Ray Palmer Teena's Tiny T... Tina's Teeny Toystore, a haven for those looking for a bargain, especially regarding Legos. You wouldn't expect to find a superhero there but... Other heroes have used their abilities for trining. Some people call this dumbassery. So we find the Atom walking the shelves, barely noticeable as he seeks a bargain. The mighty mite stops in front of a S.T.A.R. labs building set. It could make a useful hideaway for him, if he went a little smaller.

Unseen by the Atom a Kord Co 'bot with a flamboyant paint job and some pretty press on nauls opens the door and flies in to some gasps and laughs of amusement.
Joan Wright And into Teena's Tiny Toystore traipses tired toy lover, Joan. Well, she has a love for a specific type of toy and gosh darn it, she had seen it earlier when she grabbed the no longer in production copy of the Sydney Opera House set. But the International Space Station set and the other science themed building sets seemed like a fun idea of a gift for Ted. He could work on his set while she worked on hers! PERFECT DATE NIGHT!

Smiling and knowing where she wants to go, she starts to head down the LEGO aisle while Bailey goes exploring the aisle that is full of every toy imaginable but set in pink. Off to the back of the row is a blatant switch over to the building sets.

Once she gets to the back area, she pauses, looking between the boxes. A sense of indecisiveness setting over her. "Hmm. Space Station or Laboratory?" She murmurs to herself.
Ray Palmer Ray Palmer inspects a finished S.T.A.R. Labs set. Shrinking a bit more he opens a door and steps in...

and is set upon. The set shakes, rattles and rocks as the 'bot scoops it up with an unmachinelike glee. This results in the diminutive daredevil bonking his head and passing out. Bailey or Bot #10 stuffs the kit into the proper box as a clerk rushes over.

"Hey, that's our demo model, it isn't for sale!"

Bailey's response is to set the box down and then begin back engineering it -making another demo model out of odd blocks laying around. She does this with blurring speed. Then she does the equivalent of snapping her manipulators at the clerk and rejoins Joan with her prize, She shakes the box in front of her human, bot sign language for 'WANT!"
Joan Wright Those are some serious options. But, she thinks to his choices whenever a costume is involved and smiles. "Space Station." She decides with a nod. Reaching over towards the box.

And then the chaos happens. Joan tilts her head forward, closing her eyes for a moment at the sound of a raised voice. She turns, and seeing the unwrapped and obviously repackaged box in Bailey's manipulators, she glances up. First to Bailey, and then the pursing store employee.

"I am so sorry." Joan apologizes to the employee, having pieced together what's going on based off the proclamations of demo model and not for sale earlier. "We can put this one back." Joan states, before gesturing to the unopened version of the same kit that is set beside the International Space Station set. "In the meantime, could you carry one of each of these kits to the front? I'd like to get those after we fix this."
Ray Palmer Bailey seems reluctant about giving back her prize. Maybe because 23% of her components wee derived from S.T.A.R. labs? She latches onto the box and flies with it out of reach, getting bonked by the ceiling fan.

The manage comes over and says, "I'm willing to sell you the demo model. Could I post a picture of it holding the model for our web page? It's adorable."

Bonk! The manager looks up in surprise as the demo model in its box bonx... bonks him again. Bailey gives him a good view of her press ons.

"Her. Could I get a picture of HER for our web page? I apologize... I got a non-binary kid of my own. I had no idea Kord Co bots were so temperamental."
Joan Wright "Well, Bailey is one of our special ones." Joan responds, looking warmly to the colorful bot. She considers how attached Bailey is to the demo and nods. "Bailey? Would you like to have your picture taken with the box? He'll sell us the demo model if you do."

She turns to collect the still closed ISS model kit, "I think I'll get this one."
Ray Palmer Bailey bobs, giving the Atom a jolt and holds the box out for a few selfies. Attention vampire that she is, she makes no protest. Then she floats over to the register. "I'm comping you. The pictures are worth more than the kit and consider it an apology for my misgendering you. Machine have feelings too. Ask anyone who tried to start their car on a cold morning," the manager says.

Inside the box, the last bump wakes a very disoriented Atom. He goes over to the door, despite the tilted floor and gives it a shove. The door is pressed against the box. With a shrug he activates his glove control. The box explodes and a six inch tall Atom emerges, motes of light orbiting him like electrons.
Joan Wright "Oh that is very nice of you." Joan states, to the manager starting to carry the ISS kit to the register. Sure Bailey's kit may have been comped but she's sure as heck not going to preseume that extends to what she intends to get Ted, "But I would feel bad about that considering how expensive the kit is. How about we purchase that one for the out of the box price instead as a compromIIISEEE-?!"

The bursting box startles Joan as she looks immediately to the bot that had been holding the box. "Bailey! Are you alright?!"

It then registers that there is a six inch man floating in front. Joan blinks. "...Dr. Pym? Did you get a new costume?"
Ray Palmer Ray Palmer shakes his head and drops down to the counter. Bailey's manipulator gets shoved away from him, the momentum spinning her around. Livid, the Atom drops to the floor and makes his way to the door. Bailey quickly reassembles the kit and gathers the scraps of the box. She snaps a manipulator at the Atom's retreating back.

The Atom shoves the door open and exits the building.

"I'm sick of hearing about PYM!" With that he is gone. Bailey floats beside Joan, runs a diagnostic on her optics.
Joan Wright Joan blinks as a voice that's not at all Dr. Pym's errupts from the tiny man departing, hearing the complaint she frowns. "Sorry!" She calls out to the closing door.

Kits gathered up and brought to the register, she looks back to the cashier. "...Must've been the other Ant-Man."
