Owner Pose
Damian Wayne      Damian had sent a car to pick up Feddy in Happy Harbor. Inside had been Damian, waiting for the Freddo.

Once they got there, there was of course a tour of the place, because nobody's first visit is complete without one.

"So...that's it, the stables, the west wing, and the east wing." He says, concluding things. He turns, looking to his friend.
Freddy Freeman Freddy isn't the kind of kid who covets or gets resentful about what he doesn't have. He also never, ever complains about his physical disability. So when Damian takes him on a long walking tour of the single most opulent dwelling and grounds he has ever seen, he is nothing but warm and receptive and excited. He asks questions about EVERYTHING and touches more things that most people would be comfortable touching for fear of breaking something expensive. So the tour takes way longer than it should.

Back in the hallway, leaning a little more heavily than usual on his crutch, a grinning and beaming Freddy shakes his head. "I gotta hand it to ya, Damian," he says, giving the other kid a shoulder nudge with his free hand. "This place is baller as fuck. The news reports don't do it justice." His brilliant expression doesn't say 'I'm jealous. I live in a foster home and help my mom make runs to the food pantry' but rather it says 'I'm so happy for you that you get to live like this!'

"OH!" Freddy says, tugging a small, wrapped object out of his pocket. "I get the feeling you don't really like to advertise it, but I saw in the school bulletin that it's your birthday. So...I..." He shrugs a little. "I got you something. It ain't nothing like you're used to or whatever." A bashful shrug, but a warm, warm smile as he holds it out. "Happy birthday, Damian."
Damian Wayne      Damian looks to the package and smiles. "Heh, of course you'd know." He says, taking the offered gift and unwrapping it.

Well, inside being a mixtape that was of course made for him, which stuff like that may seem corny, but Damian recognized the parsonal bit of it. It was a gesture that was very kind.

"Thanks Freddy." He said, looking to the other teen and smiling. Which arguably was the most smiling he'd done in a long while.
Freddy Freeman Freddy bites his lower lip trying in vain to control his reflexive smile. "It's just some songs that I like to listen to. One of my favorite things is to lie in bed with my headphones and listen to music." He shrugs. Suddenly he's nervous. His gaze shifts around. There is some slightly perspiration on his forehead. He leans on the horizontal handle of his crutch with both hands as he leans in closer to Damian and gives the other young man a very chaste, gentle, affectionate kiss on the cheek. Freddy's eyes sink shut momentarily as he does so. "Happy birthday," he repeats, his breath cascading over Damian's cheek before he stands up straight again. Now the nervous young man is trying to look anywhere except at Damian.
Damian Wayne      The kiss was allowed to happen, and with it, Damian's cheek grew more blushed.

The gentle breeze of Freddy's breath lingering for a moment before the other stands upright. "You were waiting for that for a while weren't you?" He asks, giving a smirk, roght before he returns it, giving a kiss on the cheek back to Freddy, only slightly awkward, but with confidence.
Freddy Freeman With a quick exhalation of air and a reflexive smile so broad that one wonders if Freddy's head is going to tumble right off, he quickly nods his head, causing his errant locks to flips around chaotically. He lets out some of the pent up energy in the form of a nervous giggle. "OH YEAH," he says, scratching the back of his neck. "Only for about two years now."
Damian Wayne      Damian's grin spreads wider at the admission from Freddy. Though he had no idea that he had been looking from afar for that long. "So...that was you actually leaving care to the wind, huh?" He offered, looking to Freddy still.

"I'm glad you did." When he settles back down and looks around."So, we have the place to ourselves...for a while at least. What do you want to do?" He asked, looking curiously to Freddy.
Freddy Freeman Freddy's ears redden at that question. But no, Freddy's way too inexperienced and innocent for that. "Ummmm, I dunno. What does one do in a giant mansion? This is my first mansion," he quips, falling back on humor when he gets nervous. "We could look up the price of all the art on eBay."

Shaking his head and chuckling nervously, Freddy confesses, "I dunno, Wayne. What do you even *do* in a place like this? If we were at my house our choices would be read comic books, watch a shitty little TV that usually works, or make fun of my brothers and sister."
Damian Wayne      "Honestly? Well." He reaches his hand to his lips, and letting out a trill of a whistle.

To which a two year old German Shepard bounds into the great hall, he isn't uncontrollably fast, sitting next to Damian and wagging his tail.

"This is Ace. No relation to that asshole at Big Belly Burger. This one is housetrained." He offers with a laugh, looking to the dog, and petting his head. "So...we have a couple of custom computers upstairs...and consoles." He didn't really have many comic books, but he did add one coda to his offer. "And we can make fun of my brothers and sister." He said, chuckling at that mimic.
Freddy Freeman Not really sure how the german shepherd responds to strangers, Freddy slowly lowers himself down to his good knee and holds a hand out cautiously to the animal. "Hey there, Ace. I'm Freddy," he says in a gentle tone. Worse case scenario, if the dog bites him he can always Shazam and fly him into the sun...

At the mention of custom computer, Freddy's eyes light up. He's never gamed on a custom computer before and clearly that idea excites him. "Oh dope, do you have Halo Infinite? I was watching Alexa Lourde from school's YouTube channel. She kicks ass on Halo Infinite!"
Damian Wayne      Ace leans in to the offered hand, sniffing a good amount of times before licking Freddy's hand. "He likes everyone." Until ordered to not of course. But that was another story, another life, and another Damian.

"Game Pass. Come on up. I got the 3090's in there too. There isn't much they can't play smooth like butter." He comments, starting to head up to the game room.
