Owner Pose
Kaida Connolly It was a typical thing for Kaida. She comes to the various poorer areas of the Tri-City areas, looking into the more downtrodden and forgotten people of the world. Kaida has made it her purpose since her transformation to help the people she can. So, she's now off into Hell's Kitchen, rushing along the hidden parts of the city and along walls to slip into typical spots where the homeless stay and peeking in on them.

So far, there's been no sign of real trouble other than a poor woman who was really starving. Having delivered to her a bowl of soup from a local kitchen, Kaida was just about to make her way out of the area but stops atop a squat building to survey the area one last time.
Glamour Help the peopler you can.

That's what superheroes are supposed to do, right? Isn't that why Glamour became a superhero? To help people? Sadly, there's not a lot she can do about poverty. She can't exactly get people to deliver food. In fact, more often than not, when she tries some kid captures her in a jar and tries to get her to say "hey! Listen!' over and over again.

Truth be told, she was on patrol in ther area, a fluttering, glimmering, glitter presence that zips through the sky, up and around and then over and under. By street lamps, by traffic lights. She's glowing a dim blue that obscures her presence, but anyone who catches sight the little nimbus of light's gonna be left little doubt about what she is.

A pair of glitter-farting wings are a big give away.
Kaida Connolly Sight isn't the thing that Kaida is most known for. She's only as good as any other human when it comes to seeing. It's her sense of smell and hearing that are incredibly enhanced. That and she has a weird twitch about magic. So, when someone flies below her position that is tiny, potentially magical and making wing beats similar to a dragonfly, only larger, Kaida blinks and looks down. She stares as she watches the glowing orb fly past before she suddenly drops off the roof and lands casually on a lamp post.

"Weird." She says to no one in particular before leaping to a nearby wall with the alacrity of some friendly neighborhood spider and races off after the strange orb of light.
Glamour Eventually, the orb of light perches ON a light and dims, revealing the creature that it was covering. Indeed, dragonfly wings were a good descriptor for her, and she sits atop the lamp post and stares along the road, hands on her hips.

... she is totally striking a superhero pose.
Kaida Connolly Casually, Kaida leaps from the building to land atop the street light with as much silence as any ninja could muster. She's just very tiny and very good at going unseen. It was a survival thing for a while and now is far more of a tactic. She glances around the tiny figure, blinking several times as she leans left and then right, eying the figure.

"Hello." She states simply enough to the posed figure and then tilts her head to hte side. She doesn't often see anyone casually being her size. Even Nadia typically stays big till she needs to be small.
Glamour "AHHHH," squeals Glamour as Kaida just SHOWS UP.

"WHAT THE HELL."

A pause.

A squint. She nearly fell off the lamp, but her wings kept her from getting intoo much trouble. "... the heck? Wher3e did you come from?!" She asks, blinking her eyes and focusing in on her. "...cool mouse look, though!"
Kaida Connolly A blink as she gets a reaction from the Faerie person. She is used to people being surprised at her so she simply stands up straighter and plants a hand on her hip. She tilts her head to the side and then blinks several times, "Mouse look?" She asks and looks down at herself before looking up.

"It's not a look." She states, "I mean, I guess it sorta is. In the same way that you have a fairy look." She nods her head, "Or a human has a human look."
Glamour "Well, I mean. It could have been a costume or illusion or something. I didn't want to assume you were a furry."

Glamour nods, then recoverinmg some semblance of her composure, she straightens up and flutters her wings. "Yeah. I'm a fairy-themed superhero. Also, an actual fairy. No point in hiding that at *this* point." Another wiggle of wings. Fairy dust falls off them.
Kaida Connolly "Uh, I'm not a furry. I don't dress up as a mouse." She states and shakes her head, crossing her arms as she looks to the side with a huff. And then looks back before blinking several times, glancing at the falling dust.

"Wow, an actual fairy?!" She tilts her head before blinking, "A fairy themed superhero who is a fairy?" She then stares some more before adding, "I mean, that's certainly original but not something I expected. I guess it makes sense that fae creatures are real though."
Glamour "Well, I didn't expect a mouse girl to join me on a lamp post today either so we're both surprised."

She flicks some dust around with her bare feet. Truthfully, she's dressed rather skimpily in rags. Then again, clothes are hard to find at this size, as Kaida no douibt knows.

"I dunno about original but what else am I gonna do?"
Kaida Connolly "Be a fairy?" She asks and shrugs before she casually sits down on the top of the lamp post and looks over Glamour briefly before hmmming, "Are you new or have you been doing this a while?" She asks and casually pulls around a pack and starts pulling out various little wrapped pieces of food.
Glamour "Oh, a while now, but you know, I don't really get to do that much. It's fun when I do, though!" Glamour continues hopping on the tips of her toes up and down a little. The food gets her eyes locked on it. Sure. Feed the fairy.
Kaida Connolly Casually unwrapping the food, Kaida blinks as she notes that Glamour is looking at her food and she smirks a little.

"Hungry?" She asks and pulls out another wrapped item and sets it out on the lamp. She then unwraps her own and reveals it to be a cube of cheese that she casually scarfs down before looking over to Glamour.

"It's good and filling!" She nods her head, "I need a lot more food to eat but it is good to keep the calories up." She nods again, "I'm Kaida by the way, the mouse Titan!" She nods her head.
Glamour "...you actually eat cheese. That's adorable," remarks Glamour, warmly, before taking a look at the items in question and leaning over to do so.

"I don't NEED to eat, but I LOVE to eat. Big shocker there, right? These days, I go by Glamour."
Kaida Connolly "Glamour, only the silly don't eat cheese." She nods her head and takes down the cheese in two quick bites before wrapping up the plastic and sliding it away.

"I mean, cheese is just a wonderful creation and frankly one of the best things this planet has to offer." She nods her head before pulling out another small jar and casually popping it open to drink down a gulp of water from it. She shrugs before looking to Glamour again.

"You don't eat? Are you sustained by another source? I mean, all living things need sustenance."
Glamour "I mean, I love cheese too but it's still cute as hell." Glamour looks like she's deeply resisting the urge to reach over and pinch Kaida's ear.

"I guess magic? I did say 'fairy' after all. Magic stomach of magicafulness." She wiggles her fingers in her direction. It's maagiiiic."
Kaida Connolly A pfft comes from Kaida and she laughs before shaking her head. She casually stands up after putting her jar away, slinging her pack back over her shoulder and adjusting its fit along with her shield. She casually rests a hand on the hilt of her sword.

"I mean, I sense some magic for sure but that's still very interesting. I have never really met a creature made fully of magic that wasn't trying to kill myself or my friends." She shakes her head.
Glamour "I'm not about to kill anyone! A hero wouldn't do that," says Glamour, thoughtfully, "though the jury is still out on making them feel like they've got spiders all over them."

A solemn nod follows this.
Kaida Connolly A blink and then she shakes her head, "I hadn't suggested that you would do so but then, again." She shrugs and shakes her head, "You'd be surprised what a hero might do or have to do over time." She frowns and shifts a little before looking out over the area below. She stands up and stretches her arms up over her head.

"I can say that this has been an interesting meeting to say the least." She laughs, "Ya know, a couple years ago I might have gone crazy to see a fairy but now it just seems like just another day. I have been to other worlds and other dimensions even." She looks over at Glamour with a grin, "Things change."
Glamour "Boy, do they! I haven't been to other dimensions -- that's a 'maybe someday' goal since it's something heroes do, I guess, but you know... But, yeah. I guess that's why I stick to ... *the code*," she gives a shifty look back and forth, as if the code were a secret.

It's not.

"What would Captain America do?" she explains, giving a solemn nod following it.
Kaida Connolly "Oh, that's a code?" She asks and blinks as she idly reaches up to rub her chin and think on it. Her nose and whiskers twitch a little as she thinks on that before shaking her head.

"I always just did whatever I thought was good." She states and nods her head, "What is the decision that even the smallest among us can live with?" She asks and then looks over at Glamour with a hmm.

"Who told you about this code?"
Glamour "...stories about Captain America?" she says, gently, as if that should be obvious to Kaida. "I mean, he's a pretty good role model to follow, I'd think. He's very old."

Cap is probably grimacing in pain somewhere right now.
Kaida Connolly "I mean, that is true but eh. I always just felt it was important to do what is right." She nods her head, "Especially for the weak and poor." She nods her head, "They are the ones most hurt by the strong." She nods and flexes.

"The strong have to protect them!" Kaida smiles and nods her head. For a tiny mouse girl, she actually has some muscle on her when she flexes. She can, after all, lift a great deal greater than her own body weight. She relaxes all the same, hand resting on her hilt again and then she considers. Her eyes going around briefly before back to Glamour.

"So, wait, how long have you been doing the hero stuff? I haven't really heard of very many people my size doing that."
Glamour Glamour tilts her head, studying her with the light of curiousity in her eyes.

"Oh, like a year or something. I don't really do much, mostly use magic to make them regret the day unless I really need to put in like an actual appearance." She smiles cheerfully.

"Yeah! That's the code. Serve the public trust, protect the innocent, uphold the law... No, wait. That's just Robocop."
Kaida Connolly "Oh!" She nods her head and Kaida considers that a moment before shrugging her shoulders.

"YOu have seen a great many more things than I would have thought a Fairy woudl have seen." She grins, "But yes, those are all good things." She then points at her and grins, "There's more to it htough!" She then points to her face.

"You see, first you have to make sure you smile! Whenever possible you have to smile and show no fear!" She shakes her head, "Because people know things will be safe when you don't show fear. More important than that? YOu have to always go beyond, plus ULTRA!" She pumps a fist.
Glamour "Oh yeah! I should definitely smile," agrees Glamour. "A smile can be scary to the right people, too," she muses, then she gives herself a little shake. "And I wasn't ALWAYS a fairy anymore than you were always a mouse. We both got stuck with the six inch problem. Actually, you're taller than I am."
Kaida Connolly "Wait, how do you know I wasn't always a mouse?!" She asks and points at her, "For all you know I was always and forever a mouse. I also don't knwo that you weren't always a fairy." She shakes her head, "I mean, it makes more sense that you were always a fairy more than I was always a mouse." She puts her hands on her hips and nods.
Glamour "It was a fair guess," suggests Glamour, "but I was prepared to be wrong. It doesn't sound like I am! I mean, I definitely wasn't always a fairy. Things got weird." She lays a finger on her chin, peering at her. "I mean, I assume you got like cursed by the spirit of uneaten cheese or something."
Kaida Connolly "Umm, no not exactly." She states and then shakes her head even as she considers, "And I don't really see it as a curse." She nods her head, "I mean, sure I'd like to be bigger but I also have gained a lot from my new perspective." She then grins as she puts a hand on her sword, "I have friends, a purpose, and a lot of new cool stuff."
Glamour "... yeah, perspective," she grumbles. "Still weird, though! I have magic to explain why my biology still functions in a relatively humanistic way though! How does your tiny brain hold up? I bet it's magic. One point for the spirit of uneaten cheese." At this point, she's just teasing her.
Kaida Connolly A roll of her eyes and Kaida shakes her head, "First of all, size isn't everything when it comes to intellect and second, it is magic!" She points at Glamour, "And it is hardly a spirit." She shakes her head, "Probably." She nods again before she gestures to herself, "I am a scientist, after all. Trust me when I say that all this is easily explainable, probably."
Glamour "...oh, well. If you're a scientist, I'll believe you but we better leave no cheese uneaten just in case. Don't want to offend your patron spirit." She reacehs for cheese. BEcause it's there. She is stealing it.
Kaida Connolly A grin as she pushes the cheese over toward Glamour and shakes her head, "I suppose you are right." SHe then looks around for a moment, shaking her head, "I think it's about time I get moving, though." She nods her head and looks back to Glamour, "I can't just hang out on street lights talking to fairies all day."
Glamour "Sure you can. We're enchanting," remarks Glamour.

See what she did there? Then she bites into the cheese.
Kaida Connolly "Sure." Kaida laughs and shakes her head. She stretches her arms up and then looks over to Glamour, "Listen, it was fun talking but I do have to run. I have lots of people to visit before I get back home to the Titan's Tower." She waves a hand.

"Keep up the good work and all that. I hope to see you around again soon." She then leaps casually over to the nearby wall and grins back once before suddenly she's a blur, zipping to the top and then disappearing in a burst of speed.
Glamour "... well okay then," she mumbles as the mouse girl vanished, a few crumbs popping out of her mouth. Then she shrugs and gets back to chewing.
