Owner Pose
Emma Frost In the gardens, tended to by Ororo and various students, there was a wide breadth of things growing. And of course out over in the midst of the sun, with various benches spread about in the direct sunbeams. Towards one of them goes Emma Frsot, book in hand.
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith prowled through the vegetation, her small, black frame blending in well with the thick brush around her. She slowly crept toward her prey, an unsuspecting Emma who was settling comfortably on one of the benches. She waited until the woman was nearly seated before leaping forward to crash onto the back of her neck with soft, fluffy ferocity. The only uncomfortable thing about the tiny tackle were those annoyingly sharp claws that gave her enough grip to crawl onto her shoulder in the same sort of perch as a pirate's parrot.
Emma Frost Glancing over her shoulder, Emma Frost turns to see the small little one. "Hello there Sharon. I do hope that you're enjoying yourself." There's a whiff over in the gardens - a bit of catnip, if Sharon's particularly prone to such explorations. "have you been relaxing lately?"
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith might have already gotten ahold of the pleasant smelling plant. She seemed restless and excited as she crawled over Emma's neck, sliding from one shoulder to the other while dragging her backside and tail along the back of her head. She then leered close, her nose only millimeters from Emma's as she stared at her with bright, glowing yellow eyes.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would let Sharon settle down and stare at her, "Why, you do seem quite relaxed and focused. Do tell me dear, is everything all right or do you find yourself over distracted?" She would inquire while reaching up to start to scritch
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith 's nose grew broader and more pink, and her eyes shifted to a familiar blue as Sharon grew heavy, settling into a seat on Emma's lap. Admittedly, human ears were a bit more awkward to scratch than cat ears, but Sharon wasn't making any moves to swat away the attention. "I've been... exploring" she stated cryptically.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would let Catseye settle in, going to casually stroke her behind the ears. "I see. And what have you found then over in your wanderings? Something out of the ordinary I take it by how far you've been? Are there unentered annexes of the Mansion? Or anywhere exotic that you've come upon?"
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith left a long few moments of silence as she determined which of her discoveries to tell. "A dress" she stated before looking down. Well... she wasn't wearing it right that moment, but it was hard to find outfits that fit the same on the small figure of a four legged cat as it would on a two legged human. "A comfortable house, a nice old lady, creamy doughnuts." she listed randomly as she took up space on Emma's lap, leaving little to no room for a book as the pale human did a good job of being in the way.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would muse, "Why, it sounds like you have been busy. And how many of those came from the old woman? Did she enjoy your companionship or were you sneaking around and taking things to show how stealthy you could be?" She would query idly while rubbing
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith shrugs softly "I was just going to steal a dress so I could walk downtown, but she found me and fed me, so I stayed for a few days." she explained. "She did have quite a lot to say, but it was all very boring" she assured her. "Still, sometimes it is nice to listen." Sharon decided. "What are you doing?" she asked curiously.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would ah, "It sounds like you had an interesting time. So what do you plan to do while you're in town then? I suppose if you're going htere you should probably take some money wtih you just as people will mind if you borrow. And I've been.. Well. Busy but well."
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith wrinkles her nose. "Yes... but I can usually find some" she stated, though the prospect of Catseye 'finding' money was probably akin to thievery. Oh well. People shouldn't leave loose cash laying around around cats. "I don't know. I might go to the lake and catch a bird, or sit in on a class or two." she speculated. Do you swim?"
Emma Frost Emma Frost would lean back over, "Yes, I do. I would have thought that you didn't like the water. I'm glad to be surprised there." She would muse lightly while going to keep on scratching. "So have you had any luck catching things lately? And if you get a dress to wear you have to make sure not to ruin it."
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith snorted. "Maybe they should make better dresses." she critiqued the idea of ruining a dress as being the dress' fault. "Water is nice when it is hot, and it is hot" she stated like the most obvious weatherman to ever have given a prediction. She might have kept pressing the swimming idea, but was instead very content to lean and relax against Emma instead.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would mm, "I suppose. It has been rather hot lately. So that makes sense. So how much have youb een swimming? And have you done well with catching snacks while you're out? Or are they doing better lately?"
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith shook her head "Not yet today" she stated. She could have reminisced about the last time she'd gone out to swim, but tended to take things day by day, not keeping to a usual schedule, or even taking into account which days were which. "Sometimes... it is the chase that is fun" she states with a light smile. This was probably a good thing, as it didn't mean doom for the local wildlife population around the school grounds.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would consider, "I see. So have you thought about finding other things to chase then? I'm sure that there are a lot of other things around the Mansion grounds and the wilderness you could go after. Though I suppose most of them are rather big.."
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith lifted her nose. "I can be big" she stated, her head growing nearly to the size of a panther, but before she entirely crushed Emma, sank to a more humanoid form, but with soft black fur instead of pale skin. "I could chase you" she proposed in light speculation.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would shake her head, "But Iw ouldn't be a challenge at all dear. You could catch me easily. You already have me caught now after all. So where's the fun in doing it again when you've already achieved it?"
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith poked Emma on the nose with the soft pad of her index finger. "Sometimes the chase is what is fun" she parroted again. She stared back at Emma with her alien yellow eyes, narrowing them in light inspection before relaxing on her lap to look around. "Are you doing business things?" she asked, lazily associating the woman with 'business stuff'
Emma Frost Emma Frost would continue to scritch back over and lean in, "No, I was just doing some reading. I came out here to relax in the sun. The reading wasn't important, since I know I have a companion." Guessing if she were doing business or engaged in her book, that Sharonw ould knock it over.
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith tilts her head, taking up most of Emma's vision. "Am I bothering you?" she asked. She was certainly trying her best, taking up Emma's personal space. It was hard to say if she even said 'yes' that she'd change what she was doing or not.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would shake her head over at Sharon, "Oh, no, not at all. you're rather comfortable and fuzzy to have with me dear. So you're a pleasure to have around. Thank you, I do appreciate your company." Continuing wiht the scritching.
Sharon Smith Sharon Smith shifted to sit across Emma's lap, her legs stretching over the bench as she leaned against her. "I don't have to be fuzzy" she mused as she momentarily lost her fur. She sneered at denying Emma of her fluffiness.
