Bart Allen	Bart Allen normally makes snacks and treats for the pets of the titans and their friends. With tomorrow being a holiday all about eating for some,Bart figured they may need some extra treats for the next day and holiday themed makes them more interesting. So Bart has zoomed into the kitchen, cleaning things off and bringing in a dozen coolers and bags of stuff. As he slows down he is putting on an apron and has a chef's hat with paw prints designs on it.
Angelica Jones	Angelica Jones returned to the Tower a little while ago after being away, but she's kept mostly to herself. She descends lightly through the open shaft into the main room, hovering a moment before touching down. She is dressed comfortably, in jeans and knee boots along with a vest over a t-shirt. Seeing someone already here, she hesitates for a moment before putting on her best smile and stepping in. "Um, hi there. Not sure if you remember me, but I'm Angelica. Firestar."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen looks over and says "I don't think we have met, but I have seen your team entry." He says as he wipes his hands and in a flash is within hand shaking range and says "Hi, I'm Bart, Impulse, a pleasure to meet you. I am going to be making some pet treats if you want to grab something from the kitchen before I start feel free. Everything I use is ok for humans to eat too, but some people are a bit squimish about eating where pet food is being made."
Angelica Jones	Angelica Jones blinks when Bart just suddenly -moves- close enough to shake hands. She rocks back a half-step, accepting the handshake with a surprised look. "Hi Bart. And it's nice to meet you, too. Impulse... speedster, yeah." Yes, she remembers. Ang studied the team log, after all. "Oh, I'm not really hungry, but I could grab a soda. And I don't mind the pet food thing. I just never really thought people would make it themselves." She steps over to the fridge and takes out a soda at random.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen is back in the kitchen in a blink and says "Well, I am studying to be a Vet, and I work at the zoo, so started making treats for my friend's pets that was healthy for them. You have any pets? If so I can add to what I am making." He offers in explanation. He starts off cleaning veggies, as some will be going into some of the food. "So, you how are you doing?
Angelica Jones	Angelica Jones shakes her head slowly, popping open the soda can. "I don't have any pets, but thanks." she replies, sipping slowly and trying to stay out of the way. "I've been doing well, and thanks for asking. I was away for a while learning how to use my powers better, mostly so I felt comfortable that I wouldn't hurt someone by accident."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit to this and says "Microwave energy right?" He asks her. He remembers her file in detail, but then again anything Bart reads he remembers in detail. He starts chopping up things and while some may expect things to be flying as he does, he keeps things in place, and soon has piles of different things on the counter, and puts a pan on to start sweating some of the veggies. "Cutting up meat and fish won't bother you will it?" He asks, as he has had some folks who have issues.
Angelica Jones	Angelica Jones nods to that, stepping slowly closer while taking another sip. "Right. Not technically 'fire', in spite of the codename. I absorb low levels of ambient energy, store it, and can then release it as microwave radiation." She shrugs a little, then, shaking her head at his question. "Why would cutting up meat and fish bother me? I eat both."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods and says "Well some are vegetarians and such, and then like if I am going to be cutting up chickens I try to make sure Kian is not around. I know people eating birds makes him a bit skittish, so I try to spare him from it. And Microwaves are a speedster's best friend, I have to Microwave ovens at home, use them more often than normal ones." He admits. He will pull out a couple turkeys next after making sure Kian is not about and cuts them up and debones them, before dicing them, so it is more a pile of meat in a bowl than a turkey. The bones back away out of sight.
Angelica Jones	Angelica Jones leans one hip against a counter, watching Bart work while they talk. "Yeah, I can definitely understand Kian being sensitive." she replies. "So you like microwaves, hmm? I've heard that some speedsters are impatient. I hadn't thought about it, but that makes sense." Ang smiles a little, then. "Are you impatient about other things, too? If you don't mind my asking."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen looks over and makes a soso motion with his hand "I have been working on it, I used to be really bad about wanting everything at my speed, but I spend time doing things at normal speed. I have even been spending time watching snails to try to learn to sit down and see things. It helps me learn to think more about how people do things
Angelica Jones	Angelica Jones smiles a little at that, taking a deliberately slow slurp of her soda. "That was the hardest part for me about my powers, too. Trying to learn how they affect others, I mean. When I've got a lot of stored energy, keeping it bottled up and controlling the release was tough to learn at first."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and says "Speed is my natural state, I used to have to count to myself between each words so people could understand me. But I have gotten more and more used to it. Do you use your powers to cook and do other things?" He asks, and soon he has some other proteins cut up and some are put in the pot with the veggies, some in the over and even some into a blender to make into more of a meat mush.
Angelica Jones	Angelica Jones hesitates a moment, then shakes her head slowly. "I haven't tried, to be honest. Not cooking, at least. I've been focusing mostly on control. Flying without melting through walls, disrupting cell signals without taking out the whole city grid, that kind of stuff." Shelooks thoughtful for a moment, then. "I probably -could- cook with my power, but it's not like I have a wattage setting."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods, and says "Probably take some trial and error, best to keep like a meat thermometer about so you could see how hot you got it, maybe look into minimum safe temps for food. " He adds some binding bit to the meat in the blender, before pulling out some silicon molds and starts to pack the meat into little bone and other shapes. "So what do you do for fun?"
Angelica Jones	Angelica Jones blinks, then grins at the suggestion. "Of course! I'll start experimenting with a meat thermometer." She looks more closely as he starts blending things. "What do I like to do? Um... I like painting and drawing, and also sculpting with clay." She pauses, then adds. "Oh, and keeping current on nuclear physics developments. What about you?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and says "Well, I like taking care of animals of course, I like video games, got high score on half the games on the east coast or so." He admits "A few other things but then again in a way I have a lot more free time than most.
Angelica Jones	Angelica Jones smiles at that. "I usually try to stay away from video games, so I don't fry something by accident." she offers. "And yeah, I hadn't thought about your free time. When you're used to life at a higher speed, you probably DO have a lot of free time." Ang finishes her soda, then puts the can in the recycling bin.
Bart Allen	Bart Allen will continue making small talk with Angelica as he makes the different snacks, for animals ranging from small rodents, to dogs and cats to some more exotic things like a batdragon.
