Owner Pose
Miles Morales Leave it to Spider-Man (Too!) to be swinging through Brooklyn on his way to the Rooftop of Spidertude. That's what he's calling the meet up place for those of the Spidery Ilk. He's all about the thwipping and the somersaulting off the webline as he makes his approach! There's a cool extra twist that he throws into it because he's trying to gain some extra style points! He opens his arms wide upon his descent and drops to the rooftop, tucking and rolling with his landing before popping back up to his feet with a big smile on his masked face. Which no one can see but the way his eye-lenses kind of widen or whatever shows his happiness with his landing.

"Swish!" Spider-Miles holds up his hands in the 'ballin' motion ala Jim Jones (for the hip-hop fans) or MVP (for those wrestling fans) shooting a fake basket.
Gwen Stacy At least it isn't raining today so Gwen isn't listening to her usual Garbage song 'only happy when it rains' because how else is one supposed to endure rainy weather in Brooklyn if not with *that* music? Because really, try to swing around buildings in a tight outfit while it's raining like heck. It's miserable!

So today? It's Sia with some Cheap Thrills, swinging over and across the Rooftop of Spidertude. Ugh..., whoever came up with *that* name?

"You sound happy." She points out as she silently lands on the other side of the rooftop, the music on her earcomms ending and she wandering closer. "I thought the rooftop of spidertude was the brooding spot." her tone amused under the mask.
Miles Morales "Well..." Spider-Miles makes sure to turn off the volume of his own music that's playing through the headphones he seems to keep around his neck. Especially when he's doing the city swinging thing. He pretends to check a watch that he's definitely not wearing. "... I've got about two more hours before my next scheduled brooding session so I figured why not get some extra smiles in." It's a bad joke but Spider-Miles is not so good with the humor.

Spider-Miles makes his way over to meet with the other Spider and offers a gloved fist for bumping action. "I think the roof'll forgive me if I take it out for a happiness spin or two."
Gwen Stacy "That's Gotham starting to influence you, Spiderma--" she stops herself before finishing that, "Are you really sure about the name? It's going to be a mix-up when you two are together." she clearly rolling her eyes under the mask. "I can already see it when someone calls one of you.." she lets out a sigh, hands on her hips as she nears the edge of the rooftop to look down at the ground below.

Gwen looks back up just in time to return the gloved fistbump, "Good that you are keeping yourself up, what's been happening with you?" She then asks, eyes trailing the young man up and down before asking, "Been a small while since I last saw you."
Miles Morales "It's gonna' be a hard sell, I know. But it's a classic for a reason, right?" Spider-Miles just kind of shrugs through the name part of this conversation because he's not really sure how much he's going to want to figure out this name thing. He could also just be super lazy with this whole naming scheme. "Besides, have you not seen any sitcoms? The name bit is hilarious!" He might be trying to sell himself on this as well.

"Oh, nothin' too major." Spider-Miles drops down onto the edge of the roof to let his sneakers do that dangling thing they they do. He can also look out over the city. "Just hangin', swingin', occasionally thwippin'. No big news report, which I think might actually be a good thing." Spider-Miles grins beneath the mask. "What about you? Anything good, bad, or ugly?"
Gwen Stacy "It's a classic." Gwen admits with a sharp nod, "But what about finding your own name, identity, etc etc..." she gestures with her hands while she talks. She clearly has some rather pointed opinions about hero naming! "It's not easy though, I will tell you that.." she letting out a sigh. "I was lazy as heck when I started out." hands come up to rest on the back of her head and she gets back on that edge of the rooftop, impeccable balance. "I just called myself Spiderwoman. Which, I know, not the most original, but I was freakin' fourteen at the time. Fourteen!"

Wait, didn't Ghost Spider start prowling around the area only in the last 2 years or so? She certainly doesn't sound or looks to be sixteen.

Her focus then goes to that last question, "Isn't that some old movie?" She asks about the good bad and ugly. She arches a brow, "Don't tell me you are into old classics." she comments before finally addressing the question, "A thing or two. Been looking into some crooked cops and ..., it may all explode soon. But other than that, you know, just living life, trying to balance university with ..." she gestures at herself, "...this."
Miles Morales "I know, I know. Listen, if something cooler comes down the pipeline then I'll definitely consider it." Spider-Miles makes sure to leave his options open when it comes to this whole naming scheme thing. His opinions may not be as opinionated as the Ghost Spider's but that's what happens when you get to pick Ghost Spider as a dope name! Miles just offers a half-shrug to keep his point made. "I'll see what I can come up with." He won't. He won't see. He might be too lazy.

"Dang and I thought I started young. You're a veteran at this by now!" Spider-Miles keeps the math to himself but does some quick mental calculations because some numbers are kind of weird but whatever, as long as she's on their side. That's all that really matters. "I'm gonna' need you to show me some tricks."

Spider-Miles tilts his head. "Is it? I think so. I think my dad watches that movie a lot." Miles shrugs again even if he's not sure about that. "I like a few old school films! But I'll watch whatever. If I ever get time between school and friendlying up unfriendly neighborhoods." The info about the cops makes him pay a little more attention. "Anything you need a hand with or...?"
Gwen Stacy Yea. Gwen seems to have his number. The LAZY number. Which means she eyes him with that kind of look of someone that doesn't believe anything of what's being said. "What you mean is that you are going to shelve it somewhere on your mind and open it ..., oh I don't know..., next year or so.." she is being generous. "A name makes the hero. The same way an outfit can make it. Or do you think this stylish black and white outfit came out of my own head? Of course not, I got the best designer on earth to do it for me, Janet Van Dyne. And that's the defining factor..., it's when you get to be a real star and--"

She stops herself and lets out a long drawn-out sigh. "I was getting carried away again. Hard to break old habits." she shakes her head a bit, "Just take your time. Or not. Just know you are going to be here to help you with it. Or at least I will." a beat, "But hol' up, you calling me a veteran, as in I'm old now, is it?" she shakes her head, "I will let you know that I am only 20 right now, tyvm." then folding her arms defensively. Is she feeling old? Maybe she is around Miles!

"I might need some help actually. Been doing most of it with another up and coming hero. Have you met this kid called Bando? He's trying to become a hero and ..., been teaching him the ropes. Damn it, being a mentor makes me old, doesn't it?" she drops her shoulders in a resigned manner.
Miles Morales Miles grins beneath his mask and just offers a big ol' fingergun motion in the Ghost Spider's direction. Especially when it comes to the fact that he's definitely going to be leaning into the lazy angle. The fact that Ghost Spider can read him so well right now is a testament to either her skills or his obviousness. Maybe a little bit of both. "Bingo." And then he decides to add a little bit more. "Or maybe my favorite spider-amiga will come up with something dope for me to use. That's always an option." Another layer of laziness has been piled on top of it: Make Ghost Spider Do It.

Spider-Miles holds up his hands when this age thing gets into the mix. "Hold on. Before you kick me over the side, I'm nineteen. No age judgement here. I'm right behind you!"

Spider-Miles is on his feet now and trying to look as relaxed as possible with the knowledge of some crime being afoot. "Hey, count me in. Don't know a Bando but any friend of the Ghost Spider, right?" Yup. Miles is super bored in Gotham it sounds like.
Gwen Stacy "Really? You are not only lazy but now you are going to make me do it..?" Though Gwen appears to have perked up at that. Because if anything she just loves going over hero names and potential marketing for them. As she said, old habits are hard to die! "Fine .., I will help. Even if under protest." not too big of a protest if one is honest about it.

"And alright, I will keep you posted. As I told you, it all be coming down soon so.., I might need your help sooner than later. I need to take off now." she swings a web towards a nearby building and looks over her shoulder at Miles.

"Thanks for making the rooftop a bit more Spidertude instead of Solitude. I will talk to you soon." And then off she goes, swinging across Brooklyn!
Miles Morales Spider-Miles grins beneath that mask and watches the Ghost Spider swing off into the heroics. He takes that in for a moment before he pulls his headphones back up to his head and busts on some more hip-hop to swing to. He turns around and falls off the edge of the rooftop, likely taking the stylish route before launching a webline out for some swinging action of his own!
