Tabitha Smith It's been a while since the pool party that celebrated most of the birthdays in July. Luckily Tabby got to slide on cleaning up after. Threats to the astral plane can totally get you out of any chores.

So that means by now itr's back to normal. Someone else can organise the August birthdays. Tabby gonna kick back while she can.

Hence the blonde woman idly relaxing on a sun lounge in a pink bikini. Mimosa in hand, sunglasses on her nose and numerous little balls of flaming plasma orbiting and floating around her while a phone blasts out some old eighties rock.

The pool itself mostly empty allowing Tabby to occasionally drop some of those bombs in the water to boom beneath the surface. Just enough to make some splashes rise a few feet like someone might have just cannonballed into the water directly.
Kitora Alua Kitora Alua, wearing a red one-piece swimsuit, heads towards the pool - then stops a bit as she sees someone throwing energy grenades into the water. She grins as she starts to glow as she approaches you from behind, as she wiggles her fingers, sending a plastic cup to see if she can intercept whatever the plasma grenades are as she walks forward still. She isn't quite sure what those things are, but the loose plastic cup could be intersting with it.
Tabitha Smith The cup floats and Tabby watches it try and get closer to catching the bomb. The faint red glow of power nearby letting the blonde know who is behind her. "Careful, you may wanna not try that. There's very little than can contain my booms!" Tabby warns and lets the plastic contained boom float up and a ways way from the water and Kitora for that matter.

"Like seriousl. Molten plastic and or shrapnel hon!" she points out and throws a second larger ball of plasma up to catch and join it's smaller partner in the air. "Tick... Tick... Tick..." she counts down before

BOOM! On it's own the smaller bomb would have splattered molten polymers.

The second joining it practically vaporises it. The smell of burnt plastic wafting down and making Tabby's nose crinkle.

"Can't beleive I'm giving this advice but hon. Don't go messing with someone else's powers if you don't know how they work!" she warns. "Cause if you get hurt. It's kinda my ass. If I get hurt, my ass still." she says with a chuckle.
Kitora Alua Kitora Alua just blinks as she was pulling it back when it went boom. "Hi... I wasn't sure what those were - never seen it - could've just been colored lights." She sighs soflty as she heads over. "I'm Kitora,' she states, extending her hand. "Just curious - you can create bombs?"
Tabitha Smith There's a grin and the blonde sits up on her sun longe to sip her mimosa and turn about to the girl with the glowy gravity powers. "I'm exactly why you don't mess with people powers in use." Tabby points out. She might have been a fixture but it is a decent sized school so not everyone keeps up with what everyone else does.

"Tabby, Boom-Boom if I'm in the tights. And yeah. Bombs is kinda the least of what I can do. I psionically use my own energy to make and move plasma. Usually explosively but I can do other things too." she states and lets a small stream of that firey ionised flamelike energy swirl in a stream through her waggling fingers.

"I've been yelled at enough by the teachers here, not that I was gonna hurt anyone but sometimes accidents happen no matter how much control you might have. If you don't know when someone else can do, you could make a thing way more dangerous." she explains. "I'm also like a telepath. So double strength on that whole advice schtick there."
Kitora Alua Kitora Alua nods slowly. "My 'nome de guerre' is Horizon," she muses softly. "Plasma is awesome - you can do a lot of stuff with it." She smiles. "You're a bit of a telepath?" she asks, tilting her head. "There seems to be lot of that around here. I sometimes consider getting a tinfoil hat." She smiles as she steps onto the pool, remaining 'standing' on the surface though it's obviously she's just hovering to make it appear that way. "I have one unique quirk too..." she muses softly as she sinks to the bottom of the pool's deep end - and stands there on the bottom, waving up at you.
Tabitha Smith "A lot of the worlds most powerful telepaths graduated here. Best place to learn. Tinfoil ain't gonna do squat though. That's what the mental defense clasaes are for yo!" The blonde puts her index and middle fingers to her temple and thumb to jaw while she makes oooeeeeoooo sounds a moment.

"That kinda kicked in when we did graduation before summer. Been working on it last few weeks. It is not fun. Imagine being at a party where everything is too loud. That's like all the time. " she points out while she watches Kitora sink down under the pool surface when hearing might be difficult with ears. <<Flight or is that like gravity or density type stuff. We got anothe kid that does that. Jason. Called him Gravitator when we recruited him a few months back.>> she beams down telepathically. Beats sounding like a murlock.

<<He doesn't have the cool glow you do. Reminds me of Amara and 'Beto>> The New Mutants aren't that far past graduating. And just around long enough the name kinda got ironic.
Kitora Alua Kitora Alua just blinks as she looks up at you, tilting her head, tapping it. She seems to stay put on the bottom. She focuses, staring up at you. <<Gravity mostly - though I can kinda control my density by making my personal gravity stronger. Also - while I'm glowing, I don't need to breathe and am protected from inclement elements... though it taxes me to do so.>> She isn't even sure if you heard her, but she was TRYING to push her thoughs, to think LOUD. She is no telepath, but has been around them since she came to the school. She sits down on the bottom - then decides this is strange and simply strats floating upward until she breaches the surface, remaining in her sitting cross-legged posture, her hands stretched out as about a dozen balls of water float up from the surface and orbit around her rapidly. "Did... you hear my thoughts? I was trying to make them loud... I really have to get the hang of this telepathy stuff...'
Tabitha Smith Tabitha sends a feeling of nodding while the other girl is down below. The surface of the water when you're fifteen feet down kinda makes it hard to emote through.

Once back up Tabby grins and lets it be seen as she talks verbally instead of telepathically.

"We all do things a little differently even when we have similar power sets. Gravitator was good at yeeting things. Launched be like super high up once. Nearly didn't survive the fall. But yeah I heard you. Think a few telepaths heard you." tThe blonde bombshell teases playfully.

"But you don't have to push that hard. If we're trying to listen all you have to do is let us. It's still on us to make sure we just get your consious stuff. And make sure that's all you get from us." Tabby explains as she finishes that mimosa and mmm as she stands up.

"You'll get the hang of it. I still had trouble even before I had that switched on. Neurodiversity is kinda a steep incline. ADHD and stuff makes it harder." she explains.

"Hence some of the drinking. And smoking but you didn't hear that suggestion from me even though everyone will assume it was!" she winks and starts to walk towards the student dorm building a little ways across from the mansion. "Once you find your stride, no limit to what you might do. Well maybe a few but we all have those and finding them is half the fun!" she calls out loudly before she disappears.
