Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie has been thinking about cars, and the fact he helped Paige get a decent little one, so he has started looking through craigslist to see if he sees something tabby might like. The nice thing about the mansion with the garage and folks here getting a car up and running sometimes better than new aint to hard.
Tabitha Smith	The thing about hanging out in New York City is that even by train it is still an hours commute south is and through Yonkers along the way. Not all that fun and crowded. So naturtally when it's brought up Tabby is all for finding a cheap bomb of a vehicle. So peeking over Sam's shoulder when he's looking over listings. "That looks nice! That one looks like ass. Nice, lame, lame, nice!" she considers with a grin.
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie chuckles and will write down the ones she likes, occasionally adding in "You would have to work 80 hours at the bar to pay for gas for that lead sled." He continues through the ones and says "And that one is almost the price of a new car." He does smile as they go through them "So what are the needs in the car ya want?"
Tabitha Smith	"Well while I don't plan on being a chauffeur. I'm expecting to end up hauling folks around between here and Marble Hill or Spuyten. That or load up gear for supply and shopping runs. So I'm thinking van. Kinda like what you had but way more awesome." Tabby states. Adjusting her glasses on her nose. "Gotta have some decent suspension. You've seen what happens when Jimmy and Piotr ride together! So I'd figure built for offroad even if it never sees mud again." she states and chuckles. All that solid muscle not fun on a spring. "It'll totaly see mud. We're Southerners, we're taking it off road or I'll eat all my Daisy Dukes!"
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie chuckles a bit to this and nods. He narrows down the search a bit and says "I know what ya need but we would have to hit Berto up to get it." He brings up a pic "A unimog, but with some custom work done on it." He chuckles showing her one.
Tabitha Smith	"That might be a bit too much. A Unimog might make folks think we're invading somewhere. Plus I wanna fit through a drive through window. And a smaller mercedes van looks like we're gonna be on a surveillance detail!" Tabby says and reaches over to swipe a finger over the screen and call up other listings of more conventional vans. This is when it catches her eye, they almost glow behind her glasses. "That, that, that, that right there!" she says in awe like she's about to start a Gregorian chant. A 1992 Mitsubishi Delica. Offroad and Four Wheel Drive. Snorkel, roof rack. Bull bar bumper. "It's perfect!" she says with a hunger that Sam has usually only seen Tabitha apply to people or a hazelnut latte.
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie chuckles and nods his head a bit to this and says "Ok, lets look at the listing more, and see how much they want for it, and if we can go look at it and check it out see if anything is wrong with it." He will bring it up to let her look at it moving over to give her a bit more room to look.
Tabitha Smith	"Oooh, it's even in our colors. We can fly the flag and look like we're not flying the New Mutant flag!" Tabby states and moves around so she can not over crowd the man. A Tabitha skill that has it's uses. "Soo hmm. Eighteen, grand, Albany. Bit beat up. Might be able to negotiate that down. And Beto might be good for a loan. He's fine on sporadic repayments as long as I let him know while dressed in something low cut." she says with a chuckle. "And we can get the kids in shopclass to give it a going over and make sure it's road worthy!"
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Yea, he is always trying to offer to loan me stuff, but I don't have to wear the low cut stuff at least. He had Paige help when he picked out the truck. Might be able to help with a bit of it myself if you need it.
Tabitha Smith	"Well It is Roberto Da Costa. I could perch on that bull bar in a bikini and send him a picture and he'd just let me have it out right. Paige might not have realised that when they were shopping for the truck." The blonde woman says with achuckle. "But eighteenish grand is probably not as big a dent on the wallet as what you're paying. Not like I have that much overhead on expenses. Most of what I make at Harry's when I can work just ends up getting saved. No rent, utilities, food. Booze. Benefits of being an X-Person. I just occasionally have to replace clothes." She lost her favorite bolero jacket in DC. "And I am nothing if not a prodicgy at thrift shopping." she states. While dressed in one of her Tennis Dress styled uniforms.
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie nods and says "Trust me, I have to talk Alexis in to letting me help with the bills, her family aint Da Costa rich but her grandparents own a very respected vineyard in italy.
Tabitha Smith	"I get it. It's a hell of a thing going from having to step up and look after your family, to finding out you got into a relationship with money. You're not a goldbricking bum Sam. You got that provider instinct." Tabby says and nudges a shoulder into the Kentuckian. "High life ain't always as enjoyable when you're happy with something more grounded."
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie smiles a bit and says "We are making it work, I still need to take her to meet Stevie sometime. Alexis has me down doing Ballet sometimes, to help show boys can do it too
Tabitha Smith	"It's a good idea. Girls love a guy that can dance and pro dancers have some serious strength. How many time you held us over head in practice. Show 'em some of them power moves and stuff." Tabby encourages as she pulls her phone to take down the details of what is clearly her eight seater dream van. "Add some back flips and catches. Just don't play Footloose for them. I love the movie. The real one. But even the remake is too old to be taken seriously."
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie chuckles a bit and nods his head a bit to this and says "Figure out what custom stuff ya want done." He does bring up a few pictures of a standard version of the van so she knows what she has to deal with space wise and such.
Tabitha Smith	"Well..." Tabby adds the listing for the standarder Delica. "I have a few ideas for the kids. Or possiblly Forge to teach and wrangle the kids. The future baby is our goal. But a few things to add even then is probably wise. New stereo. Maybe a clean energy solution for the motor? Hover conversion might be a bit much unless we can find enough parts rifling through any old SHIELD junk yards. Let the kids play with commercial repulsor tech." Tabby ponders ideas with that manic grion of hers.
Sam Guthrie	Sam Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "We find repulsor tech might have to fight me for it." He grins at her, and says "Well glad we found something you like Tabby hon."
