Tomie Kawakami The club is booming tonight. Okay, so it's mostly the music that is booming, but that's something isn't it? Enough people that you can blend into the crowd if you want, but just small enough that a real stand out can capture the imagine if you want to.

Tomie, that is to say Reiko, is seated at one of the many tables here at 'Maximal Power Cosmic', the most recent iteration of a club in this particular converted warehouse and amongst the patrons is just one more girl in a hoody doing her level best to move the crowd without drawing too many eyes. She's looking for something, that girl, or someone.
Blake Riviere A socialite, a member of the Hellfire Club...but noone could really tell to see her tonight. Hair down, black dress and those red stockings, she'd kept to her usual color palatte, but otherwise? She looked like just another pretty face out for clubbing.

In a way it was true, but Blake was seeking more than that. She might have taken a more heroic turn over these months...but she still needed to eat.
Tomie Kawakami A figure that stands out as much as Blake does is certain to get the attention here, and she does. Some have stopped to stare, of course, and stare they do.

Amongst them is the slender Asian girl with the hoody, half her face half shrouded in luxuriantly lovely hair.

And then someone bumps into her from behind and she jerks like she's been scalded, recoiling in half panic. Sweat beads her brow.
Blake Riviere Weaving her way through the crowd Blake's inhuman senses were indeed moving over the crowd, a little assessing of those around her...and a little quirk of her lip to a smirk of her painted lips to the attention she was getting...

Of course, Tomie's moment of panic has Blake's eyes moving back, curiousity alight on her face.
Tomie Kawakami There's just something about her, isn't there? One look in her direction, meeting her dark eyes, it's enough to capture the interest of those who might be curious.

The girl looks away quickly, eyes scanning the crowd. Searching. What she wants isn't here, is it? A recognizable flash of frustration.
Blake Riviere Eyecatching? The squeek? That faint nature of panic? Whatever it might be, it was enough for Blake's attention to be drawn in.

Making her way forwards, she draws nearer with a stride carrying some noted confidence that might seem almost feline in nature.

"Hello," she greets lightly, "what puts such a look of concern on your face?"
Tomie Kawakami Ah, that grace.

The girl stops for a moment. Eyelashes flutter, then her eyes close altogether.

"I was supposed to meet someone. They're not here," she demurs, glancing back up at her in a way that suggests she knows she's captured Blake's attention herself for the moment and takes no small pleasure in it.
