Mark Grayson Metropolis! City of Tomorrow! Not only was this city a shining example of technological achievements and advantages and the symbol of how far humans can go, It's also home to an obnoxious amount of superheroes and super /villains/. One up and comer was the mighty, the untested, Invincible!

Blur of blue and yellow sails across the city heights, swirling between buildings and cloud sections. He's smiling from ear to ear. The wind in his hair. Sonethings missing though. People to fight! Maybe he'll run into a villain in the skies?

A bird flaps right into his face because he wasn't paying attention.

"Ow!" He rubs his face and notices a billboard at the last minute. "CRAP!" he flies straight through it and bounces off the rooftop. "Ow...." He straightens and cracks his back. It didn't really hurt, but nobody wants to practice tumbling.
Kian     Practicing tumbling is surprisingly useful, Kian would say.
He would draw up short of suggesting getting a faceful of bird or flying through an advertising panel, however.
That said, it might be a bit of a surprise when a small birdman alights on what remains of the billboard frame, shakes his head, and asks, "Are you all right?  That looked like an awkward landing."
Mark Grayson Mark gives his back a little twist this way and that. Yep, still looking good. He adjusts the glass goggles that cover each of his eyes to keep them free of bugs and the like. He turns suddenly when Kian speaks, fists raised and turning on his heel to face Kian. He looks ready for a fight!

...concern was not what he was expecting. "Oh, that? Not a problem. I can try and fix it though. I'm still learning how to manage the landing without causing collateral damage, but yeah, I'm okay. I'm Invincible." A little presumptuous.

"My hero name. Invincible. What's yours? Or do you fly around like that with a normal name?"
Kian     "Hero name...?  Oh, that.  No, I can only ever be Kian, I may not take another name," the little birdman says as though that were completely obvious.  "But I know many Earthers do, when they have powers and abilities that they use.  I can't say I understand it, but I respect it."
He leans forward a little, peering close.  "You *are* using your /rhy'thar/... sorry, your special powers to help people?  I have run into some who don't."
Mark Grayson "Kian? Well, nice to meet you Kian. Either way, I think you're pretty cool. I wish I had wings." Mark smiles at Kian, but he tilts his head. "What the heck is a rhy'thar?" Mark questions Kian curiously. He nods when he explains that using special powers to help people.

"Yeah! My dad used to be a hero then he retired. So, I'm following in his footsteps, you know?" He lifts his shoulders in a shrug. "But I'm working on it and hoping to become something that can make the world proud. Who knows, maybe I'll get to be as cool as Superman?"

He chuckles. "I've run into some nasties who don't either." He relaxes. "You don't look like you're one of them!"
Kian     "Sorry.  My /rhy'thar/ are my special abilities.  Not my flying or my partial telepathy," Kian explains, although how much that clears things up is probably open to discussion.  That said, he does grin back, broadly.  "I wish everyone had wings.  It would feel a lot more normal around this world."
He chuckles softly at the idea he might be a nasty... or in Vic's terms, a 'dik-hed'.  "I am pretty sure I am not one of the bad guys?  I've been with the Titans for nearly two years now."  Truth be told, Kian is not an attention hound like some of his teammates -- but his existence as a Titan is probably established by now.
