Owner Pose
Oliver Queen It has been a spell since Oliver Queen paid a visit to the Hellfire Club. But when his accountant pinged him to ask if he should continue to pay dues to this club, it reminded Oliver that he should at least stop by to get something out of it. Why pay for an all-inclusive membership if you're not going to use it, right?

He is dressed in the latest Janet van Dyne line of menswear, and looking pretty dapper for himself as he strides into the VIP Lounge. Being Oliver Queen, of course, he heads straight to the bar.
Emma Frost The former White Queen of the HEllfire Club comes and goes as is appropriate. Emma Frost is currently taking a sip of some wine while absently looking over some notes of the structure of the club. Even no longer a member, she does try to keep tabs on the activities of the Inner Circle.

As Oliver walks into the club, Emma goes to make the notes vanish, "Mister Queen."
Oliver Queen "Ah, Miss Frost. How are you?" Oliver turns and gives her a bright smile as he raises a hand in salute. He leans up against the bar and taps it twice, nodding to the bartender and then turning his attention back to the wealthy industrialist. "Keeping busy as always, I assume?"
Emma Frost Emma Frost would glance at Oliver, "Mister Queen< I hope that business has been well. Admittedly not too well." The two did compete at times when it came to business after all. There's a smile on Emma's face as she sits back
Oliver Queen "Yeah, well. My mother runs a tight ship." Oliver flashes Emma a grin. "So I mostly get to go around on the dog and pony shows as we continue the migration to be a carbon neutral company." He shrugs. "It's been a lot of work, and some of our stock holders aren't so happy, but the public response has been tremendous.'
Emma Frost Emma Frost would nod, "Yes, so good to have those whom run your affairs for you and not have to manage things yourself. Tell me Mister Queen, if at any point you find that is no longer available, whatever will you do? It's a serious question."
Oliver Queen Arching an eyebrow, Oliver regards Emma. "You mean if my mother dies?" He reaches over as the bartender slides the drink across, and takes a sip. "I mean, I suppose the board would find someone with a longer resume than mine to run the company. But this is part of the succession plan - I focus on this objective, and I can learn all of the ins and outs of our business."
Emma Frost Emma Frost would nod at Oliver, "Yes. And what are your thoughts then for how you'd keep tabs on the board. But.. Do forgive me Mister Queen, I'm trying to deal with a friend that was rather disinvolved from their company and when the board took over they began to.. Engage in aggressive reneogitations."
Oliver Queen A nod at that. "I'd appreciate any wisdom you have to share. You have far greater business acumen than I do." Oliver sips at his drink. It's not flattery, it's known fact. Emma is on the cover of magazines as a brilliant businesswoman. Oliver is for getting into trouble with Daddy's money.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would fold her fingers, "Ensure that you retain a strong grip on the board and that your mother tells you waht buttons to push with them. And pay enough attention to the company that you're at least seen as a viable controller of it."
Oliver Queen "So I need to do something beyond this initiative, otherwise they won't take me seriously." Oliver nods. "That's a good point. I mean, my mother is nowhere near ready to retire, but at some point, I'm sure she'd like to."
Emma Frost Emma Frost would nod, "Exactly. And it means that you get to spend more time with her, which I'm sure that she would appreciate. And it gives you a better understanding of the sorts of things she does so it's respectful."
Oliver Queen "That's..." Oliver smiles, and brings his glass to his lips. "Thank you, Miss Frost. That's amazing advice." He laughs, and sets his glass back down. "I came in here for a drink, and a left with a study in how to be a CEO and a son." He grins. "Never would have thought that."
Emma Frost Emma Frost would dip her head, "Be appreciative of her and what she's done for you. It can be lost all too quickly. And it will help reassure her that her family legacy isin good hands. And not to be wasted away. Look at what has become of the Waynes."
Oliver Queen That one seems to hit Oliver hard, and he nods. "Yeah. True. That is..." He shrugs, and smiles at Emma. "I appreciate the advice." He taps the bar twice and nods to the bartender, and then looks back to Emma. "This was a great chat. We should chat more, Miss Frost." He extends his hand.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would nod at Oliver, "Of course. I do hope that you're well and do forgive me for bringing up something of a bad reminder. But it's never too late to see just how things all fall apart. Do keep that in mind. Particularly of reputation. So quickly strippeda way."
Oliver Queen Oliver Queen nods. "No, it is a good reminder, indeed." He smiles towards her. "I have to head out, but seriously. Thank you."
