Owner Pose
Kurt Wagner     Everyone has muscles. Sometimes, mutants have muscles unique to them. Wolverine's muscles to extend and retract his claws are unique to the biology that mutated in him. He didn't get that from his parents. Sometimes, it's not so much muscles as much as it is energetic organelles like new mitochondria that provide a new wellspring a mutant might draw from.
It really isn't clear what organ or organelle is necessary for a power like teleportation, but it is clear that it works like a muscle. By practice and training, Kurt not only keeps it strong, but it's how he got from only teleporting a few meters to a few miles. Standing atop the mansion, he focuses on a building quite a distance away and disappears.

There's that faint smell of rotten eggs as Kurt is simply moved by his unusual, mutated locomotion.

Back, though about twenty meters up from the courtyard.

Kurt does a roll on the green grass leading up to the mansion. He stretches a bit, shaking out his limbs. "Oof!" he says cheerfully after he's on his feet, jogging in place. "Exhilerating!"
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix is entering in to the front area of Xavier's and wandering about. She's inspeting things for anything that seems amiss. The last time she did spend an extended period out here beyond going in and out was when the courtyard was invaded by vampires thanks to Ms. Lee's less than amicable courtship. So at the point she hears a series of loud noises accompanied by the roughs mell of brimstone she hesitates..
Then she realizes who it is and she visibly relaxes. "Mister Wagner, I hope that everything finds you well today. You appear to be rahter enthusiastic. Whatever has your attention if that is polite to inquire?" M would ask up to him as she would let her eyes wander around thoughtfully while scanning the front yard for anything else that would stand out.
Kurt Wagner     Kurt stops and turns. He's in a silver track suit over his furry, blue body. "Ah!" he says, raising an ungloved hand. He's also barefoot, possibly because of his difficulty in finding shoes that fit. "Mademoiselle St. Croix, yes?" Lowering his hand, he jogs toward her, rather than bamfing his way there. When he approaches closer so he doesn't need to raise his voice, he replies, "Just exercising," he says. "I am alright. No need to worry."
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would nod, "Correct, MIster Wagner." She would reply to confirm his assumption. "I hope that your exercise finds you well. Are you working over on your powers or physical abilities?" Kurt was one of the most acrobatic beings she had seen; whether at the Mansion or out in the field.
Kurt Wagner     Kurt offers a smile. "I am one," he says. "Soul incarnate in this humble mutant," he continues, bowing his head slightly and putting his hands on his chest. "Though, I suppose we do need a word for it. 'Leg Day' but for those things we have that God has brought out in our mutations." He smiles. "We'll call today distance training, ja? I think I have plateaued, but this may be a wall of mein perception."
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would nod and shrug, "I'm sure that one of the other teachers that is more familiar with you could give some advise and suggestions if you feel you are not pushing yourself, Mister Wagner." She would allow after a moment of thought. "I do not believe we have interacted moreso than casually before."
Kurt Wagner     "Ja," Kurt nods. He extends a hand. "It's a pleasure to actually meet you, Mademoiselle St. Croix," he says. "You seem like a very driven young woman."
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would smile, "Thank you Mister Wagner. You are just as charming as Mister Lebeau thinks that he is."
Kurt Wagner     The blue-furry man runs his fingers through his hair. "Mademoiselle, you would make me blush!" He puts his hands on his hips. He doesn't have dad-bod, but he's definitely not dressed particularly cool. "I'm not flirting, though. You seem very driven. It's a good quality, ja? Just be careful you don't get burnt out."
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would shrug, "I am the best. That is something that must be continuously showcased. If I am not at my peak form, then how will others know that I am better than they are?" Something that she seemed to take pride in!
Kurt Wagner     Kurt lets out a sigh through a weary smile. "In humility, consider others better than yourself," he quotes. "Those who seek to be great among you must be your servant, and he who would be first among you should be slave to all." He stuffs his hands in his pockets of his track suit jacket. "In Paul's weakness, Christ's strength was shown. Be careful that you don't fall, Fraulein. It's a long fall from the top."
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would shrug, "But that would be giving others credit that they are not due. If I am better than they are why should they not acknowledge it? It is best for them to understand someone that is better than they are."
Kurt Wagner     Kurt tries on another smile, but it's less sincere. "I would rather be a doorman in the kingdom of our Lord than a king on Earth. Why else do you think I put my life on the line for others? It's not for their praise; it's for their lives, and maybe even their souls."
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would shrug, "I do not consider others my servants. I merely presume that in areas that I have superior knowledge or skill than they do for it to be acknowledged if necesary. And I see no reason to not display said things."
Kurt Wagner     Kurt shakes his head. "Hell is not a place you rule over," he says. "It is a private torture room where the prideful will be isolated for all eternity." He puts on a more playful smile. "Still, if you are as perfect as you say, the wages of sin is death, so perhaps you will outlive us all, ja?"
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would glance at Kurt, "Forgive me, Mister Wagner, but that seems excessively melodramatic. And I do not believe such things." Her tone is flat. "My family is Muslim and on that matter we strongly disagree, with all respect. Being more skilled in an area than someone else merely showcases one's specialties and areas of focus of knowledge."
Kurt Wagner     "We do," Kurt says. "Do you know what I did yesterday? I was angry with someone who called me some very nasty things. I calmed myself down, but I did it. To be angry at someone is the same as murder. I am very grateful I have a savior in Jesus, and not just a warrior prophet. I would not be able to earn my own salvation on my own. Still," he says, putting on that polite smile again. "You're the superior one. Maybe you've found your own way into heaven, ja?"
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would shrug, "You are a very kind man, Mister Wagner. A better one than most." Perhaps she even includes herself in that category. Monet is at least honest on that level. About who she is and what she is. "I do appreciate that you believe your tenets and also practice them." She would go on. "And I have a different view of what such a concept is."
Kurt Wagner     Kurt extends a hand again in an offer to shake Monet's. "I care about you, Mademoiselle," he informs her. "I don't want to have to, but if it comes down to it, I would give my life for you. I trust that you, being superior, would hesitate less to do the same for me. We are all in this life together."
Monet St. Croix Monet St. Croix would go to shake the hand, "I understand and appreciate htat MIster Wagner. That goes for anyone. I do not know you enough to feel like I can call you a friend, but you are a good person. No one doubts that."
Kurt Wagner     "Of course," Kurt says with a nod. "Maybe someday we will know each other that well." When the handshake ends, he takes a step back. "I hope you'll forgive me, Fraulein," he continues, taking his hands from his pockets. "Break time is over." He jumps, pulling his knees up, then--
