Bunny Macleod     Bunny had been being unusually dodgy the last few days since she'd arrived home via an uber from upstate with a backpack that didn't belong to her. She'd gone on her deliveries with the pack. She's taken the pack to the park. She's checked the pack through the night.

And now, the pink-haired little smoll was on the king sized bed, on her stomach, watch something monch on a plate full of kale.

It's smoller, it's greenish with coppery dapple, looking a bit like green mud, and it has a little bit of a beak, its stubby tail slowly wagging back and forth.

"I'll have to tell 'em about you eventually, you know. Are you gonna be huge maybe?"
Gabby Kinney The littlest was being sus. Gabby wasn't really gonna push her on it only because... well she at times had her secrets, too. Still she was curious. There was an odd, unfamiliar scent that was coming from that bag. While she didn't MEAN to try and sneak up to find out what was going on, that didn't mean she was going to avoid either.

Which is why when she enters the apartment catching a whiff of that odd scent again she very, very quietly closes the door behind her so as to not be heard. Okay maybe a little sneaking.

A little gasping squeak comes as she spots Bunny on the bed with--"A dino!" There's a giddy little excited note to her remark as she lifts both hands to press closed fists to cover her mouth repressing the urge to squeal. No sense in making a high pitched noise that might startled the little thing. "Bunny where did you... what... WHY didn't you tell us!?"
Bunny Macleod     So sneaking. Much sniff. And then the EEEE.

Bunny jumps as the squeak gets heard, her eyes going wide as she reaches over and grasps the baby dinosaur, who beeps/honks adorably, the rattle of a collar tag coming through the air.

"GABBY!" she squeaks, protectively encircling the dino.

"I... uh... had a mis-adventure?" she states, giving a slight wince at the admission.
Gabby Kinney Gabby Kinney bounces on the balls of her feet a few times as she watches Bunny try to protect the adorable little anki. Not that she knew the proper name. She knew SOME dinosaurs, some more intimately than others (don't ask) but this was a new one to her. A single deep breath is drawn and held to try and get her racing heart to slow a bit.

"That... is so cool," she gushes out sounding just a bit like Bunny herself does when she's sometimes remarking about things that Gabby does. At least the feeling is mutual. Lowing her hands she edges closer to the bed to sink down sitting on the edge. "What's it's name? What is it anyway? I was a compy once, got turned into one along with a bunch of other people... Well they were other dinosaurs anyway."
Bunny Macleod     The dinosaur beeps again, and Bunny breathes out, letting him go a moment and letting the little dinosaur wander a moment before it goes back to monching kale.

"... no, *that* is so cool. You were a compy during that thing where everyone got weird dinotransformations?" she asks, her eyes going wide a moment, and then she holds out her hand. The football-sized dinosaur meanders over for chin scritches.

"I named it Beeper. 'Cause it beeps, y'know? It's a dinosaur. I got kinda shanghai'd and ended up at a black market dinosaur and antiquities auction run by a Chinese gangster and a whole bunch of super powered people were there and it was *weird* and I didn't know anyone but I think one of 'em was a SuperPerson Type deal and someone helped me escape. I had to bubble a couple of times." she explains, and rubs the back of her head as she looks up.

"I figured you an' Tommy would be mad 'cause I ended up in trouble."
Gabby Kinney Gabby Kinney watches Bunny with a kind of soft, understanding gaze as she explains the whole situation. "Not happy you got in a dangerous spot... but you're all right. Sounds like you did good." She reaches out to rest her hand on Bunny's head giving a little ruffle.

"I'm hardly one to talk about not getting into danger. Just so long as you're careful. And we start training to help you know how to react if it happens again," she adds with a wry grin. That wasn't going to be a total handwave at it after all. "Yeah, I was a comy. All feathery and fluffy. I could KIND of talk but it was a pain."

Lightly she reachese out toward Beeper to let him sniff her hand too before attempting a gentle back-rub. "So cute."
Bunny Macleod     Beeper meanders, and sniffs, and then bumps his head against Bunny's hand again. Mom gives best scritches.

"Oooh, when the heck am I gonna start fitting training into my schedule?" Bunny asks, her pink hair now ruffled and all over the place before she leans back sideways on the bed.

The little dinosaur wanders around, and then attempts to eat Tommy's pillow on the bed.

"... what was it like being a tiny fluffy dinosaur?"
Gabby Kinney Gabby Kinney laughs quietly at the attempted pillow eatage. She reaches over to very carefully extract it from the dino baby, and contemplates. "Well. I could still think properly, I didn't lose who I was. I was hungry a lot though, and it was cold. The feathers helped but I still liked being near the heat vents."

Lifting both her hands up close to her chest she wiggles her fingers. "Still had kind of thumbs so that helped a lot. I could jump pretty well so I could get up on the couch fine."

"Mostly though I just tried to cheer up the others who were panicking over it by acting stupid cute. I knew Dr. McCoy was working on a cure, and I trust him."
Bunny Macleod     "Beeper, we don't eat pillows! Especially not Tommy's, he needs his sleep!" Bunny scolds gently, and she pulls the dino away from the pillow as Gabby extracts the pillow from danger.

"That's so cool. You not only know all these awesome people, but you've just been the best all around." Bunny gives a slight grin.

"Someday I'll be as cool as you."
Gabby Kinney "Bunny, most of the things that you think make me 'cool' are things that just happen to me. Not stuff I've done myself," Gabby points out with a little laugh of amusement. The pillow is placed back where it is, safe and sound, while she watches as the little dino gets cuddled. "We should get him some toys. He's probably bored," she reasons as for the 'trying to eat pillow' situation.

Ah, where was I? Oh right." She looks back to Bunny quite seriously. "You've helped take care of your family. You work hard. You want to help people... That's all stuff you've done. And now," she adds glancing down with a nod to Beeper, "You've had an adventure and gotten an awesome friend from it. I think you're pretty cool too, you know."
Bunny Macleod     "Yeah, but you handle them. You have skills and adeventures, you know all these cool people, you've done so much." Bunny states, flipping the dino over to make him beep excitedly as she scritches at his armored stomach.

"I kinda just roller skate and make bubbles, y'know?" the pink-haired girl gives a smile. "An' now there's another mouth to feed. Luckily there's kale, and it was on sale so I kinda filled the fridge with sale kale..."
Gabby Kinney "Probably should find out what his diet consisted of too," Gabby reasons with a thoughtful hum. "On the plus side... For now he's small." That was another consideration though: Just how big did these ones get? She wasn't sure.

Shifting on the bed she flops down to stretch out beside Bunny still wearing a grin. "You do rollerderby, too," she points out. "Which is equally cool. Anyway I had a headstart on knowing how to handle things since I was forced to learn to fight for years. If I hadn't been?" That actually causes her to pause as she considers the ceiling for a few long moments. What would she have done? Or been? "I don't know. Maybe I would have just gone to school, made friends. The usual stuff."
Bunny Macleod     "Could be worse." Bunny states, and she flops over, and she sets her head on Gabby's stomach, holding up Beeper over them as the tiny dino beeps in delight.

"Yeah, I do Roller Derby but I don't heal up quick from it." she states quietly, and she holds her eyes skyward a moment, and her Brooklyn accent fades off.

"You know my family used to have a lot of money. My dad used to make millions of dollars a year. All I got from it was boarding school."
Gabby Kinney Gabby Kinney reaches down to let her hand play idly through Bunny's hair. A soothing, petting gesture as she watches her play with Beeper as well. "Yeah, I know. You kind of mentioned before but didn't get into details." Her other arm props behind her neck so she can raise her head just a bit to look down towards Bunny. "Want to talk about it? Boarding school soundsd like it has a whole lot of issues." She kind of understood that.

"It does explain why your sister is a bit out of touch with things, too. Sorry for scaring her that time. ... Kind of."
Bunny Macleod     "She deserves it." Bunny replies, and she gives a small smile. "It's not that important. Just used to be a rich brat, now I'm just a brat." she jokes, tilting her head and drawing her blue eyes to Gabby.

"She's spoiled 'cause she's the baby and my dad's favorite. I look like my mom. So 'course Dad's not real... y'know. It's why I dyed my hair. To be different." she states, and she purses her lips and looks up at Beeper.

"I think he has your eyes. And Tommy's nose."
Gabby Kinney "Sounds like your dad needs a kick in the nuts."

"I don't know what it's like being rich myself, but I've had friends that were. Are? I don't know. Been awhile since I really saw them." Nevermind what Roberto gave her for Christmas. Ahem. "If you want to do heroing though you need to do some training," she points out with another little ruffle of hair. "Busy or no."

"You got a baby to protect now," she points out with a grin. "Nah, he takes after you."
Bunny Macleod     "Can't wait to get him on a set of skates." the skater girl gives a grin, and Bunny smiles, and then exhales. "All right, so training, how are we gonna start? Are you gonna like, lob flaming arrows at me or something?" she pauses, and gasps "DO WE GET MONTAGE MUSIC? Totally think 'Make a Man Outta You' should be on the workout list."
Gabby Kinney "Oh my god I can make him a tiny little suit. He probably won't need much in the way of clothes like sweaters or whatever since Summer is coming but come Fall..." Gabby's mind is already working on what cute attire to make Beeper. "Oh! Rainboots too!" she points out with a little grin.

"Of-fucking-COURSE we get montage music. I've got a whole playlist of stuff for working out. It makes it so much better," Gabby assures with a little laugh. "No flaming arrows. I'll probably start with teaching you some hand to hand defensive stuff, in case your shields don't work. Basics first." She regards Bunny thoughtfully as she seriously considers this. "You're already in pretty good shape with the skating all the time so I think we can skip the running stuff, but maybe a bit of weights just to help a smidge. Then we can work on throwing stuff at you. Like water balloons and bouncy balls."
Bunny Macleod     "You're gonna not enjoy throwing water balloons and bouncy balls at me at *all* are you?" Bunny laughs from her place laying against Gabby's stomach, and she sets Beeper on her own stomach, who's happy for the warms and gives a happy beep.

"When do we start with the training? Does Tommy know about it yet?"
Gabby Kinney "I mean... A bit, but it's about helping you improve, too. Reaction times are important." Plus Gabby didn't want to start with knives like her sister might have. Laura was more than a bit extreme with her 'training'.

"Sort of? I did tell him I'd see about getting you some training so you'd be safer for knowing how to do stuff, but uh." She pauses, raising her hand to scratch at her cheek. "Not really. Should probably bring that up with him. How about tomorrow? Or this weekend if that's not good?"
Bunny Macleod     "Tomorrow's fine. Fridays are good for me during the day, but I've got stuff at night to tend to." she states, and then she turns her eyes back to Gabby, and she puts on the most serious face she can muster.

    "I'm Batman."
Gabby Kinney Gabby Kinney snorts quietly in amusement. "Babe, I can't even claim that. That guy is tall and built like a brick house." Of course she knew a few of his 'kids' but she'd only met him in person the one time.

"However if 'Batman' needs back up, give me a call, okay?"
Bunny Macleod     "It's all a holigram. Light and dark. Technology." Bunny gives a bright grin, and then gives a yawn.

"Batman I think needs a nap. Snuggly Gab. Snuggly Beep. All I need now is Tommy and then it'd be *perfect*. Mwa ha ha. My evil plan for ultimate comfy nap..."
