Bart Allen	Bart Allen has came by today a bit later than he normally makes it. He comes out here about three times a week, and heads for the stables. It seems the red headed young man is well known as he waves and gets waves back from a few of the ladies. He is wearing kaki shorts and a short sleeve button up shorts with work boots. Is Bart cosplaying as Steve Irwing?"
Terry O'Neil	"Do my eyes deceive me or is that Doctor Allen, zoologist extraordinaire?" Vorpal is perched on top of one of the walls. As the new head librarian of the cultural center, he has to talk to Diana quite frequently. His preferred waiting spot is one of the high walls- probably feline instinct, since he can see everything from there. A deft jump, a crouch landing, and the Cheshire trots up to him, grinning. "It's been a while, Bart!"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen looks over and nods a bit "Hey Terry, how you doing?" He asks his friend, offering him a hug now, before he is all smelly. "I am stopping by to help take care of Thunder." He says and motions to one of the Kangas who seems to be waiting on Bart.
Terry O'Neil	The feline eagerly hugs back, and ruffles the speedster's hair before letting go, "Oh, you know how it is, busy. The library isn't going to manage itself..." he pauses, and says very quietly, "Don't tell Raven, because she would cast a spell to ensure it WOULD manage itself." He glances at the Kangas, and grins, "Here for your regular caretaking of the hoppers?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and says "Yea, am working with Thunder but I do take the time out to help check out with the others. " He himms and says "Speaking of the Library, any chance I could get locked in over night to read it?"
Terry O'Neil	"Well, the translated material in English, you'd have no problem. But... do you speak Themysciran?" he glances at Bart, "We have some of those transcribed but not yet translated. The incunabula and historical documents on loan... if you're interested in seeing them, you can complete a quick course on the proper handling of those. Some of them can be pretty frail. But, again, you'd have to speak Themysciran to understand them."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen hmms and says "Not yet, but if you have a translation guide I am a pretty quick study." He offers with a smile and says "I figure there is probably some useful stuff to know from it, and probably a lot of interesting things that might never be important to know but still can be neat.
Terry O'Neil	A hand goes out to ruffle Bart's hair again. "See, this is why we get along so well. We're both incurable nerds. You just have the superspeed to cram everything you want in one night. I have to," he rolls his eyes, "adult and manage my time. It's just not fair. Someday you're going to have to find a way to share a bit of Speed Force with me so that I can catch up on my reading list. It's getting ridiculous at this point."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen looks over and says "Oh I can do that, but I would have to be there with you and never really did it for more than a few seconds." He pulls an apple out to feed Thunder "Thunder was one of the first I shared it with somewhat on accident."
Terry O'Neil	Vorpal blinks, hands on his hips. "Wait. Wait. Roll that back for a moment, Bart. You can actually /share/ the Speed Force?" he tarts walking with him towards the stables. "How did you find this out? And is it dangerous?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen looks over and says "Well we can lend it or take speed from folks. Like I said never seen it done for a long time, but usually those who we share with it end up really hungry like us, I figure if we tried it for any length of time, probably would need to make sure they ate at speed before going to normal as well."
Terry O'Neil	"... when can we test it out?" Vorpal asks, suddenly very intrigued. "We could try it at the library when you come in for your lockdown reading. I can order a few pizzas... would I need to wear anything special?" He pauses. He's never really thought about that. "Like... your suits are special, right? To deal with friction? Would I just, like, move myself raw if I'm not wearing one?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen shakes his head and says "Na, our suits are pretty much normal, I mean they have some special stuff for them, the rings and all, but no, I could run around this and would be no issues." He hmmms and says "If we are going to try it, would want to see if we could have a healer, and some of Caitlyn's shakes as well probably.
Terry O'Neil	"A healer?" the Cheshire blinks, and scratches his chin. "Okay, so it's one of those experiments. I'll get us someone who can heal, in case I... what, explode?" he grins at Bart. "I hope it's not explosions. I don't deal well with those. I have a tendency to fall to pieces."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen shakes his head and says "I don't think you would explode, but think about what you would look like if say you did not eat for a week? Your body would start to eat itself, and damage you
Terry O'Neil	"... yeah, that wouldn't be a pretty picture. So... what's the time scale here, comparatively speaking? Like, how much could I do in an hour when in the Speed Force compared to what I normally can do?" the cat is coming up with scenarios. "Like, how far into a book would you get?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen says, "Well how about this, we will start with a few tests, you can see how much I read in an hour to give a bit of a guide. If we are going to do this we should do it scientificly"
Terry O'Neil	"Okay. But are we going to tell Caitlin first? Because she'd want to set up a controlled environment, take measurements, keep strict metrics and records, and I am not entirely sure I have enough lives in me to adhere to all of that rigorously." He sticks out his tongue."I only have nine."
Bart Allen	Bart Allen hmms and thinks about it a bit. Bart is Impulse, but he has also been studying medicine and science. "We could probably set it up ourselves, maybe show her the results afterwards. I will talk to my Grandpa, see if he has tried it for more than seconds with anyone as well."
Terry O'Neil	The cat nods slowly, "That sounds like a plan to me. Let's meet in, say, a week and we can start planning this out? It'll take me that long to get some things organized. I'm actually waiting for Diana to drop by so we can talk about a scholar exchange program, get more documents translated and ultimately introduce subjects in universities. I mean, it's likely to cause some ripples, since the library back in Themyscira has the missing books of Aristotle, the complete poems of Sappho... that sort of thing. Some things will contradict things that are historical consensus at this point-- but that's the fun of it, right?"
Bart Allen	Bart Allen nods a bit and says "Well if your looking for colleges, I put Empire State up there, it is where I am going to school." He admits "Gotta look after it somewhat ya know?" HE asks, but will continue chatting with Terry, and if Terry stays around he will learn a lot about Kangas now that they have a plan, Bart is back to his original goal.
