Micola Maximoff The wedding ceremony of Pietro Maximoff and Micola Lykaios had went off without much of a hitch at the Reid Castle. No one was busting through the windows to try to turn the ceremony into a fight and no one had to be kicked out. There were a lot of guests that had come from different parts of the world as ambassadors and others were close friends. There had been little nuances to the ceremony and the setting that had honored those that couldn't be there. For example seats were set aside for Micola's deceased grandparents as well as Pietro's parents. It was important for them to be remembered.

Micola's grandfather had given her away and there was no mention of her father, which was not out of the ordinary. The only thing out of the ordinary that in place of a Maid or Matron of Honor there was a rather large blonde tattooed man that was her Honor Attendant. That was her best friend, Shane. Micola's hair had been returned to it's natural obsidian color and the tips were a mix of deep green and sapphire blue. They'd been swept back into a long sleep ponytail that curled at the ends. Her gown was white, but at the skirt there was an ombre effect of colors on it.

After the ceremony, document signing and the photographs it was time to get to the PARTY!

The wedding venue was decorated in the colors of the wedding which was hunter green and royal blue. The ballroom had been set up with tables with matching linens in the wedding colors. There were floral arrangements with candles in the middles as well. People were able to sit where they liked and the head tables had name cards where people were seated.

There is a plethora of food on the buffets and drinks of every kind on top of the bar. Which is open, Micola's grandfather has covered a large chunk of the wedding given traditions. And he didn't seem to mind footing the bill either.

Once first dances and cake cutting had been done it was just time for everyone to eat, mingle and to have a good time tonight given it was New Year's Eve!
Natasha Romanova It's thier party and they'll cry if they want to.. Natasha is there wearing a blood red gown, her hair done up, and some earrings dangling down. She has a goblet of something strong in her hand that she's sipping from and seemingly not paying attention to much other things. It's so strange, being at a wedding where she's not there to kill or kidnap someone.. Or to stop someone from being killed or kidnapped. Life has changed greatly these last several years. THere's amusement on the Widow's face. Or a close enough equivalent to it for anyone that would be nearby and be able to read her facial expressions on the matter.
Pietro Maximoff The wedding gown and tuxedo had been designed by the talented Janet Van Dyne, a gift to the couple for their special day. Pietro's tuxedo was modern and sleek, while still having some traditional feel to it. His pocket square was a nice blend of the wedding colors - sapphire blue and deep green. The Genoshan prince was even wearing dress shoes for the event - heaven help him if he has to move quickly!

Those that knew him, could sense his nerves. Tommy, who has the unfair advantage of being able to perceive at Pietro's speeds - sees it all too well. Nerves and all, it was clear that he was very happy and eager to take this step in his life. The world may blur by or screech to a snail's pace, but it won't phase Quicksilver as long as he's with Micola.

Once the photos are all done, the dances merrily completed and the cake dealt with, he stands with Micola near the head table, looking out over the assembled guests. "I think it went well..." He comments to her, his fingers laced with hers - admiring their matching bands from the wedding.
Tommy Shepherd     So that's what a wedding ceremony is like. Tommy's never been to one before, so it's a whole new experience to him. He manages to behave himself throughout with minimal fidgeting, though he very likely had to resort to sitting on his hands a time or two. It's a constant struggle, but one he'd suffered through in deference to the bride and groom, both of whom Tommy actually believe-it-or-not likes.

Real bonafide Adults that Tommy Shepherd can stand. Who knew such a thing existed.

He's in a nice suit, helpfully provided by auntie Lorna who hadn't been willing to let him attend in a rented tux. The cleanly pressed white dress shirt you'd expect to see is nowhere in sight, instead swapped out for a deep purple in a royal hue that is offset by the matching tie that has a more metallic sheen, to match the fabric of his guests' dresses.

Yeah, that's plural. Don't ask him how he managed to swing a +2 to such a well-attended event... honestly Tommy's not sure either, but he looks to his right at Gabby and then his left at Bunny, before he clears his throat and stands from their table. "I need to--I have to say things. Like, well wishes? Do I go to them, or," he sits back down, lightning quick, "Do they come here?"

After a moment of consideration he puts his head in his hands. "I have no idea what I'm doing. Do you think they'll check IDs at the bar?"
Tony Stark Tony Stark likes to be in the middle of the center of the action. However -- that doesn't mean he shoved his way into the wedding in some manner. Hardly so! He's been an entertainment source for a lot of the heavyweight political guests, though: tying them up with conversation and chatter.

Tony is NOT at his assigned seat now, either: he's at someone else's spot off next to a dignitary, totally ignoring the placard (he'll move when he has to!), having a relaxed conversation with three ambassadors. It's like a personal mission for Stark to make some grumpy guests smile.

Predictably, Tony's in a very fine black suit with a splash of golden-patterned-on-black tie, and red-tinted glasses currently being spun around in his left hand.
Steve Rogers Steve Rogers attended the wedding, wearing a nice suit with shirt and tie. Those with an eye for such things might notice the very fine tailoring, not the sort of thing Steve would have ended up with on his own.

He was all smiles for Micola as she came down the aisle in the beautiful wedding dress, as if not just to celebrate this special day for her, but to also help welcome her into Pietro's family. Not the one he'd grown up with, but the one he'd found along the way.

He'd mingled with the others watching as the photos were taken, exchanging a few holiday wishes with some others who he hadn't seen as recently. When everyone moved into the banquet room he'd followed in, stopping to get a drink before finding a seat a table.
Gabby Kinney Gabby Kinney had managed to stay rather relaxed for the most part through the whole ceremony. Usually she was a bit antsy but compared to Tommy? She was calm, cool and collected. She also had a few tricks tucked into her little purse which she shares with Tommy after a bit by nudging his side with her elbow and offering out one of those little square fidget toys with the clicker, joystick, spinning wheel, etc. Nice, quiet, but might help. Might.

Though she could have gone fancier in her attire, what she knew of weddings was 'never attempt to outshine the bride', so she'd just opted for a nice little vintage 70's metallic blue dress. That along with a faux fur bolero jacket because let's face it, it's Decemruary, was enough to leave her looking properly fashionable along with her escort and fellow escortee.

"Pretty sure you go up to them, they've done the hard work at this point and get to sit back some. I can go with if you need? Or we both could," she adds leaning over to peer past him toward Bunny to see her thoughts on the matter, too. "Unless it's something you'd rather say alone, being family and all, I get that."

Bunny Macleod     Coming in on Tommy's arm was a pale, short young woman. Her hair was a pop of hot pink, styled into an elegant roll of big curls to her her right side, the left swept back and pinned with a silver clip, decorated with pink rhinestones set in the shape of hopping rabbits.

Her dress is a vintage number, off-the shoulder and tucked neatly at the waist, flared out and going down to her knees in metallic baby pink, with white stockings and pink Mary Janes - which the short girl wobbles in slightly. The skirt is slightly poofed out by a crinoline beneath.

"Ah, the bride and groom should come out to us actually, to smooze a little bit, thank us for coming, ordinarily after the refreshments." she states, her nose wrinkling slightly as she turns her blue eyes to Tommy, and then whispers:

"I was en*tirely* unprepared. I missed the part where you are *related to royalty*."
Janet van Dyne Janet van Dyne is present not just as a guest, but also as a spare set of hands for the bridal couple. Last-minute re-fittings were definitely a thing as weight was dropped or added; woe betide the person wearing a JvD outfit and looking anything but impeccable.

Janet's donned a dress just shy of being pale goldenrod, with subtle flarings over her shoulders that reduce the impact of having bare arms. The narrow pencil skirt falls to knee-height and she's paired the ensemble with white strappy sandals and a pedicure that exactly matches her dress in color. She joins the rest of the crowd as they mill into the reception area, sitting down at the table setting with her name on it and taking a few moments to eat something. Aside from a Snicker's and a few energy drinks, Janet hadn't had anything to eat since showing up for the pre-wedding preparation.
Micola Maximoff "Nobodies crashed through a wall or a window so I'd say it's gone pretty well. Then again my family hasn't had enough time to get into the alcohol either." Micola states with a laugh. The tattooed woman was all smiles and it was pretty easy to see that her family were the Italians and the Greeks in attendance. Her grandfather seemed to be the center of the group though. Which just seemed natural.

She gives a squeeze to Pietro's hand, "We should go and thank people for coming and see how everyone is. I know it's been a long day for everyone involved." she tells him. She looks about to see who might be closest and she sees Tommy with his friends and there is a smile and a wave given his way, "You want to go that way," she nods towards where the nephew is standing, "Or that way." she nods in the direction of Janet and a few others.
Natasha Romanova Natasha Romanoff is sitting back and looking over at everyone. Family, friends, hangers on.. And those there for the open bar. Natasha's likely in the 'latter' category. There's enough firepower onhand here from capes that don't particularly care about having to be low key that one might almost feel pity for any unwelcome party crashers. Natasha's quite content todrink while off the job, even as she takes a sip of something stronger and a bit more acidic than she normally does.

She would give a nod over at Janet and the other members of the Avengers within earshot. She seems quite content to be a wallflower.
Pietro Maximoff It is, with no doubt, an open bar. Pietro fully expects his friends and family to behave. That, and some of the guests might go bankrupt trying to catch a buzz! "I think that your family has been quite wonderful to have in attendance, Micola. I am very glad they were able to be present for our day." He replies back to her, smiling with genuine affection for the blushing bride.

"Shall we start with Tommy, then? He seems like he might vibrate out of his skin. That, and I have a job for him tonight." A wry grin, understanding the youth's position - how the world seems to crawl at times. "Then we'll flow around the room and say thanks to the people who made this day even better by attending. Sound like a plan?"
Tommy Shepherd     Getting conflicting information from Gabby and Bunny causes Tommy to do another one of those stand-up, sit-down maneuvers again. Thank whatever God(s) might be listening for the fidget toy he's handed, because Tommy immediately begins fiddling with it at superspeed. Hopefully these things are stress-tested.

"It's less being related to royalty as it is possibly being an alt-universe potential nephew, but we look too alike for it to not be something, right?" He motions between himself and Pietro. Because it really is uncanny. Tommy is just a little bit smaller, and... you know, less put-together in general. Especially now.

Apparently he makes some kind of decision, because Tommy's back on his feet. "I'm going to go get us bev-ohh, hi," he says, definitely not loud enough for Micola to hear him over the noise, but he does wave and smile in return. And then he sits back down, head leaning waaaaay back against his chair. "Why am I so bad at this," he groans.

He's staring at the ceiling now. Which means he has no idea that Pietro has picked him to head towards first. Hooooo boy.
Steve Rogers Steve Rogers takes a sip of his drink as he gives a few people smiles and nods as he meets eyes with them as they enter, or move about the room. Seeing Natasha try to be a wallflower, Steve drifts over that way.

"Nat," he offers warmly enough with a nod of his head. "It was a nice ceremony, don't you think?" he asks her as he turns his attention to look around the room. "So is this very much different from what Russian weddings are like?" he inquires.

Spotting Tony across the room, Steve gets a slight smile seeing him schmooze with the politicians. He nods over towards the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, giving a greeting across the room.
Gabby Kinney "He didn't tell you?" Gabby asks a little concerned at Bunny's surprise over the situation. She would have thought it would have come up with the whole preparing for the wedding thing. Tommy explains though, earning a little nod from her as well as a shrug. "I met Tommy just before he found out. There were concerns he might have been a clone at first, so..." A little gesture at herself is given. "Clone expert right here."

When Tommy up and downs again she purses her lips trying very hard not to grin at the antics. Poor guy. Technically he COULD go grab them drinks before Pietro and Micola got here, too, but that might just make things worse.

"Anwyay if there's any faces here you don't know, I probably recoginze them at least. Like Mr. Billionaire pants over there, and Captain America hell yeah." There's a little fistpump from that as she finds herself nearly bouncing in her chair, too. Okay might be SOME admiration there for that fellow, but she recovers clearing her throat.
Tony Stark The owner of the seat Tony is currently in has shown up. Tony doesn't seem to notice them at first - and being an introvert or patient is not a way to get his attention quickly. However, since Steve waved and hailed Tony -- he notices the poor person standing there with a salad in hand, and gives them a good-natured grin. "Salad bar, huh, Ralph? Which way?" Tony asks the man companionably, getting to his feet. Ralph is surprised and confused that Tony knew his name instantly: but it was just from the seat name placard!

Tony goes to collect a salad first, before strolling over towards Steve. He picks up some champagne on his way back for his other hand, finding his correct place to sit without issue. It's a little strange to Tony to not have Pepper here, and his thoughts drift that way, making him unusually quiet - for now. "Mr. Billionaire" pants will be chatty again soon enough.

In fact, as soon as he fully sits -- "Can we expect some dancing from you, Cap?"
Bunny Macleod     "... well if that's what he's going to look like when he gets older--" Bunny murmurs, leaning over to Gabby as she sips from a water glass, and watches as Tommy practices Wedding Table Calestenics, and she takes a deep breath, and pulls out her posh proper self from private school of yester-years.

"BEcause it's a situation you're not familiar with so it's making you all sorts of nervous. And who wouldn't be? I mean, that's /Tony Stark/, that's /Captain America/ and ohmigod Janet Van Dyne --" she whispers, and sinks down just a moment "I *loved* her Spring 2020 line..." she breathes out, and then begins wringing her fingers a moment.

"there's just... a lot of people, a lot of heroes, and I just got stuck in an IKEA with /Ant-Man/."
Natasha Romanova And then Steve is going over to talk to her and Natasha smiles, "Well, there's a difference between how the well to do in Russia do weddings, and how the serfs do them. Most of the very high end weddings are the ways that the Tsar did them. Perhpas with a bit more class in the debauchery. The way the serfs do them.. WEll.. Far more religious. Whether they speak in praise of the Orthodoxy or Stalin."

Then, she's going to try and clasp a hand over on Steve's wrist if she could. And she goes to lead him if she can towards the dance floor.
Micola Maximoff "Then lets do that." Micola nods her head to her husband. She doesn't have any trouble navigating the gauntlet of people to get where Tommy and his +1's are sitting and there is a smile to them, "Tommy, thank you for coming." she tells him. Then she looks to Bunny and there is a smile, "It is good to see you again as well." she tells her. She's not familiar with Gabby, but she's given the same welcoming smile, "Welcome, thank you for coming with Tommy. I'm Micola and this is Pietro." she introduces the silver haired man she just married.

"Is everything going alright? Not too packed in here?" she asks the group. She knew Tommy didn't do well with things like this.
Janet van Dyne Janet hesitates for just a few moments. On the one hand, Natasha is a perennial wallflower, and with the combined extrovert powers of her and Tony, there's a good chance that they could lure out the fun side of the taciturn assassin.

On the other hand, Steve beats her to the punch by showing up first. Janet forces herself to sit patiently and nibble some food for a good twenty count before she collects a drink and stands up. She heads towards the other Avengers. Fortune favors her as Natasha pulls Steve away, and Janet ends up next to Tony, drink in hand. "Natasha's actually on the dance floor? And for fun?" She lifts a brow at the departing soldier and redhead, and looks up at Tony. "Are we spiking the drinks already and nobody told me?"
Steve Rogers Steve Rogers looks like he's in a casual, relaxed mood despite wearing the fine suit. He takes a sip of his drink, eyes going over to Tony as he approaches with the salad. The choice in food draws a small smile from Steve, as if saying without saying something about Pepper being a good influence on Tony Stark.

The question from Tony gets a quiet, chuckle from Steve. Before he can answer though, another man's voice beats him to the response. "Well if he doesn't, I certainly mean to," says an older, bald man as he rolls up in a powered wheelchair.

Steve tips his head to the man. "Professor Xavier. I'm sure you'll find no shortage of partners if so," he says in a good-natured tone, and offering his hand to Charles Xavier, which the Professor shakes.

"Good to see you, Captain Rogers. Tony," the Professor says. "I'm going to go over and greet the happy couple. And you," Professor Xavier says to Steve, "Are heading for the dance floor I think." Just then Nat is grabbing Steve's hand and he chuckles, setting down his drink and moving with Natasha out onto the dance floor.

As Janet comes over, the Professor gives her a warm smile. "Miss van Dyne, always a pleasure," he tells her, before he'll continue on towards the bride and groom.
Pietro Maximoff There's a grace that Pietro is moving with - beyond his normal quick actions. He's floating - this is one of the best days of his life, and it shows. Letting Micola pick the way, he walks alongside her. There are polite nods and offered hugs to people as they pass, eventually coming to the table where Tommy, Gabby and Bunny are conversing. There's a nod to the two ladies, and a smile to Tommy.

"As we spoke before, we're all happily safe here Tommy." A wry grin. "Relax just a touch, yes? It's a celebration." A lean in, a bit closer to the younger version of himself. "I have a request of you, if you don't mind?"

"If you see someone offering my lovely wife an alcoholic drink, please intercept it, will you? She's not drinking for the foreseeable future." A chuckle. There is no mention of what he should /do/ with said drink, of course. "Care to introduce your lovely friends?"
Natasha Romanova The dance that Natasha goes to tug Steve along with is one that he might not be fluent with. It's one that's at a faster pace. To music that decidedly is not Russian, at least within the little circle that hte two are in. It has a strange, rhythmic beat yet still doesn't seem to be carrying that far. Just as mall little corner of things. The tempo goes to increase while Natasha grins.

moving in for the kill as she goes for a very, very fast dance over with Steve, her feet going to tap along to a song that seemingly only plays for the pair as the redhead is, in fact, doing something for the pure fun of it. It might be something htat a Cossack would do. And apparently if there is anything over in the drinks, then it must be pretty strong if even Janet feels it!

Tommy Shepherd     "Hey, Ant-Man's cool. His kid's still got my hat from the Richmond team, the uh... the.... uh, the Richmond team. I keep meaning to swing by the Mansion and ask about getting it back, but..." Then he'd have to be around the Avengers. Which is a lot of pressure, hence why he's having such a hard time with things now. All these heroes and here's ex-juvie flunkout Tommy Shepherd.

Ignoring his inhospitable inner monologue, Tommy continues his perusal of the ceiling. "I miss IKEA. I used to calorie-load with their meatballs and then knock out 8 solid hours of deliveries no problems. The Flying Squirrels!" This semi-non-sequitor is delivered with a light slap of his palm to the table-top, juuuuuust as Pietro and Micola make their way over. Cue deer-in-headlights look.

Only Pietro is privy to the actual amount of (sped-up) time it takes for Tommy to recover from the shock. But he clears his throat and introduces "Bunny," and "Gabby," in turn, gesturing to each of them as he does so. "Thanks for having us."

At Micola's question, Tommy shakes his head. And then to Pietro's, he nods. "Yeah, sure," he answers, apparently seeing no issue with that. Especially once the implication of where those drinks end up hits him. This results in a double thumbs-up to Pietro, before he turns to Gabby and offers his hand, palm up. Along with the now-broken fidget toy.

All he says is "Sorry," with a half-smile.
Bunny Macleod     It's Bunny's turn to stand, since you should stand when addressing the bride at her wedding, and royalty besides. She gives a little dip of her her head and bend of her knee in a practiced curtsey.

"Bernice MacLeod, I'm a friend of Tommy's." she introduces herself with her *real name*, she's that anxious, holding onto her pink clutch as she turns back to the dance floor where Natasha and Steve are dancing and her shoulders rise up.

"I think maybe me and my three-inch anklebreakers will sit this one out--" she mutters.
Gabby Kinney Gabby Kinney watches the movements of Cap and Natasha curiously. She'd actually interacted more with Natasha than others though she wasn't really certain if that should ever be brought up. Darn the whole secret identity thing. Even if she herself didn't much prescribe to it, most of the others she worked with did. The dance is suitably distracting.

Not as much as the newly married couple though as they greet them, and she flashes a grin toward them. "Hi! Congratulations you two! You look fantastic tonight, by the way, I mean I know you know it but you do," she gushes warmly to Micola while Pietro whispers his request to Tommy.

By the time Tommy has held his hand out toward her she's already reached into her purse to pull another fidget out which she plops into his hand while scooping up the broken one. "Yeah I wasn't expecting that to last long," she assures with a wry grin aside to Tommy. To reassure him further or perhaps to help knock him off balance a bit so that he can actually relax some, she leans in to give his cheek a quick peck.

With that done she properly introduces herself, "Gabrielle Kinney, but everyone calls me Gabby. Or 'oh shit', depending on the situation," she jokes.
Tony Stark "I've already started a scan to check for mind-control slugs," Tony answers Janet, with a gesture of a fork towards Natasha. His smile is hooked but natural.

"Professor," the Avenger then greets Xavier, pleasantly - and pleased he didn't have to correct him to call him Tony. Seems the man remembered. It's things like that which definitely give Xavier this personal touch and cause everyone to like the man. Tony's not immune, either: nor does he want to be.

Tony turns in his chair some to observe the dance, making quick work of the salad: and quicker work of the alcohol. While Pepper has helped make salad into a habit - other habits still exist, and when it's right there? Yep, he'll be drinking. For now, though, he's still extremely sober. Which means the next offer is for fun. "Can't leave them out there alone with the possible mind-slug, though, can we, Janet?" Tony suggests, with a clear offer of hand to dance to his fellow Avenger.
Micola Maximoff Micola squints at Pietro, "Hey, I have alotted for one drink tonight." she grumps at him. It's not going to cause an immediate annullment of the marriage, BUT it was New Year's Eve and there was at least one drink to be had! She doesn't stay grumpy long really either. "Tommy we're always happy to have you and your friends." she tells him. Then she gives a smile to Bunny and then she shakes her head at the curtsey, "You don't have to do that here." she tells her. "It's good to meet you, Gabby and thank you for the compliments and for coming. I'm happy to meet more of Tommy's companions." she tells her with a smile.

She then gives a look to the dance floor and then to the man that was rolling closer to them and there is a smile, she'd never met him, but Micola was generally very welcoming of everyone.
Steve Rogers Professor Xavier rolls up to Micola and Pietro, waiting for a moment where he won't be interrupting when he greets them. This affords Charles a moment to give Gabby a smile to greet her.

"Pietro, thank you for the invitation. It was a lovely ceremony," Professor Xavier tells Pietro and Micola. "And I'm delighted to finally be able to meet your betrothed. Now wife. I'm Charles Xavier. An old family friend," he greets the bride with.

Meanwhile, Steve is doing his best to adapt his steps to the dance that Natasha has begun. "I'm starting to understand something about Russians," he says as the dance strays further and further from his realm of expertise. "Mainly that I don't understand Russians very well."
Natasha Romanova There's a slow, building grin from Natasha given to Steve, "That's a very, very good thing to be aware of." She's picking up the pace of the dance faster and faster. Natasha actually can dance very well. The pace picks up even as just for a moment it might look like there are sparks over from her feet going across the floor in a blur.

The rule is to not overshadow the bride and groom. THere's nothing about intimidating hte rest of the guests, is there? Natasha goes to keep on increasing the speed of her maneuvers, trusting Steve to keep up with her..
Janet van Dyne Janet curtsies at the Professor in greeting, and flashes him a warm smile. "It's good to see you again," she bids the man. She doesn't keep him long, though, and when Tony offers her a courteous hand, she accepts it gracefully.

"God, if we leave them out there any longer, Natasha's going to kill someone just for style points," she murmurs as a theatrical aside. Janet walks onto the dance floor with her usual unimpeachable confidence and steps into Tony's reach with a comfortable familiarity. Counter to Natasha's athletic display, Janet lets Tony take the full lead and starts gliding smoothly over the dance floor. Janet fairly floats over the hardwood, just as graceful as if she were flying through the air. The music isn't entirely familiar but she has no trouble keeping the beat Tony sets.
Pietro Maximoff There's a smile to Bunny at the curtsey and manners. "Thank you, Bernice - no need to stand on formalities here, this is a celebration not a royal court." A soft chuckle, appreciative of her gesture none the less. "And if you like, the reception hall has comfortable slippers if you want to change footwear to dance in." A nod.

As Tommy gets the gist, he's given a nod - fast enough that it'd be hard for others to notice. "Don't over-indulge, yes?" Another nod of thanks, this one visible to all, is offered to Gabby. "Thank you for attending - I do hope you enjoy the food, drink and the companionship this evening." A brow does arch at the peck to Tommy's cheek.

As Micola looks to the dancefloor, his eyes follow. "When you are ready, of course. We had the ceremonial first dance, but that doesn't mean we can't get more in when the mood suits?" A kiss to her cheek. Then the Professor is wheeling up.

The latter is turned towards, a slight bow of Pietro's head to the other man. "A pleasure that you could make it, Professor. Micola, this is a friend of mine, Professor Charles Xavier. Professor, my wife, Micola." The surname is left clear for now - the discussion of what one to use still to be had.
Micola Maximoff Micola gives a smile to Charles and lets Pietro do the talking for the moment. Then she gives another look to him and then to Tommy, "Not too much." she tells him. Then she pokes Pietro in the side softly. She then gives her full attention to the man that knows Pietro and she gives a soft nod to him, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Professor." she states as she offers her hand in greeting.

"I appreciate that so many took time out of their day and evening to join us. I know having a wedding on New Year's Eve might be silly, but felt right." she muses to that.

Then there is a look back to Pietro, "I am happy to spend some time mingling with others or dancing. You pick." she tells her husband.
Tommy Shepherd     This is a rarity: Tommy is so suitably distracted, maybe by what's happening on the dance floor or maybe by the kiss to his cheek, that he's surprised to find the fidget toy reassembled in his palm. Yes, he's entirely missed that Gabby swapped it out, and it's only once his brain catches up to what she said that he laughs.

And then laughs more, at her follow-up joke.

"You and me both," Tommy says to Bunny, regarding any potential dancing. No, he's not trying to follow that up with any of his own dance moves, juvenile they might be.

He keeps his butt in his seat, even as he shakes his head at what Natasha and Steve are up to. Then he shakes his head again at thinking of the Black Widow and Captain America as "Natasha and Steve." If Gabby's star-struck, Tommy is just baffled by the whole thing.

It's not like he's the superhero-obsessed twin or anything! Poor Billy, missing out on all this. And Billy would at least know who Professor Xavier is; unfortunately, all Tommy can do is assume he's another one of the rich and-or famous attendees, even after the introduction happens in front of him. Maybe someday he'll start keeping up with the news more.

"Scout's honor," he promises to Pietro, while of course neglecting to mention he was never in the Boy Scouts.
Bunny Macleod     The pink-haired girl blushes deep pink. "Then it's just Bunny, everyone calls me that." she manages to squeak out before she plunks her butt right back in the seat next to Tommy, smoothing out her dress a little bit before she whispers to Tommy "Okay. Your family is coooool..." she breathes out. "How many alcoholic drinks do you think we're going to imbibe in on her behalf?"
Natasha Romanova For the scenario, apparently Natasha Romanoff has managed to out-dance Steve. So, as she goes to disengage over from Captain America, there's a faint bit of smugness in the face of the old assassin. It fades over as she goes to get another drink, and as if a switch had been flipped off in victory, she's going back to her normal status then of heading back now to somewhere quieter.
Tony Stark Tony knows what he's doing on the dance floor - there's YEARS of playboy experience that involves a lot of dance of various kinds. This particular one stays wedding appropriate! Because, really, the point of it is due to that he wanted to dance, for fun. He grins across at Steve, but doesn't turn this into a competition. Some big 'situation' at someone else's wedding isn't on the menu! Just honestly enjoying the music and the dance itself with a high quality dance partner. Janet certainly doesn't let him down: hardly. Her skill inspires some fun dance options, as he takes care to be sure they BOTH look good.

As the song winds down, he attempts a teasing side-hug of Janet, with a warm smile. "Another?" he queries, though there's no real pressure in either direction about it.
Micola Maximoff Micola gives a soft smile to the group and she gives a nod, "Don't forget your wedding favors. I hope you like them and find some way to use them." she tells Tommy and the girls. Then she looks back to Professor Xavier, "I apologize for us bouncing around. I'd love to talk more later." she tells him. Then she's looking off to where others are dancing and then she realizes that there are unknown faces over by her grandfather.

Which causes her to give a look to Pietro and others, "I'll be right back." she states. Then she's walking carefully over to where her grandfather is seated, having picked up one of the small gift bags off the favor table as she went.
Gabby Kinney Gabby Kinney grins in amsuement at the apparent turn of events the evening has taken. The whole 'protect Micola from drinks' situation earns a chuckle. "Those are all for you two," she assures the pair she's with as she shakes her head sadly. "Does no good for me. Bonus: I'm always the designated. Though for reals, you guys should have fun, even if it means being a bit shorter, Bunny," she teases over to the one in pink.

Hopping to her feet with an amazing amount of balance given the heels she wore, she glances back to the comfortably seated pair with a wink. "Well I for one am going to go throw down on the dance floor for a bit. You two be good. There's extra fidgets in the bag if you need, and bandaids for foot sores." The latter must be for Bunny.
Pietro Maximoff Charles exchanges pleasantries, then makes his rounds - finding a table to chat with any number of notables. Pietro gives him a nod in parting, looking to the table they were still near. "We should mingle a bit more, Micola." He suggests. A smile to those seated. "Bunny, Gabby, Tommy - thank you all for coming. Enjoy yourselves, please."

That said, he heads towards where Nat had stepped off the dance floor. Micola heads towards her grandfather, Pietro keeping an eye in that direction as she goes. "Thank you for coming out, Natasha. Quite the dance performance." A wry smile is offered to the Russian. "I think you may have confused Steve even more." The man muses.
Tommy Shepherd     Tommy slings a comforting arm around Bunny's shoulders, pulling her close in a side-hug before he says, "Hold that thought." Then he's up, gone, a faint breeze tugging at the hems of dresses as he locates champagne.

Do they card here? Who cares! Because Tommy certainly didn't give anyone a chance to check his.

"You can at least enjoy the bubbles," he says as he puts a flute in Gabby's hand. Then he does the same to Bunny, before he tugs her up onto her feet. "We're not letting her go out there on her own, right?" With that, he drags Bunny out after Gabby onto the dance floor, likely with promises of holding her shoes if it comes to that.
Janet van Dyne Janet takes a quick moment to look around the dance floor. She spots the happy couple making the rounds, then shoots a look up at Tony again. "Yes, but perhaps we should say somethnig nice to Pietro and Micola?" It's more statement than question. "At least we should say hello before they make an Irish exit." She moves to Tony's left side and hooks her arm through his elbow. It looks perfectly genteel and nicely conceals how Janet starts applying pressure to Tony's arm to jog him into motion.
Bunny Macleod     "If I were allowed my skates I would wow and amaze on the dance floor and people would forget that you're *just barely* taller than me, Gabrandon." Bunny murmurs to the dark-haired girl before Tommy slings an arm around her shoulders, and she gives a slight smile, and holds up her hand as she's gifted fancy bubbly grape booze.

"To the happy couple." she states, before getting dragged up.

"H-Hey! Tommy! I'm not wearing my skaaaaaaaaaaates!" she protests before she's brought out to the dance floor with Tommy and Gabby!
Tony Stark No pressure needed! "Absolutely. Have we waited long enough to beat the rush of well-wishers?" Tony chuckles, turning to look towards where he expects the pair to be. Janet clears that up quickly, with her guidance, and he's happy to go that way.

As they head over, they pass Bunny, Tommy and Gabby, and the protests of Bunny get an amused grin in passing from Tony.
Micola Maximoff Micola is in quiet conversation with her grandfather and those that arrived while she wasn't looking. She might look slightly 'annoyed', but she doesn't throw a plate at anyone. She points them to seats that were open and then turns to head back to Pietro with a smile. She even manages to get back to where he is with Nat and there's a smile in greeting to her, "Quite the moves out there." she comments to her as she reaches out to give Pietro's arm a soft squeeze.
Pietro Maximoff The couple makes the rounds, no one is missed - everyone is thanked for attending and making the evening so much more special. Pietro and Micola share dances, following the traditions of dancing with guests as well. The DJ is fantastic at reading the mood of the event, finding the right time for more energetic songs, as well as the tender slow ones.

Champagne is handed out nearer to midnight, to those brave souls who still are in attendance. As the midnight hour gets nearer, the party is ushered out towards the patio - space heaters have been brought out for a more comfortable time. Auld Lang Syne begins playing, as the clock strikes the hour.

Fireworks are launched - giving the reception a clear view of the beautiful pyrotechnics display to ring in the New Year.

A perfect finish for a perfect evening.
