Micola Maximoff Micola hasn't been having a good time of sleeping as of late. Whether it's because she's having a bit more stress due to tattoo deadlines or something else, no one knows. She'd woken up about two in the morning to pad over to the kitchen and put on a pot of water to boil for tea. Because a kettle might wake the sleeping Prince up and that wasn't something that she wanted to do.

Between his Avengering and other things he needed his sleep. She planted herself in a chair at the island counter in the kitchen to start scrolling through her phone and then gave a soft sigh, "I need to work on redoing some of these." she mutters to herself.
Pietro Maximoff Sleep is what it is. Pietro's sleep cycle is rather short, when needed. He did notice when she was restless, even if he did not get out of bed. He'd given her the privacy she seemed to want - letting her rustle as she likes. Tonight was a bit different, it would seem.

Sitting up, he glanced over to where she was sitting in the kitchen. "Is everything all right, Micola?" He asks, slowly getting to his feet. There's no rush, as he makes his way over to her.
Micola Maximoff Micola had settled her phone down when she'd heard Pietro's voice and she turns her chair to look at him. A warm smile coming to her face as she sees him, "Restless mostly. My brain is having trouble shutting all the way down this last week." she tells him. She offers a hand to him when he gets closer. "Would you like a cup of tea as well?" she asks him.

"I didn't mean to wake you if I did." she points out.
Pietro Maximoff A smile from Pietro. "Tea would be lovely." He comments, sliding into the chair near her. "What's been filling your mind, love?" He asks, his hand moving to clasp her's. "Anything I can help with?" The man wonders, peering at her eyes. With so much going on, it could be any number of things troubling her - it's as if he's searching to see what it is.

A shake of his head. "No, you didn't wake me. I just missed the warmth of you beside me."
Micola Maximoff "I'll make two cups then." Micola smiles at him as he slides into the seat next to her. "Deadlines mostly. Wanting to get back into things full swing and still being a bit...timid from the start of July. My brain is just having trouble with realizing that I'm fine." she frowns. "So much to do, so little time is how it's thinking." she muses to that.

There's a soft smile to his words, "Well, if tea makes me sleepy we can always return to bed." she tells him. "Or one of us can at least." she teases him. "How have things been going on your side?" she asks him.
Pietro Maximoff His brow goes up. "You're still recovering, love." He smiles. "It will take some time to get back into the groove of things, I am sure. But you will get there." Of that, Pietro has no doubts. He nudges her. "Do we need to get a wedding planner, to help take off that burden?"

"Things are going well - life as we know it and all that." He smiles. "Janet van Dyne would like to design our wedding attire." The man mentions. "I think she's looking to focus on different things, now that she and Steve broke it off."
Micola Maximoff Micola gives him a soft smile, "I know, but..." she gives a soft sigh. "I guess I'm just trying to figure out what's best going forward." she admits. There is a smile to him though when he nudges her, "I'm sure we can probably find one that might not want to put us in bubble gum pink and baby blue." she grins at that.

"Like, THE Janet van Dyne wants to do the wedding attire? Well...I don't think I can argue with that." she tells him. "Sometimes people grow apart or things happen. I hope that they can both find others to be happy with in time." she admits.
Pietro Maximoff "I know. Forward is best. One step at a time, Micola." He offers, patting her hand. "And most certainly - no pink, no bubble gum. Lorna would pummel me." Pietro snickers, chuckling. "I imagine Wanda would be amused, though."

He nods, grinning. "Yes, that Janet van Dyne." He winks. "And yes, they are still co-workers, and I don't feel there are hard feelings - but I imagine that it will be awkward for some time."
Micola Maximoff Micola gives a soft smile to him as she slides out of her seat when the water is boiling and goes about making the two of them tea. "Sugar?" she asks him. She wasn't sure how many he wanted or if that would wire him for the night. "I'm sure Wanda might be amused, yes. Especially if it was like...eighties puffy sleeved prom nightmare." she chuckles.

She settles his tea in front of him and then retakes her seat, "It probably will be a bit awkward, but I'm sure they'll make it through. I'm sure that it'll get better as time goes on though." she admits.
Pietro Maximoff The man thinks. "No sugar tonight, thank you." Pietro smiles. A hearty laugh at the mention of the 80s puffy sleeves. "Princess dresses for all the women, parachute pants fro the men?" He suggests, with a wink.

"They are strong people, with strong morals and personality. They will make it through, I suspect. It's not... unusual for such relationships that form due to the stress of the job."
Micola Maximoff Micola gives him the tea sans the sugar, but she puts a teaspoon in hers because she's got a sweet tooth. "I thought parachute pants were more 90's. I was thinking more grey riding pants ala the Goblin King." she giggles.

She listens to him as he speaks and there is a soft nod to him, "That's understandable on that really." she tells him. She then looks around the apartment that's taking shape and she smiles, "Things are coming along nicely here. I'm excited to be able to spend the holidays with you in our new place." she comments with a soft look to him.
Pietro Maximoff Another happy laugh. "I do not have the bulge to compare to David Bowie, love." He winks to her, quite amused. "I don't Janet will suggest tights, either. I run around in a rather tight outfit on the regular, after all. I think she wants to see me in something different."

His eyes follow hers, nodding. "It is becoming quite the home." He agrees, takinga sip of his tea. "Do you have traditions for the holidays?"
Micola Maximoff "I wasn't even thinking about Mister Bowie's bulge, dear one." Micola points out as she giggles at that. "And no, I'm guessing there won't be tights at the wedding unless there is some Avengers level threat...and then I'm going to go scold whatever it is myself." she chuckles. "I happen to like your suit. But yes, something different would be nice." she nods. "I'm wondering if I need to coverup my tattoos for the occasion or do you think they'll be alright?" she looks to him.

"Not many traditions really. Just spending time with my mom and my grandpa. Eating lots of food. We can start some traditions if you'd like?" she offers to him.
Pietro Maximoff Pietro grins. "Clearly, you've not seen it recently. It's like a being with it's own divinity, and gravity." He teases. "No tights, indeed. I am sure there will be more than scolding, love. I doubt the Avengers or the citizens of Genosha will sit idly." A wry grin.

"Lots of food is wonderful. Decorations? Do you suspect your mother and grandfather would want to spend the holidays with us?"
Micola Maximoff Micola laughs at that, "I've not seen that movie in a few years, this is true." she tells him. "But that's alright. I'm only interested in one guy in tights." she winks at him. "I think things will be fine." she smiles to him. "And if not, we'll deal with it when they come." she nods.

"I like decorating for Halloween and Christmas a lot. So I think we can do that." she grins. "Any holiday you favor?" she asks him. "My mom would probably love it. Grandpa probably has to spend most of his time with his other grandkids and things, but I think we can steal some of his time." she grins. "What about your sisters, think they'll want to spend some holiday time together?" she asks him.
