Owner Pose
Micola Maximoff Micola had a bit of a challenge for her other half. Or well...it might end up with her being dumped, which would probably break her heart into tiny pieces, but she had something that she wanted to do and that involved him standing still for a few minutes...

He doesn't know that yet.

It's raining in Brighton Beach which means a lot of the foot traffic is down for the evening. She'd been home from volunteering for a few hours now since she went earlier in the day. She was excited though as she awaited Pietro's arrival.
Pietro Maximoff Challenges were generally good things - when properly applied. Not knowing what had been planned, Pietro was zipping back towards the shop and apartment. One of his favorite games was to try to dodge as much of the rain as he could - lengthening his trip, but adding to the enjoyment. As he stepped into the shop, barely a drop had touched him - it was a good run!

Nodding to those who might actually be in the parlor, he moves then to the apartment below.

"Micola?" Pietro grinned, stepping in and looking about. "Ah... how was your day? Slow in the shop?" He guesses, moving over to greet her with a hug and kiss.
Micola Maximoff Micola gives a smile when she hears Pietro. She was all too happy to accept hugs and return the kiss to the man, letting her arms slide about his shoulders as she does. "Yeah, just a little slow. But it's the ran." she tells him. "It's been good. I traded volunteer shifts so I wouldn't be dealing with rain tonight." she muses to that.

"I actually had a favor to ask you...if you would like to hear it out?" she asks him as she gives him a soft smile.
Pietro Maximoff "A favor?" Pietro's brow arches. "I am always willing to entertain favors for you." A slight smile. "And I imagine the rain drives people inside - not wanting to get tattooed, where they would need to cover it up immediately to go home." A nod.

"What did you need from me?" He wonders.
Micola Maximoff Micola nods her head to that, "Yes, I promise it doesn't involve villainy or anything of the sort." she tells him. "And no, getting tattooed and then going out into a downpour is never any fun." she muses. "I had originally wanted to see if you wanted to do some night skating, but the rain has made that difficult." she sighs softly.

There's a soft smile as he asks what she needs from him and she gives a teasing waggle of her eyebrows, "That is a very loaded question, but, I would like to paint you...but that requires either you sitting still long enough for it or I can take pictures of you and use them as references." she offers.
Pietro Maximoff The man looked out to the shop door, then back to her. "Paint me? As in paint on me? Or a portrait of me?" He wonders, looking back to her. "You wish me to sit still for a bit? I think I can try that, though I cannot assure you how long." Pietro is honest, at least.

"Perhaps we can see how long we can go, and you can take photos as well? Just in case?"
Micola Maximoff Micola gives a look over him, "Alexa, remind me to order body paint." she calls over to the little machine. The little ding as it awakens and adds it to the list is amusing to her. "We can do that another time. I just...wanted to see about doing a painting of you, but I don't want to make you sit for two long." she admits. "That sounds like a fair trade and I have fresh Baklava to sweeten the deal." she winks at him.
Pietro Maximoff A smirk from Pietro. "Apparently I am a fountain of idea for Alexa." The man shakes his head. "How shall I sit, then? Or stand?" He wonders, looking around the apartment to see how much she'd planned this - looking for any particular setup she may have already arranged.

"Baklava after, then." He winks. "And I do wonder - what brought this desire on?"
Micola Maximoff Micola gives a chuckle as she steps back from him, allowing him to move as he wishes. "I actually hadn't thought that through. My brain just wanted to make sure that you'd be able to sit for a few first." she tells him softly. "But...I have an idea." she tells him. "You choose a book and a place to sit and I will go with that. So you'll at least have you comfortable." she tells him.

"But yes, Baklava after. I picked some up this morning." she grins as she watches him. "Would you like a drink or anything?" she asks him.
Pietro Maximoff Pietro looks about, picking out a nice looking leather bound book. Another glance around as he finds a comfortable looking chair to settle into. "Do you mind if I read? I can generaly flip a page quick enough as to not disturb your painting..." He grins, settling in and making sure he's comfortable.

"Perhaps a glass of wine? It might help me relax a bit more, as it courses through me."
Micola Maximoff "I don't mind if you read at all. That's sort of why I thought of the books." Micola tells him with a smile. "It won't disturb me, I promise." she tells him with a soft look to him. Though his question has her nodding, "Of course." she grins to that as she slips over to retrieve the bottle of wine from the fridge and pour him a glass.

She moves over to where he is sitting to hand it to him, "Also, to answer your earlier question, I don't have any pictures of you and I was going to put this in the bedroom or above my booth to look at every once in awhile...if that's not too creepy or sappy?" she asks him.
Pietro Maximoff There's a bit of a blush from the man, even as he takes the glass of wine. He gives a glance to the book, the man smirking at her comment. "I will have to get something - a photo or drawing of you." He says, after a breath. A quick drink from the wine, and he sets the glass down.

"Did you want me sitting in any particular fashion? Or pose me?" He grins.
Micola Maximoff Micola gives a soft smile to him, "Hey, if this feels...weird we don't have to do it." she tells him. "And we can always do that selfie photo that every couple has in their phone if that helps?" she grins at him. "And no, I think you're just fine like you are." she states.

Then she's wandering back to the counter where her water colors are set out and pouring herself a glass of wine. She was nervous, but good nervous!
Pietro Maximoff There's a slight shake of his head. "No, this is fine." He grins, taking another sip of his wine - bringing a flush to his cheeks. "Perhaps we can get you to do royal portraits?" Pietro winks to her. "Not weird. I wasn't expecting it, but it is not weird." The man chuckles.

Sensing her nervousness, he watches her quietly for a moment. "Just breathe and enjoy the creative process, yes?"
Micola Maximoff Micola smiles to him as she watches him for a few moments, then her eyes are looking down, sketching first with pencil as she makes soft lines on the page. She gives a look up to him, "Royal portraits? Oh that would be something a professional would do, yes?" she asks him. "I'd give it a good go, I don't want Lorna putting me in any dungeons." she chuckles.

"I'm full of surprises, sometimes odd ones." she muses. Then she gives a soft smile to him, "I will." she tells him.
Pietro Maximoff The man stays rather still, eyes darting from book to her frequently. "I have no doubt you would do a wonderful job." He offers, his facial expression remaining a mask as normal. Focused, aloof, disciplined. It's an expression he wears often enough, in dealing with the passage of time.

"I like your surprises, that you have sprung on me. I hope I can provide some for you, too. I don't want to be the dull one."
Micola Maximoff Micola worries her bottom lip a little when she thinks and she's doing it right now as she sketches down the foundation of the painting. She lets her golden gaze rise to meet his and she gives him a grin, "We'll call this practice then, hmm?" she offers.

She then wiggles a little on the chair, trying to seperate some of the finer lines from where she needs them to go, "I don't ever think you'll be the dull one in our relationship, Pietro." she points out to him with a smile.
Pietro Maximoff "Practice makes perfect, correct?" Pietro muses. The urge to move is there - but the wine, already affecting him, has him quite a bit more relaxed. Hurrah for quickened metabolism!

"I hope not. You deserve a man who is fun, and dotes on you." A wry grin. "I try to do both - and I try to keep from being too impatient with the world when I am around you. It helps me, you being there."
