Mary Jane Watson Mary Jane Watson likes this area. It's generally quiet and not as populated as other parks in the city. It lets her have some time to reflect and think about herself. So on this day, the breeze is heavier than normal and the girl is wearing a jacket. Over on her back underneath the jacket are concealed a pair of heavy, reinforced batons. Sonja's sword is not on her. She seems lost in thought.
Angela     One of the problems with living in Midgard, especially this planet, is having a lot of free time. The call for Angela's particular set skills isn't as common as she had hoped and, despite being able to fly fast enough to escape Earth's gravitational pull, it just isn't fast enough to explore the galaxy.

So she had asked a stranger what there is to do with ones time in the city, and one of the suggestions was to go to the park. So here she is. In the park. It's nice, she supposes, a little dull perhaps.

That is, until she spies a familiar face. "Hail, Sonja!" she calls out, but then notices MJ's posture and how she walks. "Sonja's other. Hello. Sonja did not tell me your name."

Angela is dressed as Angela always dresses. Space bikini, winged helm, sword strapped across her rump. It's enough that others give her a wide berth.
Mary Jane Watson Mary Jane Watson would take a moment to glance over at Angela and smile, "Hey, how are you doing Angela?" She would give a curtsy, "Forgive me, I didn't ask. Is it all right to be informal with you like this or do you prefer a somewhat more regulated style of speech?" It was a polite thing to do; to ensure that she matched the etiquette the otehr woman was used to.
Whether or not it was necessary.
"You can call me Mary Jane. A pleasure to meet you myself."
Angela     Angela dips her head in greeting. "You do not have to change your style of speech for me," she says. "It is not required." She shrugs indifferently, "But I will not stop you should you choose so."

Her white eyes survey the surroundings before turning back to her redheaded companion. "I have been advised that coming to the park is something one can do in their leisure time, but I am at a loss for what to do."
Mary Jane Watson Mary Jane Watson would nod, "No, but it's still polite to offer so." She would gesture over at Angela, "I would consider it a pleasure to accompany you and hopefully help you find something to pass the time with. If you don't mind it being primarily myself. I find the park to be.."
She would consider how to phrase it. "Relaxing. It gives somewhere green and.. Natural, at least by the standards of MIdgard, to lose yourself in for awhile>"
Angela     "Then it would be an pleasure to walk with you, Mary Jane," Angela says, her tone softening almost perceptively. Her ribbons settle behind her, lazily waving in the wind. "There are no parks in Heaven, and the wilderness is wild and untamed. It is a dangerous place to be."
Mary Jane Watson Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Thank you. It's nice to have company. Just to go around and to be able to talk with someone." It's not often that both she and Sonja are on good terms with someone. "How did you end up in MIdgard? The few Asgardian's I've met tend to not take down.. Merceanry work here."
Angela     Angela scowls at the mention of Asgardians. "I am no Asgardian," she nearly spits. "They are filled with lies and treachery. I am from Heaven, the tenth realm that was cut from the branches of Yggdrasil by Odin himself. As for how I got here..." her scowl changes from one of scorn to one of consternation. "I do not know. A dimensional rift of some kind threw me here. I have searched for a way back, but so far my efforts have proven fruitless."
Mary Jane Watson Mary Jane Watson would nod, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up a sore point." She would nod at Angela. "I'm not the most fluent in things but I do know a.. Few people who are familiar with magic. I don't know if they would be of any help, but if it would be useful for you I could try and get in touch wiht them."
Angela     Angela's expression turns thoughtful. "I would appreciate the help," she concludes. "What would they want in return?"
Mary Jane Watson Now Mary Jane knows how to handle thigs. Angela thinks everything has a price. "You to work for them in some degree I'd guess. They would probably have need of your skillset so you would likely do tasks for them in return for thier assistance."
Angela     Angela considers this exchange. "I find this agreeable. Their assistance for mine." She stops in her tracks, feet apart, back straight and hand on the handle of Xiphon. "What would I owe you for arranging our meeting?"
Mary Jane Watson Mary Jane Watson would consider for a moment. Ordinarily she might say 'I owe you nothing' but that would likely make Angela very, very wary. No matter hwo she phrased it.. "Myself and Sonja need others to spar with and to help train us. Sonja's combat style matches little in this world."
Angela     Angela almost grins, "This I can do. It will be good to have a sparring partner of Sonja's caliber. Give me a time and a location and I will be there."
Mary Jane Watson Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Lovely. Presuming the ones I mention you to are interested, then they'll find a way to get in touch with you." Not necessarily through her. "And I'll find you when I have a place for us to work and we can arrange a time."
Angela     Angela nods curtly, "I await your contact, then." Her nostrils flare as she catches the scent of something. "I must depart. It was good walking with you, Mary Jane." Her ribbons shift agitatedly as she lifts off the ground and disappears into the air.
Mary Jane Watson Mary Jane Watson would nod, "Of course. Thank you for the conversation. It's good to have something to have to help progress your own abilities. Make haste."
