Illyana Rasputina     Brooklyn bordering on the edges of Bushwick is a mix of residences and businesses shut for the day, and bumping clubs and restaurants. Relatively good weather encourages an after-dinner walk or an aperitif. Spiders and fake webbing cloud windows. Local artists paint several storefront displays with ofrenda masks or cheerfully grinning skulls clutching whatever the business deals in in their skeletal digits. Paint brush, pipe, hamburger, computer mouse. Orange lights twinkle in loose dips and tight whirls. Hallowe'en is in the air.

Graffiti licked walls and cars parked tight to the curbs make for a narrow gauntlet to run. Wykoff Street becomes a cacophony of honking horns as a limo-bus pulls out and double-parks. The white vehicle with big tinted windows ignores the angry beeps. Doors yawn open and wait for guests to offload or unload and head into the House of Yes. Funky LEDs flash on the ice warehouse turned into a killer club, advertising some kind of special event for 'extra-special people'. Sunday is "Empowerment Night" blurts another poster, currently being torn down by a pair of angry men in neat shirts under their black coats.

No one in line for the House of Yes seems to care, eager to get in. That includes a couple folks trotting off that limo, led by a grinning, tanned man in a killer pair of jeans that probably cost upwards of a family of four's monthly salary.
Mary Jane Watson It's not normally the side of town that she's on, but it's coming towards the holidays and no one is really paying attention to her. That means that hse's getting to do something a little out of hand for her normal reality. In this case, Mary Jane is wearing a large, oversized t-shirt over her body that hangs down over like a tent, along with a pair of sweats and boots. A large, oversized sword is over her back, along with a duffel bag. SHe's jogging along in a casual state, and there's a jingle from her as she goes along that sounds rather.. Metallic in nature if one were close enough.

The club has her attention, even as she goes to head in that direction. She's not a mutant, but she's hoping they won't mind the token human ally for the evening to come and have some fun - and lend a hand.

As she comes towards the men that are making a scene, she goes to speak quietly, "This is a place of peace and happiness. Stop what you're doing or be stopped." Her tone is a threat.
