English essays, it was supposed to be a story about a fantasy world, I wrote a bit about one of the Outsider's adventures early on. She said it was good but I had went a bit far to make it believable. " He grins at her.
Emiko Queen	Laughing lightly, Emi shakes her head, "That's still cheating. That isn't a fantasy world if you actually -went- there." Winking, she finishes up her food quickly, making sure to rinse her plate and put it all in the dishwasher. Bart gets a kiss to his cheek as she smiles, "Fifteen minutes and I'll be ready to go." Heading back into her room, she hops in the shower quickly, scrubbing down. She brushes her teeth, dries her hair, then quickly pulls on a good outfit for hiking around. On coming back out, she flips on the tv and sets it to some 'cat tv', a nature program showing someone's backyard and the various wildlife that interacts in it. Giving each of the kittens a cuddle, she turns to Bart and smiles, "Ready."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen goes and takes a shower, makes sure his apartment is clean and the animals are all fed. He makes a quick circuit of the zoo, checking on the animals there, he might be off today but he does care about them. He picks up a couple books at the library, and when she comes back into the living room, he has four books beside him and is finishing the fifth "Ready?" He asks
Emiko Queen	Glancing at the books, she chuckles, "Show off. Okay! Lets zoom!" Moving towards him, Emi lifts both brows, "Are we taking the Impulse Express today or should we head down and get the bike?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen hmms and says "Well, I figured the quicker way, if we find we need the bike I will come get it tie it to the rickshaw and bring it up." He puts on a backpack that is pretty full of stuff, and moves to scoop her up in his arms smiling at her.
Emiko Queen	Laughing lightly, Emi shakes her head, "That bike is not meant to move at those speeds, hon. If we need transport while we're out, I can just call us a car... or send for the helicopter." She snuggles in against him, arms around his neck and smiling up at him, "But now you have me curious, so let's go!"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen grins and off they go. The city is left behind in moments, and then they are finding themselves in more and more wooden areas, till he comes to a stop at a field on the edge of a wilderness, there is a dirt road leading up to the field. "I thought we might check out some of the possible sites today."
Emiko Queen	It's always a rush to ride along with Bart, moving at his speed, getting to experience the world like he does. So when he takes them to a field and sets her down, she's a bit bir curious, looking to him with lifted brows. But then he explains, and Emiko smiles brightly, "Yes! Yes that sounds amazing. Okay. So is this the first site?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods his head a bit and says "Yea, was a farm here back a while back, but it got tore down, nothing new has been built here in a while. May have to get the electric poles and such checked out. I think it is a well water system out here."
Emiko Queen	"Well I can certainly afford to ensure everything is up to date and up to code as required. Farm is good, that means it was likely zoned for livestock, so we may not have to seek separate permissions if we get any. People keep the craziest things in the city. Horses, goats, chickens..." She chuckles and shakes her head, then glances around. "This is good. Do you know how big the plot is?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and gives her the range, it is a couple acres of land, and even has a small pond on it . "I was not sure if we would want to bring out the power lines or try to set up an alternate power source. Solar, wind, something from our more big brained friends or what not.
Emiko Queen	"We should check with GIRL. See if they have anything going in clean energy that we could utilize. It could get them some good press, too." Emiko nods to Bart with a grin, turning back to look over the land, "Sounds like a good start. Lets check out the next site so we don't just immediately jump on the first one we find."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and says "You want to walk the land here to get an idea of it, or want to see all the places and then decide which ones you want to see more of?
Emiko Queen	"Lets see all the places first and THEN walk around the ones we're interested in. I don't want to waste our time looking at a plot we aren't going to want." Emiko smiles up at him, pulling him down for a quick kiss. "Are any of them seaside by chance?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen makes a soso motion and says "There is one or two, but those are a bit smaller, was thinking more them as a secondary spot, once we have the main one going." He will pick her up, and takes her checking out a few places, once has an old abandon prison on the grounds, one s house. "Now there is one, I thought about but it is not in new york."
Emiko Queen	"That's fair, though I do want to have a location on the shore so we can have a dock and take in any animals hurt at sea or along the coast. Those I expect will mostly be treat and release." Emi smiles at him once more, then lifts a brow, "Is it in New Jersey?" The prison one was interesting but discarded for having been a prison. Not the sort of impression they want to give.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen looks over and says "One in Canada, and the one a bit south." He pulls his phone out and it seems a new place has triggered on his searches "HEy I have not checked this one out, want to together?" Emiko Queen	"Canada is going to have different laws and we might have to do a lot more work to bsae it there." Emiko purses up her lips, considering it even as he pulls up the newest find. When she looks at his phone, her eyes widen and she grins, "Yes! We need to go there NOW. That sounds PERFECT. Over 250 acres mainland, PLUS almost a hundred acres of the surrounding water, AND the island itself? We could restore some of the old fort and make a small town on the island just for the folk that work there! They can still go to the mainland if they want, but this way they can just keep to the island for most of their needs if they choose..."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and will scoop her up, after handing her his phone. "Ok push the two side buttons and bottom corner." It will bring up a GPS, that will read off in a much quicker manner than most GPS, but Bart can make it out and only has to stop a few times to let it catch up before they find themselves standing on the fort itself.
Emiko Queen	Emiko does as asked, then holds on for the run. She chuckles that they still have to stop a few times so the GPS can catch up to them, but then they're there and she's looking around with wide eyes. "This is farther north than I'd intended, but that's maybe not a bad thing. It means that they'll be farther away from the danger and the remote nature will let them live quietly." She smiles, "And it already comes gated, and I love that there's the remains of a fort here."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and nods his head a bit to this and says "With the fort, could even do the whole secret lair under it if we wanted to, but also can see wanting to keep the superhero stuff as far away as we can.
Emiko Queen	"I mean... we can make a bunker underground for everyone... and then keep a piece of it separate with it's own entrances so we can have like... a satellite outpost for the Titans there. That way people can have a spare costume, ammo, whatever else. Just in case." Emiko shrugs and smiles at him, "I'm practical, I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to keep a bit of space aside for ourselves."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen grins and holds her close to him, and says "So, should we walk this one about or have you done decided?" He asks with a smile.
Emiko Queen	Emiko laughs and pulls him in for a kiss, "Let's walk it JUST to be sure, but I'm pretty sure this is going to be the first location."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and will move to put his arm around her, and they take their time exploring the island "We will need to get a boat, will you teach me to drive a boat? Oh and the helicopter you mentioned earlier, maybe it too. I know I don't really need to drive but neat to know how.
Emiko Queen	"I can teach you to drive anything you want to learn. I definitely want a helipad on the island for the people, and one of the mainland for animals. Actually, with all the land there, we could put in a small runway. Get small aircraft in case of emergencies." Emiko leans in against him as they trek around the island. "A boat is easy. The helicopter is trickier, but really it's just spatial awareness and responding to the controls appropriately."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and says "Yea, I can sorta fly, but not a lot of control, and not the best for whats under me." He admits. He grins as they walk along and hmms "Wonder if there any bears out here naturally."
Emiko Queen	"Possibly. This land buts up onto a nature preserve, so there's likely going to be a lot of wildlife in the surrounding area. We'll make sure there's a small 'ranger' force with tranq guns... just making sure that no predators get at the animals." Emi smiles up at him. She glances out towards the water and chuckles, "You can also run across water, but you still want to learn to drive a boat. It's good to expand your horizons."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and says "Also if ever need to help without showing who I am they can come in handy." He walks along and as they have been walking and talking a while, they come to a clearing "Want to have lunch?"
Emiko Queen	"Also true! I get to be the rich girl that flies in on the Concord anyways. It makes sense for a bored rich girl to learn these things. And then you'll have an excuse since your rich girlfriend taught you!" Emiko laughs lightly as they meander about. Giving a nod, she smiles, "Lunch sounds great."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and pulls the pack off, and he has a blanket, and some stable foods, he brought for the picnic he lays out for her. He actually planned instead of just banking on running off and getting stuff at the spur of the moment.
Emiko Queen	Emiko helps spread out the blanket, then settles in, laughing as he pulls things out of the pack. "Look at you, all prepared this time! What did you bring? OH! Are there sandwiches? And chips?" She starts sorting through the food, then leans in and kisses his cheek. "Best boyfriend ever."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen smiles and says "Yup." He even pulls out a small like 6 can cooler, that has 4 canned drinks and some condiments for the sandwich so it stayed cold.
