Priscilla Camilleri Priscilla had been working from home today. She'd just not felt like going into the office today so she had called in and made sure that all of her in person meetings were rescheduled or moved to virtual. That left her with time to do a few things around the apartment and to put some dinner on for the evening.

She didn't want Henry to have to live off take out when she was over working. She'd sent the man a text to let him know that she was at home and not to be alarmed if he arrived and someone was there.
Henry McCoy The return text was happy. 'I could identify you by scent, Pris.' He assures, finishing up what he'd been working on at the school, before starting his commute back to the condo. It took a while, but he made good time.

Stepping into the home, he sets his bag down near the door. "How was work today, Pris?" He calls out to open space. A deep inhalation, and he looks over to the kitchen. "Something smells heavenly."
Priscilla Camilleri There had been a chuckle at the return text, but she'd let him continue with his day before she got all distracting. The raven haired woman had closed out of most of her meetings and was mainly just writing papers to be submitted before going to the testers. Work was at least done.

When she hears Henry's voice though there is a smile that lights up her face and she hurries over to lean over the railing to the lower part of the condo, "Welcome home, handsome." she greets him. "And I figured beef roast wouldn't get too much of an argument for dinner." she tells him as she moves to head down the stairs. "How was your day?" she asks him.
Henry McCoy He hears her coming down the stairs, turning to look at her with a happy smile. "No argument from me - though I will ask if there's anything I can help with?" Henry offers her, as she steps nearer. Once in reach, he pulls her into a gentle embrace, and kiss.

"The day was good. Plenty of work to keep me busy, keep my mind active." He admits. "No lolling about today." A chuckle from the Beast. "Those are the days I enjoy - where I keep my mind whirring."
Priscilla Camilleri "You can help me pick drinks to go with dinner and perhaps let me know what your preference on dessert is?" Priscilla offers to him as she crosses over to him. "Dishes and everything else are caught up." she adds with a smile. She gladly accepts the hug and gives him a warm squeeze and a kiss in return.

"Keeping yourself busy at work is a good thing. Leads to not getting dinged about reports being late." she teases him gently. "And speaking of work and things, did you have plans to maybe take your birthday off this year?" she asks him curiously.
Henry McCoy Henry nods. "How about a dark red for the wine?" He suggests, moving over to where such things are stored. "Dessert, that seems a bit of a loaded question. For sweets, perhaps beignets if those are possible?" He thinks. "I can help with those, if needed." The man muses.

"You've been busy, if all the chores are done and you've done a full day of work atop of it. And made dinner?" A smirk. "I am thankful for what you've done, love." The man offers over, warmly. "I hadn't actually thought of my birthday - but perhaps?"
