Shredder     It was bound to happen. It turns out that there are a lot of students who are part of the Immortal Dragon Dojo. Saki himself is often not present, but another sensei, Tatsu, is. There are some who are hotheads, some that are lonely, some who are insecure. A lot of the types that you'd normally see at a dojo anyway, looking for something to center themselves, and a few in the lower classes that are just looking to be cool, they don't seem to be invited to the more serious classes.

Edmund Tell, however, is one who is a bit more advanced. Not a mutant like Bunny or like Damian's alter-ego, but a regular kid who seems to have no home that he's talked about at any time. Others have asked about his family, he just says 'he has a big one.'

But Edmund has seemed to notice Will, and so soon enough, he asked him. "Hey, I'm gonna go hang out with some friends. If you don't got nuthin', you can join. We hang out up by the old power plant."
Damian Wayne Will had made sure to make that first meeting that Saki insisted he made. After that, he shows up on occassion to train. When asked about it, he's busy with other things. Ain't easy living alone and he's got to hold down a warehouse job among other things.

When Edmund approached him after he was done with some of his daily training, he glanced up at the invitation. "Sure. Ain't got anythin' happening at the moment." he drawled.

With that, he headed towards the location provided to him, hands tucked in his pockets. He's not sure what to expect. But he's been to the underground skatepark in Brooklyn. If it's anything like that, he'll be settled on just relax and appreciate youth at work.
Shredder     Edmund is outside a broken part of the fence when Will gets there, the red-headed teen giving one of those inverted nods. "Yo," he says. "We can go in the front, but usually during the day everybody just goes in through here." He slides down under the repeatedly pulled black chain link, and down the embankment. He stuffs his hands in his second hand blue and black windbreaker, and looks over his shoulder. "So, you're a mutant, I don't figure you gotta be told, but anyway, no starin' at anyone. There's some wild looking characters, but it don't matter here. Mutant, human, whatever, everybody is the same here," he says, making his way to one of the side doors.
Damian Wayne "I get 'nuff stares, I ain't invitin' a fight." Will responds easily as he follows Edmund. "Why not the front?" he asks curiously, however. "Don't want to have the bad look of freaks entering their place?"

He easily slides down the embankment, a little nop at the end in order to settle himself back into place. He keeps his arms down his side, a casual slouch as he walks along.
Shredder     Edmund gives a sly grin. "Don't want to have anyone seen entering the place," he answers, placing his hand on the door. It has no knob, an exit only door. "This place doesn't exist, got it? It's not here, you never saw it. You no nothing about it." He forms a fist, does a specific rhythm with a kick to the base on the door at the end. Apparently that's the secret knock, because from the other side, the door opens. The figure standing there is massive. Not unlike a wolf, elongated teeth and snout with crimson fur. Terrifying by all regards. He looks down at Edmund.

"Friend?" he asks, his voice comparably childish, though rough and low, it's hardly given with any attempt to be intimidating.

"Hey Rahzar, yeah, friend. This is Will," he says. "He's a friend, too." Edmund glances toward Will. "Let'm smell you," he says. "Rahzar is still a kid, so be nice."
Damian Wayne Will takes in the knock, commiting it to memory quickly. A nod of his head acknowledges. So this isn't a place with a public facade, he realizes. And when the door opens, it reveals the huge, wolf like mutanimal. Most people would call him a monstrosity, a beast.

Will's eyes go wide and he takes a half step back. It's not fear. It's something else. Because after holding out his hands to Rahzar to allowed to be sniffed, if there's a positive response...

Little known facts about Damian Wayne. He loves animals. He loves animals more than most people. He has a Dragon Bat that is easily the same size is not larger than Rahzar. It's not fear, instead, after the sniff, Will steps into the creature and starts scruffing the fur on his temples just beneath his ears. "You're the best, yes you are!" he says brightly, perhaps the most animated he's been since he came here. "Who's the best guard, you are!"
Shredder     The eight foot wolf sniffs at Damian, and smiles broadly. "I like new friend!" he says, taking the scruff on his fur and enveloping him in a large furry bear hug. Rahzar is VERY strong. Strong enough that there's surely no ordinary human that could come close to his physical strength. His hug is tight, and he holds it for several seconds.

"That's a good hug, Rahzar," Edmund interjects. "Can we go past now?"

"Yes! Yes friends go past." He lets go of Damian, and gives a toothy smile. "Bye friend!" he says, waving even though he is still right next to him.

Edmund leads down the hallway, which has thumping of music which can be heard. "There's another one who is posted there sometimes as well, Tokka," he says. "Big turtle. Be careful hugging him he's kinds spikey," Edmund comments. "They would've been dissected anywhere else, so we keep them safe here. You ready for this?" he says, reaching the door at the other end of the hall.

He opens the door, revealing a teenage delinquent's playground. Large TVs are set up in one corner, a variety of games being played by some of the youths. Basketball courts are in another section. A full skate park in yet another section. One wall has a burly guy who seems to be running a bar. Mutants and humans alike seem to be speckled throughout. Laughter, play, and it seems that there is very little regulation to be had anywhere in sight.
Damian Wayne Will is sure he can feel several of his ribs and verterbrae pop - like going to a large, furry chiropractor. There's another scruff at his ears and a small wheeze of breath. "No crushin' new friends." he manages, before he gets set down.

He needs a few breaths to recover, but as soon as he's done, he pats Rahzar's side. "I'll visit later!" he promises. "Bye, friend!"

As they head down the hallway, Edmund brings up the spiky turtle, and Will's eyes go wide. Not just at that fact, but more... he knows a few mutant turtles. He wonders where they've been. Or if... something to research later. "I like animals." he offers lamely. "I tried to bring home a puppy once, my dad was a complete ass about it."

They open the door, and Will steps in. Whatever he expected, this was not it. "Dude, this was totally not in the brochure." he breaths with a small chuckle. "I feel like. Wow, this is cool." Because in truth, Damian /is/ caught off-guard and taking a moment to get back to his center. This is, yes, the best way to recurit youth into the Foot Clan.
Shredder     "Anything you wanna do here? You do it," Edmund says. "Just don't be a jerk to anyone else, or you'll find out how NOT cuddly Rahzar can be. He's really protective. You need a place to crash? There's rooms right down that way," he points to a set of double doors. "You wanna train? Down that hallway," he points to the opposite side, another set of doors. "But, there's some places off sides, y'know? All that stuff you're learning right now, it's like the beginner courses to what comes next if you really wanna be part of this. This place might look like it ain't much, but it's gonna change the way people think about mutants, humans, wealth, everything."
Damian Wayne Will nods his head. "Naw, I got a place to lay my head at the moment." he admits, while still taking it all in. When Edmund points out the area where the real training takes place, there's a lift of his head and then a shake. "Don't know if I'm there yet, man." comes the honest opnion.

"For now, I think I'll grab a soda, a slice and just kinda hang out, if that's cool?"
Shredder     "Yeah man," Edmund says, "Take it at your pace. Nobody's rushin' ya. Hang out, have a good time. Meet some new faces." He gives a pat on the back. "But make sure you don't let it cause you to miss a practice, especially if Master Oroku is teaching that one."
