Owner Pose
Booster Gold It is a early evening on a nice spring day, the weather slowly drifting towards summer. Which means that the kids are out in force at the Boardwalk. Arcades, restaurants, bars, and chair rentals rule the day. And sometimes, it is a superhero!

Booster Gold is casually strolling along the boardwalk, stopping to pose for pictures with his fans (they consider it photo bombing their vacation shots, but he lives in his fantasies sometimes), and chatting up some of the cute girls that are walking by in bathing suits. Overall, typical Booster - all style, no substance.
Franklin Spade, Jr.     Meanwhile, Franklin Randall Spade, Jr. is sitting in the back of a van driving near the Boardwalk, fanning himself with a paper copy of the Gotham Sun as he sweats in the trenchcoat and thick, armour-padded prototype jumpsuit that he's chosen for his new career venture. A gas mask hangs loosely around his neck.

"Christ, doesn't anything bad ever happen around here? Somebody please tell me the police band is picking up something by now."

Around the rest of the back of the innocuous vehicle are banks of monitors with a few technicians manning them - one operating a flight of drones, another listening in on police radio, and another using a computer to fish through social media and news stories online for something to work with.

    "Nothing, Mister Spade."

"Come on, Alejandro, I've told you already. When I'm in the outfit, it's not Mister Spade. It's Mister - hey, is that Booster Gold?"

One of the drones has spotted Booster photo bombing on the boardwalk.

"Isn't that the queer beach? Roll us on up there. If we can't find some damn crime, I can at least ask Booster about that app."

"Are you sure, Franklin? After last time? Didn't you get ice cream dumped down your -" the woman at the monitors starts to say.

"Look, I thought she was /joking/, okay? And I was /joking/ back," Franklin says as he knocks on the back of the front cabin. "Boardwalk! Let's go!"

The van turns off toward the beachside.
