Owner Pose
Beroe Kazinski A very open area with lots of people, well, enough people. Beroe is coming up to the order window and smiling to the person behind the counter, "A chocolate strawberry shake, a double patty and cheese burger, plus if you could, the fries, could you add a bit of pepper to them?" She grins, teeth and all, and offers, "You all are always so nice. Thank you for that." And when she pays, she adds on a tip about the same size as the meal itself. It's a stretch for the woman if she did that everyday but service folks deserve the benefit.

Once her food and shake are done, she gets them and heads to a table to sit. Smiling at a few random strangers, she even offers a small wave, then she pulls out her phone. Turning on the camera she's flipping it to a selfie, putting up a V for victory with a good shot of the Burger and Shake as she melodramatically pretends to be going in for a bite even without the burger in hand. Then, snap, and off to her IG feed with a caption <<Super awesome staff to match the great burger and shake>>. Then it's time to check in on her feeds, even as likes start flying in on her photo.
Booster Gold The door opens, but no one comes in. Odd, perhaps, but then a few moments later it starts. There is music from...somewhere. A rhythmic pumping. It starts soft, and then it starts getting louder. Like the kind of music they play at basketball games to pump up the crowd.

Folks start looking around, somewhat in confusion. Who would expect that? Then, the music gets louder, and then, as it reaches a crescendo, the door opens and in strides a man in a shiny gold costume with blue accents. As if on cue (and frankly, it is) a voice comes from near there the music is - a somewhat digitized voice.

"Oh my god, is that Booster Gold!??!?" There is a brief sound of what sounds like applause - again, all emanating from that one spot, beneath a table somewhere.

Bosoter Gold holds up his hands and waves down, as if to silence the crowd that seemingly only exists in his head and this recording. "No, please, thank you, just enjoy your meals, no autographs, please." He pauses. "Well, maybe later." And with that, he continues on his way to get into line to order.
Beroe Kazinski Mid-bite, the music starts. Beroe doesn't notice. She continues to eat, even as it gets louder. Then louder, and she's sucking down some of her shake. People looking around, nope, nada. Nothing. She's still just off in her own little world and then a comment comes in on her Instagram as she has a straw between her lips, <<Is that the same Shake where Booster Gold is?!>> And a quick picture of him waving comes in, and Beroe's eyes get wide.

A bit dumbfounded she looks around with her eyes open at this point. Then, she sees him, BOOSTER GOLD! She squeals, and shakes some, she quickly gets up and squeals again. Literally, it's loud, and she starts moving forward with her camera focused on her, "Ohmygodohmygod. I'm going in. Everyone wish me luck. It's Booster Gold. I'm so nervous!" She let's out a big grin and posts her quick vid of walking and the last squeal.

"Excuse me, mister gold. Excuse me!?" She tries to speak up coming at the line from the side, "Sorry, sorry, I'm not cutting in line... just, wanting to say hello." To the people around Booster as she giggles, hopping up and down a bit on her platform heeled boots, and waving to get her hand up above the people even though she's only a few feet from the hero. "Not to bother you, hello. Oh my god!" She can't contain the excitement.
Booster Gold For a man with his own entrance music, Booster Gold seems remarkably surprised at being noticed, and then approached. The confusion washes over his face quickly though, and he slides into that legendary Booster Gold charm.

"Why hello there!" He says, beaming her his million dollar smile. Or at least his $200 smile - orthodontia is a lot less expensive in the future. "You can do more than say hello!" He reaches out to offer a hand for a high five. "As it so happens I was just coming to enjoy a shake, and I am off-duty and without any companions. Would you care to join me for a shake?"

There is a definitely huff of annoyance from somewhere beneath a table. "What am I, chopped circuitry?" a metallic synthesized voice mutters.
Beroe Kazinski Stomping on the ground, yes, back and forth, like a kid who just won the popsicle of the day, pulling her arms in and just being enthused in every possible way, Beroe tries to stand up straight. "It is, a real, pleasure, and thank you, that you." And when the hand is offered for a high five her eyes light up and she just hits it. Smack. Not terribly hard for a person powered by a super suit, but had he been a normal person it may of stung, and it does sting Beroe's hand as she uses her full fangirl force in that high-five. Ignoring the stinging, she cradles the hand a moment with her other hand, and is still smiling, unable to stop.

"Oh my god, really? They're the best here, so amazing, and yes. I have a table, oh my god. Me? Really, can I get a picture? Please? For my Insta feed? I mean, my followers, they won't believe I met you. Could, I , and then, the table, I'll show you!" She's speaking fast, excited, and like she might explode with the amount of energy her enthusiasm is generating.
Booster Gold Booster seems to feed off the excitement of the girl. "Yes, of course!" he says, as he inches up to the front of the line. He orders a strawberry shake, and then nods to Beroe. "She's buying," he murmurs, stepping to the side to allow Beroe the honor of paying for his shake.

"so you're an influencer, huh? Influencers love me. I bring in tons of excitement to their channels."

He leans over to whisper towards Beroe, but doesn't do it particularly softly. "Make ya a deal - get then involved. Ask them what you should do with me, and I'll do whatever the popular vote it." He winks at her.

"Let's see what your fans think."
Beroe Kazinski "Oh, uh, yeah, I am buying." And Beroe kind of reaches to the right, her arm kind of 'disappears' like she were putting it into a jar but the jar makes everything invisible, then she pulls it back to here and opens up her clutch wallet, pulling a card from it and then grinning, "My, my pleasure." She beams to Booster and puts the food on her card, then she has to double the tip again, can't not do it this time when she did last time. Expensive shack meal, but it's BOOSTER!

And she turns her attention back to him, after getting her card again, boop. It goes back into that weird space where her arm disappeared and when it comes back 'out' there's no clutch in hand. "Me? OH, yeah, I am! Is it, that obvious?! I mean, of course it is, to you! You are king of the social media world. When you smile, in your pictures, you get like two and a half times more likes, people really like your smile." She offers, "-I- really like your smile, not that it matters as much, but, oh, right."

And she reaches to her left this time, and snatches her phone before she turns on the camera and has it as a selfie, "Oh, that's SUCH a good idea!" She offers and then turns it on them both grinning big, "Say Booster!" And then she says Boooster, like it were 'cheese' to try and snap a good photo of her near Booster as he leans in. Mostly their faces, and she starts typing away at it, to send off the vote request Booster suggested.

"Oh, can I carry it for you? I would LOVE it if you sat at my table, I mean, I would be honored. From... you know, one crime fighter to another. Though, I'm like a baby hero compared to you!" She's all genuine smiles, and compliments.
Booster Gold The disappearing arm trick definitely earns an eyebrow from Booster. He is thick, but not quite that thick. He says nothing about it for the moment, though, as he is easily distracted by the thing that cuts right to the heart of everything he does - praise!

"Wait, is that for real?" Booster tilts his head to look at Beroe, and then he smiles. Not quite the Booster smile, this is definitely a fake-o smile, but he's putting effort into it. "I _knew_ the smile worked!" he declares, at no one in particular. Which is immediately replaced by "Wait, you know that about me?" Which is immediately replaced by an expression of actual surprise, giving way to a slight blush, and then - well, it may just be the Booster Goldingist Booster Gold smile ever. "You like my smile?" Apparently, it does matter. To him. A lot.

As she draws the phone for a selfie, Booster knows what it is. He is in tons of those! Admittedly, it's usually as a photo bomb, but in this case, HE is the main attraction! He leans down and presses his cheek next to Beroe's, smushing it a bit in the process as he smiles into the camera. "BOOSTER!" he says, on demand.

"I mean, if you insist," he says, allowing her to take his shake. He nods and moves to follow her. "The honor is mine," he says, although the crime fighter bit... "So you're more than just an influencer? Is it that..." He reaches around with his free hand, behind her back, to tickle the opposite side of her ribs. Apparently his best approximation of her power.

The baby hero line though? "Ouch, I'm not _that_ old..." he says, giving her a good look over again.
Beroe Kazinski There's a quick, "Mmm hmmm." To the question about the likes and smiles and things, Beroe wonders, "I mean, I am certainly just talking to someone who gets it, but yeah, it's an approximation, but you probably know better than me. Gotta stay on top of those analytics, right?" Beroe beams as she giggles at the, presumed, ignorance of how social media, pictures, analyzing the data works, cause clearly Booster can't be that thick. Not to her.

After the picture, she is now getting lots of little lights blinking and popping in, but she ignores it for now. She's got a shake to carry, and she quickly walks a few steps, then turns, and smiles, and does that fangirl vibrate thing, where nearly her whole body shakes in enthusiasm, as she quickly gets to her table and sits. Settling his shake across the way.

"I think your smile is SUPER, charming, and all." The tickle question gets her to laugh, but not from the tickle, just a big smile, "Oh, yeah. I'm..." She sits up straight, chest pushed out a bit in hero-sit-posture, "Beroe. Newly minted crime fighter, rescuer of people, and all around newbie Hero. That's what I meant, n-not that you are old. Or anything, more like, I'm weak and new at this heroing thing, and you, your the ... gold standard." She offers, grinning. "But, yeah, I'm a sort-of-sometimes influencer, I do my best, but I'm branching out."
Booster Gold It not so much that Booster doesn't understand the analytics as much as he does not even know that such analytics exist. But that's ok, with a brilliant enough smile you can get anywhere. At least that's what his momma always told him.

Booster moves along with Beroe and pays close attention - he sees that shake, and his shake, and her shake, ALL the shakes. And finds them all rather appealing. He slides into her table, choosing to sit next to her instead of across from her. Better for the camera, naturally.

"Well, I think you're entire..." He waves his hand around vaguely to indicate her form. "Everything, is super charming. And delightful." He smiles at her, and this - this is a genuine. She can probably even tell the difference - it is not as squinty in the eyes, not as deliberate or affected. "Pleased to meet you, Beroe, crime fighter." He reaches over with his hand to give her an overly dramatic shake of her hand as he leans back into his seat. Then he glances around for a moment, and his tone turns serious. Or as serious as Booster gets. "So, aside from the influencer stuff...what do you do, as a hero? It's not the safety of jobs, and you look..."

He looks at her again, and odds are he was about to say something that could be taken offensively. Dismissively. He pivots at the last moment. "You look great, but I worry about all new heroes."
Beroe Kazinski Oh boy do those analytics exist, and for Beroe it's second nature, she looks at, plots, analyzes them daily to figure out what shots are getting what results. And keeps improving, as best she can, the notes she has on these things are probably wild scribbles but they end up working bit by bit.

Taking her shake, she slurps up some of it, and then smiles big around it as she's complimented, "Really?! You think so? I mean, I double up, and all. This skirt, it's a little goth shop that's selling it, and the boots come from a more medium-ish, brand retail, which has a few brick and mortar stores, and the top is just... well, mine. Same with the jacket, the belt is ... is..." She looks down at it, and then leans in conspiratorially laughing a bit, "To be honest, I forget, I thiiiiink it was a gift from a follower. Please don't tell anyone, I could look at my feed, I did a big thank you tribute tiktok, but it's been a bit."

Then she nods her head, a few times, and smiles, "Well, a bit. I have stopped 1 robbery, an attempted theft, helped recover a vehicle stolen, and looking to do more." The hand shake was returned, of course, but she mentions, "I know... it isn't safe." A softer tone intervenes, and she looks down a bit, "But, those of us, you know. With powers, we have a responsibility, a drive, to ... do what we can." And she then blushes, and squishes down in her seat a little, "I'm preaching to the choir, here, but ..." She shrugs, "I want to be ... great. I will be ... great. Someday. Like you."
Booster Gold It may not have been for the best to give Booster an excuse to thoroughly examine Beroe's attire. Or perhaps that is exactly what she wanted. Either way, he leans in and takes a very distinct interest in each of the items, nodding as she describes their provenance. "If I ever wore anything other than this one suit, I suppose I could consider wearing gifts from my fans, but..." He trails off for a moment. "It looks much better on you."

There are times when Booster Gold is ON, and there are times when Booster Gold is...well, more like a person, and less like a caricature. It doesn't slip out often. But when it does...

He leans over towards Beroe, lowering his voice towards a whisper. This is for her and her alone, not the other patrons, or her influencers. "Listen, if you want a model of who is great, I can take you to meet some of them. They can give you far better guidance than I can." He reaches around to put an arm around her shoulder and give a squeeze. "But you already know the number one lesson to being a hero - knowing that your purpose is to help others."
Beroe Kazinski First, a compliment on her choice of outfit? Beroe is ecstatic and smilin, and then there's the lean in. The words come to her, and Booster is being so humble, she blinks a few times, and is smiling in that way that says she's so happy and proud to be in the moment right now she could cry. Her phone isn't currently recording, though she can't help but take a few snapshots here and there, and she lets her shoulders fall some, "Mister Gold, Booster, um..." She has to fight to swallow back her happy bawling, as she raises her hands up to her heart, intertwining her fingers, "It means. So much, so very very much to me. I ... I would meet anyone you'd suggest. And, the fact..." she takes in a deep breath, "That you think I'm already at lesson one for being a hero, it's. It means more than you know."

And with that she takes in a breath and chuckles a little bit, "And, yeah, you probably wouldn't look that great in a miniskirt. I mean, I am sure it'd get likes, you have very nice legs. But..." She tries to deflect her awe crying with a few easy soft teasing jokes, "I can't believe I was so lucky as to meet you today."
Booster Gold It takes a few moments for Booster Gold to temper his enthusiasm. It is so rare for him to connect with anyone, connect for real, and he wants to give her a squeeze and keep her forever. But that might be frowned upon before they at least finish their first shakes together. "Please, call me Booster," he murmurs softly, his eyes following her movements. Taking it in. Someone genuinely happy to meet him. "I'm being honest. You'd be surprised how many people with powers think at first it's about the glory and the popularity." He doesn't say that that was him, to a tee. And maybe still us. "I can ask the Watchtower if they'd allow guests. Not sure who all is up there, but..."

He thinks for a moment. "Are you saying I don't have the legs to pull that off?" Booster looks at her, and seems to be almost serious for a moment. "You give it to me, and I'll give it a shot." Then he laughs. "Maybe it was just fate," he murmurs, before nodding towards her phone. "So, what's the verdict from your fans?"
Beroe Kazinski "Booster, it is!" Beroe responds near immediately to the comment. And she listens to the words about glory and popularity and her eyes get softer, disheartened a little, but not by much. "Well, maybe with their popularity they can still do good, right? With lots of people following them, or interested, it still inspires others even if they don't have as pure of heart as you do... Booster." She squeals a little into a giggle, unable to stop fidgeting a bit. Literally fangirling out.

"The Watchtower? I'd, I w-w-would be honored to..." And she pauses when you talk about your legs and she rolls her eyes, "Come on, you could. If I'm being honest, probably better than I am. I've always been jealous of strong legs, just a bit." She holds up a hand with thumb and forefinger separating a small amount. Then she ohs and grabs a sip of her shake as she pulls up her phone.

Blushing she offers, "Oh, uh, they haven't fully weighed in yet." She comments and suggests, "It's the internet, you know, so it can take a while..." She grins and puts the phone back down facedown, as she wonders, "I know I really like all the attention, but for you, I'm probably taking up so much of your time saving people." Looking around, she does see some people looking their way and offers quick happy waves to them, "Maybe we should go, or something and get you back to it? Or whatever it is you were up to before I stole all your time?"
Booster Gold "I mean, that's true. I would like to think I've inspired some folks to become heroes over the course of my day," says Booster, that confidence starting to lift again. "I mean, you got there all on your own, but I am sure someone, somewhere, saw me, and pointed, and said - I wanna be like that guy!" He grins for a moment, turning to look at her fidgets. It would be easy for him to misinterpret her reactions to being about him, and not about simply being around a superhero. And since it is Booster, easy usually wins out.

"We'll make it happen." He pauses. "Is there any hero you particularly want to meet? Maybe I can find a way to make it happen." He thinks on the legs comment. And the skirt. He ponders, and he leans over, lowering his voice a little bit. "If you _really_ wanted to see that...no cameras, though." He winks at her.

The idea that he is giving up his hero saving time by spending it with her brings him back to a bit of reality. "Uh, actually, I have the whole night off. So, you know, if you wanted to do something after the shakes..." He reaches up and rubs the back of his head. "You're not stealing any time. I'm enjoying spending my time with you. And you can have plenty of it, if you wanted."
Beroe Kazinski "It is definitely true." Beroe offers and nudges a little with her shoulder, "I wanna be like ... that guy." She offers, before giggling at the skirt comment. It gives her an image of pure joy and she shakes her head, "Noooo, it's okay. I think I'll keep my skirts, thank you very much, and live in the delusion that it still is better on me."

Though there's the question about which super hero she'd really really want to meet and she offers, "I would really love to meet Supergirl. I've been fond of her style for forever, and I wonder how she gets her hair to always be so - wavy - you know?" And then she grins, "But I've met a really wonderful super hero already today!" And then there's the comment about having the 'whole night off'. Which, if it was her, wouldn't even be an option. How do you take a whole night off from saving people? But she gets excited instead, smiling big, and closing her eyes, then she is grabbing her burger, wrapping it up, and pushing it through whatever 'space' trick she's doing where her arms kind of disappear, and then she does the same thing to her fries. Keeping the shake with her though, she squeals as she stands, "Really!? You'll hang out with me? Oh my god oh my god oh my gooooooood!"

From this angle where Booster is, he can pick out that the holes aren't just invisibility causing they seem to open up into a space with fruits and veggies, shelves, looks awfully white inside. A fridge? Is she reaching into a fridge to put her food there?
Booster Gold Booster smiles warmly towards Beroe. "Well, I am glad that I can be an inspiration, then." The talk of the skirts forces his gaze down, and he glances over her legs again and chuckles. "No, trust me, it is definitely _way_ better on you." He grins as he looks at her. "I'm just saying that...." He trails off, and shakes his head. "Nevermind."

There's a nod to Supergirl. "She is cool. Definitely cool, I can see what I can do. But she is also _super_ busy. She doesn't go in for rotation at all, so she is tougher to pin down. But I can see what I can do, for sure." He watches as she executes her trick, looking around to see where it goes, and then he nods. That seems to be making some sense to him now, as if he has figured out whatever her power is. Certainly a handy one. "And yeah, totally. What would you want to do?" He hops up to stand as well as she does, bringing his shake with him. "Or do we need to check and see what your fans want us to do?" He leans in against her to peer down at her phone."
Beroe Kazinski "An inspiration? You are more than an inspiration, you are Booster Gold. THE Booster Gold." And Beroe grins and kind of does one of those anime girl poses with one of her feet pulled up, bent at the knee, as she turns her body a bit to pose, "Thank you! I hope it sells, the owner of the store is a really nice lady. And she's had a hard time of it, but small businesses, tough things to get up and running." As if everyone knows what it's like to start off small, build a brand, sell some product.

Then she stands up, "Well, maybe we should check on my feed, in a few more minutes?" Her face lightly blushes again, "It IS the internet, and don't want to jump on whatever zaney weird idea they have before everyone gets a voice." Though she doesn't look at it just yet, holding it in her other hand, "And yeah, I get it. Supergirl is supergirl. Right? She likely wouldn't have time to talk to someone like me, what with, the kinds of big problems you and her must run into regularly." She lets out a breath that causes her lips to flutter some, and then she adds, "We could walk a little in the park? Yeah. That's a great idea!" And she starts heading off in that direction, away from the shack.
Booster Gold It's hard to tell what gets Booster Gold smiling like an idiot more, her comments about him or her pose. He is certainly relishing both of them. "Well, like I said, maybe a bona fide super hero wearing her skirt will help!" He leans over to whisper into her ear. "And I mean you, not me. Although I'd be willing to try."

There is a soft laugh, and Booster shakes his head. "No, it's not that. I mean, I can get you to Superman, easy peasy. Supergirl is just..." He considers his word choice carefully, and leans over, whispering into her ear again. "This can't go on your blog, but she's kind of flighty, if you know what I mean."

He straightens a bit, and then she is off! "Yeah, let's take a walk. Maybe we can see some heroing that needs to be done..." He slips away from the table, and heads out to follow her.

A tiny little mechanical voice sighs softly as the two exit the restaurant. "He forgot me," laments Skeets.
