Owner Pose
Vivian Vision The moving in process has gone smoothly. Waaaaaaay less work than even two superheroes would make of the process. Either the neighbours are all really cool or Vivian Vision, AI and expert at organising, bribed a bunch of people with baked goods in exchange for help.

It's probably a little of both. A friendly building and an AI able to track people using their phones to direct the flow of possessions. It also helps Viv didn't really own a lot of things to begin with. Just boxes of costumes, some carefully sealed boxes containing art things, and a few things she build at GIRL which she carries herself. No letter anyone walk off with the TV which she's tweaked to have a picture quality she can actually tolerate without getting a migraine.

"I hope it's okay that only your name is on the lease," she says with a frown. "I technically can't rent property and it's a lot of hassle operating a dozen shell companies just so I can pay a deposit."
Molly Hayes Moving is a lot easier when you have vast superhuman strength. Boxes mean nothing. Mostly she just had to worry about balance issues - stacking ten boxes on top of each other might be an easy cool feat of strength, but keeping themb balanced on the stairs is not in Molly's powerset. But Viv is good for that, pointing out to her things like 'don't walk with boxes piled higher than the ceiling'. Good catching, Viv!

She just doesn't have as much stuff in general. She was a runaway, after all, and her clothing budget was always, uh, a little on the low side. She's been workinga few jobs here and there - waitressing, mostly - and trying to figure out what exactly she wanted to do now that she was out of school. A lot of her friends were college bound, but Molly wasn't so sure if that was for her. Academics just bored her and without a strong career path other than 'superhero', there didn't seem to be much point."

"Look, at least you have money. I made seventy five dollars last week!" she says. "But I'll find something so I can pay my share, don't worry. Well, you won't because you don't worry, like, ever, but I'm saying, I'm going to be fine, I can carry my own weight!
Vivian Vision "Oh, well you don't have to worry about bills any more unless you feel more comfortable contributing towards them. I can simply think crypto-currency into existence and then sell it," Vivian points out with a shrug. "Money doesn't really mean anything to me. And every one of my organic family is at least a millionaire. They'd probably agree to pay for rent without a second thought but... I don't want to impose upon them." Eating sunlight and being able to fly really help keep her living expenses down too.

Really the main box stacking issue was doorways rather than ceilings. It's unlikely any of their things weighed enough to tax either of their super strength. But it's probably best not to weird the neighbours out by phasing things through their walls, ceilings or floors...

"I can think of a few avenues of employment you could pursue. Remote working would suit you well. You can log in at home and, depending on the type of work, you could even earn money while out and about with your jetpack."
Molly Hayes Molly Hayes nods, "Yeah. I just like people. Nico was always the anti-social one. But some people are crappy about mutants and I -am- a mutant, even if I don't always stand out. And I do wanna be a superhero which takes up a fair amount of time. How does Power Girl do it? Do you think she has a regular job?"

She flops onto the couch after she carries it solo up the stairs, kicking off her shoes and putting up her socked feet. She's not actually tired, just bored.

"Okay, breaktime!"
Vivian Vision "I've never really spoken to Power Girl," Vivian says with a shrug. "Outside of a few missions I assisted the Titans and Avengers on. She tended to show up, fight some things, and then move on pretty quickly. I imagine there was often a lot for her to do."

She's more than able to find some willing recruits to take over the lifting, albeit by finding several people to lift the couch /and/ Molly, sending out a series of electronic instructions. Cellphones beeping as she conducts the operation like her orchestra.

She keeps pace alongside. Picking up the discarded shoes so no-one trips.

"Do you think we should adopt the same policies we had in place when we shared a dorm room? Regarding guests, tidying up and other chore distributions. Nothing too draconian. Simply showing consideration for each other by giving advance notice of parties which might be disruptive."
Molly Hayes Molly Hayes nods, "She was just always one of my heroes. Her and She-Hulk were my idols once I got my powers, I wanted to...I dunno. I thought about seeing if they needed sidekicks, but do I even wanna be a sidekick? Maybe! I dunno," she says.

"Yeah, we should keep things more or less the same, although now we have, like, our own bedrooms and more space to have people over, I guess. Ooooh, we should start a game night or something with people. I don't know who. But someone!" she says.
Vivian Vision "Jen is wonderful," Vivian says solemnly. "I don't know if she wants a sidekick but she's shown interest in hiring interns to fight for AI rights?"

Not that she thinks Molly would /enjoy/ being an intern. But who knows perhaps she will try it and find her calling!

"I know a few people who play games. Marie-Ange and Mary the couple I said about who asked me to draw them. I think Harper games but I bet she plays things like poker." She blinks. "I think I assume anyone from Gotham plays tough serious games like poker. How strange."

"Yes I expect it'll be less awkward having a room-mate who doesn't sleep but has her own room to draw in."
Molly Hayes Molly Hayes grins, "That's really awesome! I hate it when people are disrespectful about your s1ynthezoidishness. SO RUDE."

Molly grins, "I still need to meet Harper, by the way. So far I've only seen little glimpses of her on social media. I've never been to Gotham! I'm more of a Metropolis or New York kind of girl. Or LA! I miss California, sometimes," she sighs.

"But yeah, it will help when I wake up to tinkle at three in the morning to not see you standing there. I got used to it, but it took a while!"
Vivian Vision Vivian Vision pouts. "I did not just stand there," she says with a shake of her head. "I sat down. It was more comfortable to read or work on my drawings that way."

She nods. "I'm sure I'll find some time to introduce you two. She's very cool. Punk hair, piercings, and she goes to clubs where the floor requires phasing powers to get the residue from your shoes. Also she loves dinosaurs and engineering. Smart /and/ cool." Is she perhaps boasting a little. Yes. Does she mean every word. Also yes!

"Last time I was in Gotham things got a little... messy. There was an illegal auction and I started a bit of a panic. There was an exotic animal which go loose in a jeep. It was quite the scene."
Molly Hayes Molly Hayes nods, "Yes, you're right, sitting and watching me is definitely less weird," she teases.

"I saw! I like that she's smart, that's good for you, you couldn't have a dumb girlfriend, it would be too hard. I'm barely smart enough to keep up with you, I can't imagine an actual dumb person," she sighs.

She perks up, "An exotic animal? What kind of exotic animal?!?"
Vivian Vision "I'm spoilt really," Vivian says with a happy sigh. "I have plenty of smart people to talk with. But it's not just intelligence which matters. It's nice spending time with people who are kind and considerate too." She sticks her tongue out. "I was not /watching you/. You merely happened to be within my perception range. There's a very important difference. Most of my attention was occupied with reading every online library in the world. Excepting duplicates."

A slightly pointless task given not even she can retain that much information. But a GIRL needs a hobby.

"There were several dinosaurs. I think they might have been genetically engineered. And I think the jeep had a very upset ibex in it. Although I was busy making sure no-one fired any machine guns to focus on the species of animal."
Molly Hayes Molly Hayes stands up from the couch, "Dinosaurs?!? WOW. Well, okay, I have a friend with a dinosaur, but that's weird and not normal wait what kind of dinosaurs OMG I have to text Gert right now..."
