Owner Pose
Susan Sullivan     Demona is high above New York. She has a radar signature, so she's likely visible as a small UFO on some radars if she rises above the skyline, but given all the people flying around, there was likely a lot of contacts getting thrown out by some very advanced computer learning whatever.
Standing on a flying staff like a cross between the Wicked Witch of the West and the Silver Surfer, Demona approaches the corner of a tall building. She turns to face away from the building, looking out over the city. The iron and silver clad staff rises like an elevator as she looks out on the city. When she reaches the top of the building, she steps back off of the staff and grabs the stick out of the air. Tucking it under her arm, she walks across the rooftop. Her skull-themed gas mask hasn't changed much in the time since she's shown up in New York City, though there haven't exactly been news reports about her.
Mania Spider-Man, Spider-Man
Does whatever a spider can
Spins a web, any size
Catches thieves just like flies
Look out
Here comes the Spider-Man

Well, almost. In this case, /not/ actually Spider-Man, but rather Mania as she casts lines of webbing out to stick to the sides of buildings, swinging through downtown Manhattan into Midtown proper.

While gnawing on a hot dog from a street vendor.

It didn't hurt that the guy gave her a few free when she intervened to stop a couple losers from robbing him.
Susan Sullivan     Demona watches from the rooftop as the symbiote swings overhead of traffic. She tosses her staff out, and it floats above the rooftop. She then turns, smooths it down against the backs of her thighs, and sits on it. Crossing one leg over the other, she doesn't seem at all worried at the spider-being coming directly at the building she's currently sitting on.
Mania <<Mania>> Why are these meat sticks always so tasty, Andi? They snap in a satisfying way.
<<Andi>> You mean hot dogs, and they just are. It's like a good cheesesteak from Philly.
<<Mania>> We would like to try them covered in chocolate. We think they would be even better that way.
<<Andi>> You think everything would be better with chocolate.
<<Mania>> Because it is true.

While that little internal conversation is taking place, and the last bite of hot dog is had, attention diverts a bit higher up as someone perches atop a flying..thing..and just watches behind a strange mask. This leads to a pause, using both lines of webbing to hold steady as Mania's head tilts at the sight, then she swings down and back up to land atop the same roof. Closer.

Again, head tilting. This time the other way. Solid white, exaggerated eyes squint. The being crouches.
Susan Sullivan     Demona faces Mania like a 2D sprite in an early 3D game. There's an aloofness to her as she gazes out from within her mask. "Hello, again," comes the amplified voice through one of the gas mask cans. "That's quite a distinctive style. I doubt you could be anyone but the same duo I ran into at that convenience store." She is pushed up and forward by the staff, which follows behind her like a puppy. "It's about time we met."
Mania There is no mouth - that disappeared after the hot dogs were consumed - so all Demona gets is a 'face' that is dominated by those eyes, plus a few exaggerated bits of spiky hair, not to mention the punk/goth aesthetic of the costume's accessories along with more spikes along arms and shins.

Mania rises after the words are shared, hands at hips. "Hello. We do not remember you well, but that is familiar." A claw-tipped finger indicates the skull mask. "It has been a while. You work with the Spider, right?" She sports a large white one at the torso, front and back. The legs connect at the sides.
Susan Sullivan     "My reputation preceeds me, then," Demona says. The staff stands itself up next to her. "I don't know your name, but I saw you before you became...this," she says, gesturing. "I watched you transform." She reaches up to pull off her stocking cap, letting her black hair free. The brown roots betray that she dyes it. "I erased the security footage," she says. "Well, everything on that server's hard drives, really."
Mania There is a quick bristling from the creature, whoever or whatever it is. "You cannot tell anyone," comes an immediate response, more of a demand, the voice holding that duality to it that indicates there is a combination of something there. The one she speaks to saw it, after all.

Then, there is more of a singular voice that adds, "Don't you think she would have already if she was going to?" The other half is more prevalent in replying, "..perhaps. But it is important. We have not told anyone who the Spider is."

In the end, Mania comes back together as a more combined voice to add, "It is good the footage was erased."
Susan Sullivan     "Peter Parker," Demona says as she reaches up. She clicks the strap on both sides of her gas mask and lifts it up pulling it off of her head. "Look," she says in her natural voice. "I'm looking out for you." She reaches into a pocket and pulls out a king size hershey bar. "Peace offering," she says before tossing it over. "We need to trust each other, yeah? We're all in this together."
Mania The second rooftop visitor begins to step away from the edge of the building, arms again crossing as Demona names him after all. "So you know him, too. We could have been tricking you into saying it." The production of the chocolate bar suggests otherwise, that there is more the other one knows. A hand darts out to catch it, and no time is wasted in simply..consuming it. It is barely unwrapped before that tooth-filled mouth forms to gobble it down, the eyes lifting in such a way as to convey pleasure.

"Did he tell you to bring that? He should have told you to bring more, but thanks. We are Mania. What are we all in together?" There is a hint of wariness that remains, Demona still more stranger than not even with the offering.
Susan Sullivan     Demona shakes her head. "He suggested you liked chocolate; I chose to bring you some." She hangs her gas mask on top of the staff next to her. "All this. This lifestyle. Keeping our identities separate. Helping people. Spidey. I almost died because someone saw me hanging out with Spider-Man out of my mask. I clearly have your back; I destroyed that security footage."
