Wally West "HAH! Too slow!"

*FWOOSH!*

"C'mon, why not just mail me the bullet, I got work to do!"

*FWOOOOOOSH!*

The sounds of Wally West's taunts to the hard light construct enemies echo just outside of the structure itself. Upon further inspection, Wally was suited up!

Dressed in a tight suit - perfection for dealing with extreme kinetic force by way of movement and fitted to have as little weight as possible - colored red with a silver 'Flash' emblem on his chest and silver lightning bolt-accents next to the ears. As he runs, it's truly a miracle if anyone can keep track of him, a blur of movement flanked by random bolts of blue electricity sparking out when he runs.

When he comes to a sudden stop, a blast of electricity leaves his hands and five BattleBots (TM) are destroyed!

"Phew! You guys are really making me sweat. Gotta hand it to Vic, he keeps making you guys tougher." He zooms away again, this time, two more fall apart as if all their screws and magnetic locks had been removed.

"Thats two more..." All in all, at least he's not doing his Amazon-style delivery service atm.
Caitlin Fairchild A large passenger sedan flies past Wally's ear and takes out three more of the spectral antagonists. Caitlin brushes notional dirt from her hands and straightens up a little, walking up and past Wally's spot in the danger room floor. "Yeah we had to tune everything up after Kara arrived," Caitlin reminds Wally. "She tends to be a lot harder on the equipment than me and Donna." She's in knee-length green leggings and a sleeveless athletic top, more intended to be functional than flattering. "I don't think anyone's passed Danger Level X lately, if you want a real workout."

Caitlin flashes a grin at Wally and breaks into shambling jog that quickly becomes a juggernaut charge, colliding hard with three of the digital foes and sweeping them up in a sweeping hug. Cait pinches two of them in half when she brings her elbows together and the third one gets dismembered with a palm around the top and base of the chassis support column, and discards the components in a small pile near her feet.
Wally West It's like slow motion. Wally watches as the simulated passenger Sedan flies right past his ear, his head turning to track it as it sails through the air. Once he allows his focus to pass, he witnesses the vehicle smash through three more of those guys!

"Wow-" Wally turns his head to see Caitlin Fairchild coming to lend a hand and for a moment, he just stares as she walks past him. Was it her attire? Was it what they both knew about Walky's feelings? Ir just genuinely impressed she got that car *that* close to his gray matter? Either way, he takes a moment to slap himself in the face real quick to 'wake up'.

"Don't tease me, Cait, you know I think you and me can take on anyone." Wally suddenly speeds ahead, shoulder checking a machine hard enough to send it towards a second machine, exploding on impact!

"Yo DR! Danger Room level set: X. Override code 'WW-B05!'"

"Acknowledged." Echoes an overriding voice as the machines in front of Caitlin start to magnetically come together right in front of her, proving to be a gigantic fusion of the three she bear hugged, opening its mouth to reveal what looks like a grinder to chew her up!

"NOW it's a party!" As so many more rise up from defeat, Wally crouches low and smirks at Cait from over his shoulders "Try to keep up!"
Caitlin Fairchild Caitlin's eyes widen in surprise at Wally's swaggering reaction to her teasing. "Wait, Wally, I didn't--!" She is cut off by the Danger Room rearranging itself for the high-threat scenario, eyes going wide in alarm. The 'X Level' setting disables many of the default safety lockouts and turns the scenarios into harrowing brawls that push the team to their physical and mental breaking points. There's a reason only the OG crew has override codes; it's just too dangerous to let the younger Titans disable the safety protocols trying to 'prove' themselves.

There's nothing wrong with her reflexes though, so when the metal monstrosity rears up Caitlin is ready for it. She quick-steps forward and jams the machine up to keep it from maneuvering. With fingers clutching the chassis she starts driving knee strikes with enough force to dent the metal. It looks like it is going pretty well for a moment-- until the machine gets rebalanced, picks Caitlin off the ground, and slams her into the pavement several times like a flail. The third hit leaves her groaning in a depression of broken concrete, fumbling her way backwards to safety while trying to unscramble her mental eggs from the repeated assault.

"Uh... that actually hurt," she admits with a slightly feeble tone.
Wally West ohhhh that's bad!

"Cait!" Wally ZOOMS over to Cait, checking her briefly as she tries to stabilize. "You okay?" He looks at the mechanical beast as instinct takes over and his eyes start to spark with living lightning, the Speed Force channeling through his veins as he vanished. Air gets tighter, wind picking up enough that it might be hard at first to stay on the ground.

The machine approaches Caitlin, fist raised, and Wally appears right in front of it with a punch right to the head.

...at Mach 7.

*BOOOOOOOM!*

Wally's fist rockets tge machine backwards until it hits a simulated piece of cover and it's knocked right on its ass. Wally's glove was completely torn, his knuckles bruised already. How many times did he strike it?

He stands in front of Cait, tall and proud. "I can stop this, Cait. I'm sorry you got hurt, I didn't think.." He sighs. "I didn't think again. I keep getting you hurt." He looks up. "DR, Override Code WW-B05. Shut it down." And as quickly as it came up, the enemies freeze as if frozen in time, before disintegrating into pixels.

Wally crouches down to pick Caitlin up. "Come on, I'll get you to medical." And in a blink, they've left the room. With Wally feeling far more guilty than usual.
