Jubilation Lee     It's not too common for Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters to admit a new student, but when it happens, the school's most qualified student is summoned to show the newcomer around. Get them acclimated. Help them assimilate. And there's absolutely no one better at this, no one more connected to the school's social pipeline, no one more magnificent than... Wendy Fleeb, Resident Advisor. The perky blonde spent most of the late afternoon showing Billy Kaplan around, giving all the tips she had to offer ("if you get sick, the infirmary is /that/ way..." and "it's totally cool that you're a college student... you get to live in the apartments...") but the tour-as-designed was not destined to last forever.

"I'm going to Jean with this!" Wendy Fleeb's voice echoes through the mansion as she runs off to tend to her punched nose. Billy Kaplan's tour, it seems, was being hijacked by none other than...

"Sorry about her," Jubilation Lee mutters, even rolling her eyes behind her dark, Ray Ban sunglasses. "I tried to get to you guys sooner but I didn't think she'd be wasting all that time on the library." Jubilation moves in a glidey sort of way through the halls, though both of her feet strike the ground with each step. Her limbs seem to flow with an innate grace that appears otherwordly. Her skin is too smooth, too pale. Her hair, too shiny. And are those fangs or is that just a trick of the light? No time to wonder because it's time for the next stop on the tour.

"The kitchen," Jubilation announces, leaning forward to hold the door open for Billy, smiling a little. Her eye-contact is unyielding. "After you..."
Rogue Rogue was already in the kitchen. She's seated at the table with a bowl of captain crunch, Crunchberries, in front of her, and her phone in her left hand. She's laughing softly at a video of a kid in a canoe being pushed down a hillside, only to slam in to a tree. "Oh, tik Tolk. You never fail to entertain me..." The Belle says with a careless laugh, and a shake of her head while she lifts up another spoonfull of colorful berry treats to her mouth.

Dressed in jeans with the knees cut out, and a green tanktop with spaghetti straps over her shoulders, the Belle also has a green headband on, that is tied around her scalp holding her white and dark brown hair down. Her boots are a black leather, and her feet are tapping gently on the floor beneath the table.
Billy Kaplan Looking over his shoulder at the fleeing Wendy then back to Jubilation, Billy asks in a slight and nervous-sounding tone, "Is she...is she okay? Why did you punch her?" He pauses for a moment, as through perhaps he isn't going to go through the door to the kitchen. But a combination of New Person Compliance and the fact that he sees what apparently happens to people who displease Jubilation pushes him along. Into the kitchen he goes.

He's dressed in beat-up old jeans, an Among Us T-shirt, an unbuttoned flannel, and vintage Dockers. He idly twists a vape around in one hand to work out some nervous energy apparently. He keeps a healthy amount of space between Jubilation and himself without *looking* like he's keeping a healthy amount of space between Jubilation and himself.
Remy LeBeau You know who else is at the table? Remy LeBeau, that's who. He's at the table sitting across from Rogue, but instead of a phone and a bowl of captain crunch, he's got a poptart on a plate with a knife/fork while playing solitaire.

He casually flips cards from the deck in his palm, lazily laid out in his seat, "Is it dat video of da kids doing dat dance to the sea shanty someone wrote last year?" He bobs his head side to side, "There once was a ship that put to sea, the name of the ship was the Billy Ol' Tea." Casually tapping his knee on the bottom of the table for the beat.
Zandra Mitchell     Zandra 'Crocodile Mile' Mitchell has been just a little more popular around campus since she recently saved the day (technically night?) from what would have been a very uncomfortable slippy-slide experience. At least, popular with the students who don't think too deeply about the connotations of swimming inside someone who's turned themselves into a living water cascade. She might've also got told off by somebody for borrowing half of the pool's chlorinated water supply. She'd also ended up with a pretty bad tummy ache afterward, but a little chlorine poisoning isn't that big a deal if it's for a good cause!

Popping in from the door opposite the one Jubilee and Billy are coming from, she's wearing a peach-coloured button-down shirt, a silver cross necklace, and white capri pants, along with white waterproof sandals on her feet.

"Hey, do y'all have any grits?" she asks of the first person she spots - in this case, Rogue and Gambit. "I heard somebody done punched Wendy Fleeb in the nose. Dunno who did it, though."

How she heard that when she's coming from the other way - well, gossip travels fast in schools.
Jubilation Lee     Billy's question seems to draw out an expression that suggests a flood of confusion in Jubilation's face. Her uncharacteristic silence practically broadcasts it. "...What?" is her first response. In her universe, Fleebs exist to get punched. Or worse. Billy was /saved/ by Jubilee's fist. "Are you telling me that you'd rather be checking out the bandaids in the infirmary with Wendy Dweeb instead of learning how many Twizzler colors we have?"

Jubes stares at Billy for what might be a short eternity before she throws her palm into the air after a smooth flourish of movement. "Rogue, Remy, may I present..." The announcement stops there. Jubes hesitates before leaning in towards Billy. "Tell them your name," she stage-whispers for Billy (and all) to hear.

Before Jubilee has a chance to interrupt Billy with her own introduction, a lower-case T makes itself known. Shiny. Metal. Comes after 'S' and before 'U' Sacred to some. Holy even. An undisputed religious symbol. "Hey, Zan, tuck that in, would you?" Jubilee brings her hand up to her eyes, as though it might shield her from Zandra's cross.
Rogue Rogue shakes her head at Remy. "The Wellerman." She names the song he sings. "And nah, it's one'a the kids from that old tv show. The 70s one. The hot kid. They're pushin' him down a hill in a canoe, and then strappin'im up to the back of the other one's van and drivin' him around on the street." Rogue explains of the very important video.

With Zandra's arrival, Rogue smiles at her, then points to the cabinets on the southern wall. "Grits are there." She says, before then pointing to Remy. "Get him t'make them for ya though. He knows how t'do'em better than anyone else around here." She says with a smile toward the card player.

Jubilee and Billy arrive and the Belle sits up, sets her spoon down in the mostly finished bowl of cereal, then smiles at them both. She looks from Jubes, to Billy, and tilts her head. "Heya, Newbie." The southern gal greets him in her naturally sultry voice. "Welcome t'Mutant School."
Remy LeBeau 'The Wellerman' Remy repeats the name silently, moving his lips over the name of the song he'd been thinking. Though it has fallen to the back with Billy and Jubilee entering, Remy perking up to look over his shoulder at the pair with squinting red/black eyes. "Bonjour, mon ami." Waving his be-carded hands while Rogue is volunteering him to mix up a helping of grits.

Thankfully, the Cajun seems to realize the ''grits'' in this instance are not at all what Zandra was interested in. "Someone punch Wendy Fleeb?" Tut tutting under his breath, "Dat girl is too good at school. I don't trust nobody don't got NO dirt." His foot extends out beneath the table to rest on Rogue's knee, likewise waving to Zandra.
Zandra Mitchell     Zandra looks a bit bemused by the fact that she's being asked to tuck something in. She looks down. "You mean -" No, she said 'that,' not 'those.' She starts tucking the hem of her shirt into her capris, then - "- oh." She buttons the topmost button on her shirt, covering up the cross that's hanging from her neck. "Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, Jubilee! Guess you're not a Christian, huh." This must be what her parents had always told her about why they had her home schooled.

"Thanks, Miss Rogue. I don't mind makin' 'em, though." The girl smiles at Remy. "There's nothin' wrong with bein' good, though, right? Sometimes good people's just good people!"

She squints a little, then blurts out the question on her mind to Remy, "Do your eyes hurt?"
Jubilation Lee     "Remy, do you ever, like, switch these out for, you know, like, Uno or Phase Ten?" she wonders, a playful tone taking over. Jubilee's hand darts forward and pinches at the thin air, playing it off like a failed attempt to grab one of Gambit's cards right out of his hand. "I mean, don'tcha just wanna be firing off Draw Fours with both hands..." Jubes pretends to fling invisible cards from her hands, akimbo style, before grinning up at Remy. Fingertips even drag across the cajun's sleeve as Jubilation makes her way to one of the cabinets, predator eyes making a point to watch Rogue as she moves.

"No, no, I don't think there's a place behind those pearly gates for me, Zan," Jubes explains, her mouth curling into a little bit of a smile. Devious. Sultry. Frightening.
Rogue Rogue smiles at Zandra before shaking her head. "I heard you're a hell of a Croc Mile slider." She tells the newest student.

Outside in the Hallway, Billy goes walking by laughing with Wendy Fleeb who holds a Kleenex up to her nose. The pair seem to really be hitting it off as they walk off together.

Rogue tilts her head then as she looks back to Jubilee miming with the cards. "You didn't run outta steam with the Mile yet already did ya? I need a turn on it. I plan t'grease myself up from head t'toe this year, before I get my run at it."

Rogue stands up then and carries her bowl to the sink before rinsing it out and putting it in the washing machine thing that washes dishes.

"Course, if I do that, I'm gonna have t'charge a cover charge for folks t'watch." She says with a big bright smile.
Zandra Mitchell     "Well," Zandra starts to say, as if about to give Jubilee some sort of correction or reassurance in regards to the comment about her invitation to paradise, before pausing with the cabinet behind which the grits have been promised to wait halfway open and screwing her face up a bit. "I'm not sure how that'd work, actually. But you probably could make it!"

She fusses with the boxes and such that lurk in the cupboard, then starts blinking a couple of times as she overhears what Rogue is planning on doing with the Crocodile Mile. "That sounds like it might be fun, Miss Rogue. D'you think people would pay for it?"

She spies Wendy walking past with the Kleenex. "Jeez Louise. I never thought Wendy'd make someone so ornery they'd punch her. I reckon she seemed pretty nice." She gets a packet of grits out of the cupboard and goes around to fetch a bowl, adding water before stuffing it into a microwave and hitting a few buttons. "Thanks for lettin' me know, Miss Rogue! I'll be back in a jiffy. I'm just gonna make sure Wendy's alright."

With that, she heads off to try and be a good neighbour to Wendy Fleeb!
Jubilation Lee     "/Grease/?" Jubilation repeats, eyebrows hiked up a little above her totally-wearing-them-inside sunglasses. "Are you suggesting that you're going to ignore the very clear and binding safety instructions of the good folks that sold that long sheet of plastic to kids across America?" She holds that mock surprise for a moment before grinning widely, fangs aplenty. But then... it fades as Billy, then Remy, then Zandra all head out of the kitchen in favor of time spent with Wendy or Wendy Adjacent.

    "What. The. Fu---"

The cabinet door that Jubilee was idly holding onto is suddenly ripped from its hinges and sent flying across the kitchen, smashing into the glass front of one of the microwaves. Rage. Death. Murder. "I'm going to the Danger Room," is all Jubilee says before moving quickly for one of the doors. Someone's going to die tonight. With any luck, it'll be a Danger Room construct. Or, at the very least, a freshman.
Rogue Rogue is in the process of making herself a cup of tea from the teapot that was already on the stove. She looks over to Zandra and gives her a grin. "Damn right they'll pay. If not, then I need t'reconsider my Only Fans channel havin' any value." She's kidding. Probably.

The words from Jubilee gets a grin initially from Rogue before the incident with the door takes place, and the cracking noise.

This draws Rogue's eyes up to take in the damage, and the fleeing Duchess. "Try an' stay calm down there! I mean, there's a few new simulations for you specifically! Fleeb Protocol Zero One Niner!"

"She probably heard none of that..." Rogue mutters with her cup of tea now as she walks back to the table to get her phone and join Remy out on the back patio.
