Owner Pose
Natasha Romanova It had been ongoing with the Tiki Bar, the Bobbleheads and the Funko Pops. But she was well aware that keeping Loki amused was a necessary thing to ensure that he didn't get bored and started playing pranks again. Appealing to him to one up Thor could only last for so long. So that meant having to play along until someone higher up the chain was willing to handle him themselves. Which she could get an idea as tow hen would happen.

Namely never.

SO, Natasha is leading Loki over on a tour through the Mansion, playing up her role as the group would go through. "You've seen the area where Tony and Bruce spend most of thier time setting one another on fire already, I presume?"
Loki Loki has been wonderfully prank-free. That could mean any number of things, though as he hasn't been around in general either, it could be that the Avengers just aren't the current focus now at all. That he was late for the tour suggested that even futher: if the Avengers arne't a priority, they also aren't likely to be a big target.

Still, he did /show up/, as a fashionably late god of chaos, so there's a mix of reliability and not!

"I'm not interested in the lab, if that's what you mean," Loki comments, with an appropriate... lack of interest in the Avenger laboratory. Science is mostly uninteresting. NERDS.

"I saw living areas-- many of you /live/ here, then? On purpose?" Loki wonders.
Natasha Romanova Loki behaving can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good that he decides the place is worthy of his attention. Bad because it means he's planning something to scheme about for later. But, one works wiht what they can. And better the devil you know.. One can also hope by his arrival that he had bigger fish to fry - or at least that most of his scheming was elsewhere and his current side-project was all it was.

"Yes, some live at the Mansion full time. Most of us have our separate quarters and here will be used as part time living facilities. It makes it simple if we need to.. Crash for whatever reason during operations. They also function as personal space here."

As far as she knew very few were at the Mansion full time - but almost all of them had a room here.
Loki "Ah. Mmm. I'm going to magically map that, all right." It wasn't really a /question/ about if he could or not -- but more of the way someone might explain that his magic was not going to blow up anyone or turn her into a frog. There's a disinterest in the tone: going through the motion of saying what he's doing so he's not assumed to be dangerous.

A vertical weave of fingers comes up and across, and an illusion of the building, in small render floating in the air, starts to form. Things fill in across it like a Harry Potter Marauder's map, little images of people here and there, tagged then with arcane lettering in a language Natasha likely hasn't seen before outside of magical situations. He builds a multi-layer map for himself, in green and blue transparency. It's a beautiful use of magic to look at, shimmering and moving, very different from a hologram of the same space. This has /feeling/ in it, a perception of what is, not a 'scan' from a machine.

"Just a snapshot. Though I'd like to set a teleport foci here. Perhaps in Thor's quarters," Loki smoothly mentions.

Loki's dressed to blend in on the street, black and a deep wine red to the shirt under his tailored black jacket. He is wearing one of his golden forehead pieces, each horn only an inch long or so, as if to be both playful, but also willing to clearly denote who he is if anyone happened to be confused when they saw him.
Clea Clea's like one of the brides from Dracula. She just floats around wearing long dresses at times and scaring people. The poor maid has HAD IT with her. She had apologized and decided that maybe it wasn't a good idea to float, but that is forgotten on when she sees Natasha and a familiar Asgardian heading towards the recreation room. She decides to float that way and see what is going on.

"I'm a full time resident for now at least.." Clea states as the door closes behind her and her feet make no noise. "I see someone finally got back to you, did any of the coconuts with the bar perish?" she asks the Trickster.
Natasha Romanova Ah, Clea. Someone that if not quite on Loki's level then at least can act as a check on him. Or at least has a unique enough frame of reference being half Faltine to be able to pique his interest to keep himself distracted. And Natasha goes to look over at Loki for just a few moments.

"I'll leave the arrangemetns between yourself and THor. I presume you know enough to not pop out and go 'Surprise' from personal experience. I do think that he's has a.. Difficult time as of late." Thor is a friend and a comrade, but to her it seems very much like he's in mourning for Jane. Whom is dead adn gone without even having left a body for them to put to peace.

And Natasha is at least impressed by the illusion. Even with magic, it's excellent work - enough to she has to admit fool even herself.
Loki "Were I interested in torturing my brother, I don't need a foci point in a mansion room to do that," Loki smoothly says, as if a little bit insulted at the suggestion he'd use it for THAT. ...That's more of a side effect, at most. "It's safe to 'presume' that my relationship goes back a very long time." He's being a little snippy about Natasha giving him any observation about Thor.

But Loki is often a pricklepuss, so this isn't any dangerous level, either.

Loki slides an otherwise serene emerald look sideways to Clea. "Hardly, they'll outlive this mansion," he smirks of the coconut creatures. "If you can count them as alive in general, which is the more misleading part of it." 'Alive' is inaccurate!

Loki is still playing with his illusion, adding some more props to it flowing outwards from the tour he's had so far.

Loki seems to shift in mood, as if making the illusion greatly pleased him, and he seems to soften and turn into a warmer, pleasant mode. It's charismatic, and probably weird to watch -- kind of like watching a cult leader shift from harsh to approachable. Eerie, maybe.

"What a fun recreation room. What activities do you each favor here?" Loki asks, conversational, pleasant.
Clea Clea dips her head to Natasha, "Nat, good to see you." she tells the redhead. Then she watches the other two for a moment. Loki's information about the coconuts makes her smile, "Excellent. I have a joke I want to play on someone with one." she tells him with a glint of mischief in her violet eyes.

"I'm becoming a fan of darts. Clint is teaching me how to play. He was showing me a few things he used to do before he was an Avenger." she states to that. "What do you think of the mansion so far?" she asks the mercurial Asgardian.
Natasha Romanova Natasha Romanova would glance over at Clea, "Good to have you with us. I do hoep that you're enjoying your time here at the Mansion and transitioning here well. You've done well with Clint." That would get an actual smile sent the way of Clea. That'sa very rare thing from Natasha. And appreciatve that was sent her way.

"Some of the things are competitive. Most aren't at our level." Video games can be hacked, poker night is limited when everyone has enhanced senses and reality warping abiltiies, and at least one member of the team was with the circus.

"I enjoy reading and watching some Russian documentaries. They tend not to be as much social activities however. Listening to music is quite popular. There is no real agreement on movies." Which the discussion of deciding what to watch probbly causes more damage than Hulk going on a rampage.
Loki "I expected some world-ending weapons laying out all over the couches. A bit disappointed, really. Seems to be more in line with having an ice cream and socializing," Loki teases in answer, with a gesture overall at the mansion. While he was talking, his illusion festered with huge monsters: Cthulu tentacles on the couches, bats in the attic, and so forth. But as he describes the ice cream, it melts back into 'reality'.

"Well, you have my blessing to use them however suits your joke -- unless it makes /me/ look bad. I've got enough of a reputation problem here already," Loki observes with apparent honest displeasure. "And if there's going to be a prank that causes more extreme hatred, I at least want to get to cause it." Loki wrinkles his nose in play, but there's no venom in the smile. He's left the snark out, for the moment.

"Just play 'The Mask' on loop. Humans love Jim Carrey," Loki advises, teasing in deadpan.
Clea "I was just wandering for a bit and saw the two of you. Figured I'd at least say hello." Clea tells Natasha with a smile to that. "Clint's been a great help with helping with getting me in touch with more human things...like movies." she chuckles. "He's good to spend time with." she nods to that.

"Yeah, it's hard to do competitive when everyone can overturn most things." she agrees. Then she looks to Loki and there is a chuckle, "Honestly a few of us are considered world ending weapons and they let us out sometimes." she muses to that. "We could see about bats in the attic though. I think it might be a nice touch." she points out.

"No, I don't want to hurt or hinder your chance here. Clint didn't believe me about the coconuts so I was going to sneak one into his room." she tells him. "I've also mentioned to a few others that everyone deserves a bit of a second chance, so I am hoping that they will allow you to try to show that." she smiles to him.

"Who is Jim Carrey?" she stage whispers to Natasha.
Natasha Romanova Natasha Romanova would smile, "Good. I'm glad that you're enjoying the time you're spending with Clint." WHich can be a very,v ery acquired habit, as far as Natasha would rather willingly voice her opinion on if so much as the faintest opportunity came up. "Most things turn competitive regardless of what they are." THe joys of livinga mongst a large group of alpha males.

"And there's not often overlap as far as entertainment. So social gatherings are rather random when they do occur if there's not something specific planned. There are at least occasional team events." For which attendance is considered mandatory if only so Steve doesn't look sniffly at no one liking the idea.
Loki "Or a nineth chance," Loki says serenely to Clea's comment about chances. He doesn't clarify if he's on his nineth chance or not. Perhaps with the Avengers he's still on number two.

"Like a cat," he adds, as if the comparison pleased him.

"Do definitely use my items to bother Clint. Sure." Clint loathes Loki, as far as Loki knows. And that's just fine. Adds spice.

"Competitive, of course. Heroes and winning the day! Perhaps you have simply lacked the experience to generate quality cooperative activities," Loki observes, while also looking at the expensive furniture. "It seems like many heroes do fracture if there isn't a common, clear enemy."

"Oh, that looks an enjoyable couch." Suddenly, the illusion drops away, and Loki shapeshifts. Instantly, a swift, casual little use of potent shifting magic -- into a raven-black colored cat. He invites himself to sit on the couch and recline; deep emerald eyes lid halfway. It seems the tour is taking a break.
Clea "He made a joke about being old the other night. I told him he wasn't the oldest in the room." Clea muses to that. "I'm not going to bug him too much." she points out after that.

"Which reminds me, I need to get over to Greenwich for a lunch meeting and to look at an apartment." she states to that. Then she watches Loki shift into a cat and there is a bit of a smile, "Well, he's going to scare the heck out of someone." she muses to that. Then she is floating off to the door to head out, "You two have a good time." she tells them as she floats on out.
Natasha Romanova Natasha Romanova would glance down at Loki, "Why, ar eyou offering then? Or to try and conduct some sort of social activity as a way to meet hte others?" Yes, that's just asking for something bad to happen as a result of it. Looking down as Loki would shrink down over to the form of a small cat. Oh no, now they're going to have to lookout and hope that poor Sabrina or Hermoine doesn't risk falling into the mix.

"I'm glad that you find it comfortable. By all means do feel free to take it as your perch. If you would like you can take it with you and see if anyone notices it's abscence." with how often things are smashed, that's rather likely. She gives a quick nod over to the departing Clea. "Take care."
Loki "'Heck'? If you' regoing to swear, go for the gold," Loki teases Clea's use of 'heck'. And yes.... talking cat. Sort of. His mouth doesn't actually move, so it's a sort of disembodied voice-over, like some version of a kid's movie before they bothered to animate mouths.

"Offer? We'll see," chuckles the cat. He stretches out more. "Consider your tour complete," Loki comments, to Natasha. "I'm capable of behaving for a time, there won't be much to supervise for a time... I'm going to do a little astral 'homework' for a little bit. I presume I can sit here while I do it."

With that, Loki-cat appears to nap, while his magic extends out and he checks in on some other illusions and tasks ...
