Inez Temple With their reconnecting starting to really blossom and grow, Inez suggests a date night. But of course, because it's them, the suggestion is a night on the boardwalk! Sure, it's still a little chilly, but when has that ever stopped either of them before? The sun is setting, the lights are up, the rollercoasters are still running the tracks, and the atmosphere is starting to shift from family fun to a more singles and couples vibe. Fair food, rigged games, fun rides... perfect date night material for Wade Wilson and Inez Temple!

The cowgirl has gone a little more low-key tonight in a white off the shoulder cropped peasant blouse, stonewash lowriding bootcut jeans with a fringey raw leather belt, and of course the everpresent stetson and boots. She's currently smiling at him and tugging him along playfully towards some of the games, "C'mon Wade... let's clean 'em out. We c'n donate th' prizes t' th' children's hospital or somethin'." Inez winks at him, and draws him towards the ring-tossing game.
Wade Wilson     Wade hasn't felt the way he does tonight in a long time. Sure, he's gone on dates with other potential (and successful) partners, but something about the way Inez carries herself; always playful, always full of that excitement, and always ready to use her abilities (and his own) for the gain of others, brings an equal amount of exhuberance to his own mood. "You know if we win too much they're going to realize something is up."

He had dressed in something other than the red and black for the night. His faded jeans hug his muscled legs enough to show off form, but not as much as the leather and spandex. A tee-shirt that somehow has his own likeness (in Deadpool's outfit of course) on it riding on the back of a unicorn that looked like it had come back from a Opeth concert (all spiked armor and soot stains) covered his upper torso. And a simple red hoody works enough to keep away the worst of the coastal breeze.

He smiles. "I remember there was a county fair in Atlanta that still has me blacklisted because I managed to win their shooting game, despite the gun's rifling being all sorts of shoddy." He looked at the ring toss. "How about we stagger it? One and one. That way they don't lose everything. Be a shame for others to not have a chance at exposing them, right?" he asks the woman. "But I agree, winnings go to the children's hospital."
Inez Temple "Ooooooooo, ya gotta good point. Yeah, can't win too much or they'll cut us off," Inez gives a nod, pulling to a stop in front of the ring toss, turning to look at him with a smile. She's always been the fun-loving and easygoing sort, rolling with the punches and just forging ahead to the tune of her own band. She tips back the brim of her hat with her thumb and gives a nod, "Sounds like a plan. An' yeah, toys always go t' th' kids. I already got my prize."

Leaning in, she gives him a quick but thorough smooch, pulling back to wink at him, "Kiss fer luck. Now kick ass, darlin'." Winking at Wade, she slaps down the max amount for a big stack of rings and grins, "Yer up first. I'll take th' next round." Wearing a big, encouraging smile, Inez watches Wade at the game. She sends the occasional glance out towards the other games, ear-marking the ones they want to win at, which ones have the crappier prizes they can skip.

"What kinda food ya wanna get while we're here? Corn dogs? Funnel cakes? Candy apples, cotton candy? Giant pretzels with melted queso? All o' th' above?" She turns a grin towards him before looking back to the game and watching others trying to land the rings around the necks of the bottles.
Wade Wilson     "I'm always hungry and the food here isn't the most filling so, all of the above works for me if you think you can keep up?" Part of having the accelerated healing factor was managing the metabolism that comes with it. The active lifestyle they both had did a good enough job of keeping them in shape but it also called for as many calories to fund the activitites.

He picked up the stack of rinks and spun one around a finger, getting a feel for the imbalance of the item. Ten rings to get 25 points. Throwing it properly would be tricky with the weight distribution set at non-symetrical angles. But this wouldn't be the most unorthodox item he's used as a projectile before.

"With as much luck as you just gave me..." he says with a grin to her before tossing the ring out onto the field. "Easy." It strikes one of the bottles on an edge and bounces into the air before settling on a black ringed bottle. Three points. A good start. Another goes out into the field and wraps around a red-ringed bottle. Another five points. Two down, eight to go and he's just shy of a third of the points needed for the best prizes. He'd make it close, even though at this point he was confident he could get with another 2 carefully tossed rings.
Inez Temple "Hey, I c'n keep up if'n yer game fer it. I ain't got this body -jes'- from trainin'.." Inez winks at him and gives a little wiggle before letting out a laugh and turning back towards the game. That first ring has her letting out a whoop, clapping her hands together. "Go babe, go! Ya got this in th' -bag-." Acting like she isn't aware that he could easily hit the 25 points whenever he wanted.

She flashes a grin at the carnie running the game, then turns back to Wade and bobs her brows at him in a suggestively silly manner, "More luck where that came from.. win this one an' I'll see bout lip-lockin' a bit more yer way.." Inez chuckles, then looks back to the game again, letting out another whoop for the next toss.

The other couples are watching Wade toss those rings, and Inez flashes bright smiles, "Ain't he great? All in th' wrist. He's -great- wit' his hands." She blinks, then chuckles, "Comment stands."
Wade Wilson     Wade moves into his element and starts having a bit of fun with the rings. He's already thrown another three, reaching the halfway point of the game. And he's at 18 points total. The worker manning the game seems a bit apprehensive at the man's skill, eyeing Wade and Inez like some pair of interlopers who were playing a game with -him- as opposed to the other way around.

Wade turned around and with casual ease tosses a sixth. Another 3 pointer this time, as the ring spins around the top of the longneck before settling. "How about I just let fate decide?" he asks Inez, "Especially with that promise in the air." He tosses the remaining four rings all at once and each bounces around the bottle field before settling down on the four gold ringed bottles. Each were instant wins and Wade hit all four with one throw.

The man running the game gaped at Wade with astonishment on his face, but there wasn't much he can do. "Neena would be jealous if she were here" Wade replied. Though there was little to do with luck in his skill with thrown projectiles. He wasn't the best, but he was far above anything human in his skill. "Take your pick, love" he says turning to Inez with a wink.
Inez Temple Laughing in delight as Wade continues to excel with the game, knowing just how good he is and how easily he could have won the game with the first throw, she is having fun with his having fun. Hit after hit after hit, she whoops and jumps up and down and claps for him, grinning and gushing to the others playing over her man's skill and luck with the game.

It comes down to the last four rings, and she looks towards him with a wink, "Got plenty in store fer ya, darlin'. Storin' it up 'cross th' last couple years." Inez glances sidelong to watch all the rings flying, and all four of them hitting the instant win. Laughing delightedly, she pulls him in for that promised lip-lock, kissing him like she means it, even dipping herself back a little so he can have that extra 'luck' before pointing out the four stuffed animals she wants from the wins.

Straightening from the longer kiss, she grins, "Neena would come kick both our asses in all th' games... wouldn't be surprised if she's perma-banned from every boardwalk an' carnival in th' northern hemisphere." Inez gives him an excited squeeze, collecting up the animals before looking back to Wade with a grin, "Food, then more games?"
Wade Wilson     Wade's return of her kiss is deep and carries as much enthusiasm as everything he does. No restraint, no hesitation. Just instict. He leans into the dip a bit and finally lets them both up for air. His own face flushed with the intensity.

He watches and takes what he can of the massively oversized animals, finding hismelf stuck with a panda and a thick-maned lion. At her commentary on Domino's status among carnivals he nods. "You know, you're probably right. On all fronts." He offers the crook of his arm as he heads away from the game.

"Absolutely" he comments at her offer for food. "It's been a while since I've been down here, I've forgotten how much fun it can be to dupe the carnies who think they can rig games against mutants with peak or higher human skill."

He eyes one of the "Test Your Strength" hammer and bell games, knowing that Inez would likely barely have to try to hit the bell and then some with a single swing. As they near the food court he inhales deeply. "Ah... deep friend goodness. I cannot wait."
Inez Temple Inez is smiling like she's just won the lottery by the time they come back up for air, winking at him even as they turn to collect the animals. She ends up with an electric blue zebra and a HUGE stuffed bear with a bow around it's neck. Taking his arm, she gring towards him as they head off and away from the angry games worker that's probably warning others even now to keep an eye out for this couple.

She laughs lightly and bobs a nod as they walk, "Wonder if'n we could like... disguise her an' sneak her in. Th' three of us workin' a carnival t'gether? Man... we could bring kids Christmas in July." Inez seems pleased by the idea and bookmarks it for another time.

"Right? An' we c'n get some fun food an' ride a few rides... make out like teens at th' top o' th' Ferris Wheel.. clean out th' carnies.. an' jes' have a blast wit' all of it." Inez beams a grin at him and heads them towards some of the food carts, likewise noticing the strength tester and grinning, "Oh we're hittin' that up. Do a couple test swings at first, gauge how much it'd take t' break it.. then slam it jes' shy o' that." She winks at him and grins, "Make 'em rethink their masculinity."

Approaching the vendor, she gets two of everything. Corn dogs, funnel cakes, deep fried twinkies, cotton candy, cheeseburgers, and a pair of drinks. The stuffies are set aside so she can pay and collect up the food before they can find somewhere to sit and enjoy their deep fried bounty!
