Morrigan MacIntyre Winter Break has officially started. Even though Winter isn't until the 21st. Which is a bigger problem for Morrigan at this point. But none of the students or teachers need to know that.

Much like last time there are board games stacked on multiple tables and there are students running back and forth between playing board games, card games and other things. There has been a lot of food ordered in and desserts have been homemade today. Morrigan likes to bake and it helps when ravens can be used for sight.

Riordan is seated not too far from her in his human form and talking over some things quietly, but it doesn't look all that important. People might overhear 'vacation' and 'someplace warm'. But that's about it. "Has Tyler arrived yet?" she asks him. There's a shake of his head, before he remembers the eyes, "No, not yet. Might just been late." he admits.
Richard Stadler This time, Richard isn't late to the party... though, given the things he brings with him, it seems to be because he's more looking for a new place to work than the faculty lounge. No extra board game this time, or a few pumpkin pies from the bigger island they were next to, no. This was just a heavy coat, a laptop, and several notebooks that he spreads out over a table off to the side. His movements seem a bit harried, his eyes showing less sleep then usual (and 'usual' didn't mean a lot of sleep in general).

Thankfully for Morrigan, the tone of his voice transmits this as well as he steps over to the table where the food's collected, quickly moving to grab a couple of admittedly delicious looking cookies and a slice of pizza. "Doctor MacIntyre." He says, nodding out of reflex. "And Riordan. Did I have the name right? I'm afraid I don't think we've talked enough for me to have it stuck in."
Greg Rollins Into this mess comes one Greg Rollins. Who blinks a few times at the different board games, and stares at them. He's not in his suit, so there's the occasional mumble from him of "what's monopoly" or "what's yahtzee" or something else as he looks over the stacks trying to find them, examine them, and apparently figure out what is what.

He's even left his hat back in his room or wherever he keeps his stuff just so he can look more fitting. The teen's still going over those board games as he seems to be trying to parse the different names, games, and everything else there.
Morrigan MacIntyre Morrigan looks up and in the direction of Richard's voice when she hears it and she smiles, "Doctor Stadler. It is good to hear you here." she tells him. "Hopefully the students haven't started to flip over any tables over monopoly yet." she muses to that.

Riordan gives a look to Richard and nods, "Aye, it's Riordan. Or Rio. Not really too caught up in what people call me." the black haired man admits.

Morrigan shakes her head, "He's a little cranky today. How have you been though, Doctor?" she asks her fellow adult. "Is that Greg?" she states. "Monopoly is a game that ends friendships." she muses to that. It was a joke.

Or was it?
Richard Stadler "Oh, I agree. I'm suprised more wars haven't been started over a bad game of Monopoly. Or at least more class consciousness, though I'll leave that to whoever the devil's teaching AP political science." He notes, before waving his hand. "And please, I'd rather go by Mister Stadler here. I want the students to see me a certain way and titles just don't do that. One of the reasons I kept that off my welcome message for the parents." He notes, before flipping open a notebook and taking a bite of a cookie at the same time. It's something he has to quickly swallow when Riordan confirms his name to answer. "It takes a bit of mental energy off my plate, honestly, so I appreciate the clarification. If that helps with your crankiness." He makes a point.

When Morrigan asks how he's doing, he pauses for a moment. Honestly looking through that question in his head. Mulling it over. "I... am processing that. I'm not sure..." He says, before freezing for a moment. "Doctor MacIntyre, do you have a security clearance?" He says, in a lower tone to keep the students from overhearing all of it.
Greg Rollins Greg looks up on hearing that and blinks a few times. "Why would you play a game that ends friendships?" That has an odd thing. He tilts his head, and actually found a spare box that he was looking it over as he seems to be trying to figure out why and how that would happen.

"What about... 'sorry'? What is 'sorry'?"
Morrigan MacIntyre "I do have a security clearance, yes." Morrigan states to Richard. "And then I'll call you Mister Stadler then. Though I don't think the students really give a hoot what are titles are." she grins at that. Then she gives a bit of a smile at what Richard says to Riordan, "He's cranky at me." she admits.

Riordan gives a nod, "Yep." he states. "I don't have a problem with people calling me the wrong name." he adds.

Morrigan does give a quirk of her eyebrow to Richard, "Did something happen?" she asks him.

Then she looks in the direction of Greg, "Well, it's a bit of a dicey game that can hurt feelings, but it's honestly not meant to end friendships. It's a competitive game." she points out. "People try to buy the most expensive properties and things." she states. "Sorry is also competitive. You have chances to bump people out of the way or swap places...which would mean 'Sorry about that'. Sort of." she explains.
Richard Stadler Richard Stadler slowly nods to that declaration, distractedly referencing the proper title. "Oh, it's all... subconscious, I wager. What you go by with others reinforces how they see you, how they identify you in their heads. Or that's the way I look at it, in any case." He says, before looking over to Greg again. "All of it. Every one of those games has led to someone flipping a board at one time or another. Just make sure everyone knows it's a friendly game, and you should be fine.... don't invite your enemies." he notes, before looking back over to Morrigan. Mulling over some internal decision to discuss or not to, before nodding minuately to himself.

"I shot at someone inside the UN a few days ago. I suppose that's the shocking statement that gets attention. Some people I'm familiar with asked me to consult on some stolen medical equipment. It looks like someone didn't like a lot of the people being gathered in one place, so..." He says, shrugging. "I really don't know how I'm seeing this amount of action as a teacher... well, I do. I took that job, didn't I?" He says, musing to himself for the last part.

"I may need to hire a subsitute for... some time, depending on how things go."
Morrigan MacIntyre Morrigan looks in Richard's direction and the lavender eyed woman wishes she could see. That would be better with reading people. "You would not need to hire anyone. We could hire a sub for you, Mister Stadler." she points out to him. "You don't have to take care of expenses like that, it's what we're here for." she offers with a smile.

"I know this..." she motions around with a hand, "And the world outside can be overwhelming. If you need to be somewhere else for a bit then we'll take care of things until you get back." she admits.
Richard Stadler Richard Stadler slowly nods his head, before realizing, again, that this isn't something Morrigan would clue in on. "Thank you, Doctor." He says. "I was expecting that would be the case, but... you can never tell with some of these schools. I suppose..." He trails off, before speaking again. "I suppose it's a bit of a war between where I plan on being here, and what the outside world might drive me to. I admit it's... my retirement and carrer change has not gone in the direction I thought it would. Not that it's a bad thing, but... I suppose It's something to think about. For the moment, though. I hope to have the lesson plans for next semester handled and hammered out. Just in case an extended absense is warranted."
Greg Rollins Greg has been mostly silent, looking a bit lost. That's when it might click that he's in a room full of teenagers and he's still having trouble with his psychic abilities. A couple of minutes pass before he blinks, then turns and says towards a rather heated looking table of monoply. "It's just a game!"

Then he turns to Morrigan and Richard. "Sorry. Um... maybe I should go outside for a bit? The games look fun, but well..."
Morrigan MacIntyre Morrigan gives a look to Richard and there's a smile, she was about to say something when her attention is drawn elsewhere when Greg shouts. Oh no. "You're fine, it's alright Greg." the blind woman states. "I think it's a good time for a few of us to get some air." she nods in agreement with him. "Just remember to wear a coat, it's rather cold out." she tells him.
