Owner Pose
Ben Reilly Ben is not an Outsider, but he knows Phoebe well enough (and has swung through the Gotham skyline with her enough) to have a rough idea of where they hang out. Or, at least, where they sometimes hang out. So he sits up here atop the theatre in costume, laying on his back and looking through the contents of his phone. It's a new one - his podcast got a sponsor recently, and he's been able to actually afford some things. Not to mention the Gotham newspapers were a fan of his photos.
Phoebe Beacon     Phoebe, however, is an Outsider. And as Ben is at least a part-timer in the Titans, he knows where the darker half of the heroics live.

Which is precisely how he gets to be attacked by a ferocious beast of red and white, making yodeling 'uwrrruuuuuu!' noises, blue eyes and bright yellow collar catching the light as he bounces back and forth.

    Idu. Phoebe's hound.

"Well, I'd say look what the cat dragged in, but that has a significantly different meaning in this town." comes a familiar voice as Phoebe makes her approach, wearing her civvies.
Ben Reilly Ben picks up Idu, scritching the mighty beast under the chin and playfully roughing the dog up in that way they seem built to enjoy.

"Just thought I'd wait for you to get off work. Plus, I'm still getting to know Gotham so stopping to look at the skyline helps get me situated."
Phoebe Beacon     Idu -- all forty pounds of him -- wriggles and wags and his stand-up huge ears waggle back and forth as if he's trying to fly, attempting to deliver licks and overgrown puppy-nips to Ben's face and hands respectively as Phoebe gives a smile, pulling down the hood from her sweatshirt. Her hair is a mess of loose coils at the moment.

"I got an alert that there was someone on the roof and figured I'd drop by since Red Robin's on an extended mission." Phoebe explains, sitting down on a park bench that's been dragged up, setting her Supernatural Go-bag down.
Ben Reilly "Yeah," Ben says with a smile, tugging off his mask to reveal his face and tucking it into his belt, "The old spider-sense let me know, but I figured you guys weren't the type to have automated missiles to blast intruders or anything."

His eyes fall to the bag.

"Going somewhere?"
Phoebe Beacon     "No, coming from somewhere." Phoebe replies, and she gives a smile at the sight of Ben's face and his tosseled blonde hair.

"I kinda had a not great conversation with one of my pa--" she pauses a moment, and looks up.

"Really, you think I didn't program you into the 'don't shoot' category?" she questions, and then she pulls out her phone, with the cracked screen and dying pixels. "And we totally use lasers. We're classy here in Gotham." she jokes.
Ben Reilly "One of youuuur?" Ben queries, raising his eyebrows even as he continues to sit there and pet Idu. His eyes drift down to the phone she produces.

"Oop, broken phone. You need to go buy a fancy new one like me."
Phoebe Beacon     Idu happily just flops ontop of Ben. Idu demands petting. Idu is more important than a phone or the sadness that comes off his master.

"I... I keep breaking them. Risk of the work I do. It's fine." Phoebe quietly says, and she works the older phone open. It's an older smartphone, maybe even five years old. The screen is cracked and has Idu on its lockscreen, but when she unlocks it, her homescreen is her in a bar with three guys behind her -- one behind the bar with her, igiving a big smile, one on the other side with glasses and a cigarette who looks mildly alarmed, and one at the back looking mildly grumpy.
Ben Reilly "We need to get you at otterbox or something," Ben says with a grin, refusing to let the sadness permeate their combined mood because that's how he is, "But we'll go out and buy you a new one. And also get you a photo of us together so you can put me on the wallpaper somewhere since I'm clearly absent."
Phoebe Beacon     "... this is the phone my dad got me for my thirteenth birthday." Phoebe replies, and she draws her shoulders up a little, "And you're on here. I download you when I see you in the new." She jokes, leaning lightly against Ben's shoulder. She opens her gallery and swipes back. There's pictures of a blonde man with blue eyes and a great smile who'd look right at home on a Fireman calendar. There's a dalmation, and what is absolutely a Much Younger Phoebe, with straightened hair.

"Don't say anything about the hair. Caroline thought my natural hair looked trashy." she states, and then she zips back to recent, and there is infact a downloaded picture of the Scarlet Spider.
Ben Reilly "Well, we don't have to get a new one," Ben tells her, smiling lightly, "I can probably fix it for you, actually. Turns out I'm kind of a genius."
Phoebe Beacon     "I know you are, it's one of the reasons I like you. I like smart guys, so that they can help me figure out how to record shows on DVR and set up timing and bypass location locks and hack into phones to upgrade my simcards." Phoebe gives a small joke, looking over to Ben with a bright smile.

    "Doesn't help that you're adorable ay-eff."
Ben Reilly "Adorable ay-effff," Ben repeats, leaning over to half-roll onto Phoebe and giving her a close hug, "Adorable ay-eff spider has missed you. I insist I get you all to myself for, like, at least an hour."
Phoebe Beacon     "Adorable ay-eff." Phoebe confirms as she leans her head against Ben's shoulder more, taking a deep breath of him, the corners of her eyes getting misty.

"Well. Since you're a Titan, aaand we're allies, I'm pretty sure no one's going to mind if I take you to the common areas. And Idu needs water, besides."
