Kaine Parker China Town. It's familiarity to Blood Spider. He's still getting used t recent decisions. Atop of one of the rooftops is a trio looking to commit a little B and E. That's when Blood Spider leaps down from his perch. "Can only do that if you actually have keys," his voice rolls forward and he's perched on the building's ledge. Spider-Senses scream at him.

That's when the trio turn. All of them bearing with MP-5k's. They're sub machine guns and each come with suppressors. All of them open fire. The suppressors quiet the loud barks of guns going off. Ambush.

Blood Spider is up in the air avoiding some of the bullets. However, this trio isn't worried about collateral damage. Bullets bite through other places around them.

This is what will spark more attention. People can be injured, other people with ambition, ammo and knowledge of underworld contracts, can be privy to this. Blood Spider ducks behind an entry point on a nearby building rooftop. Things are gong to get worse before they get better.

"I wanted this good guy life," Blood's voice trails as he tries to assess the situation. Sadly, the longer he waits the worse this will get. Maybe if he's lucky someone friendly will be n the area, but Spiders aren't known for luck.
Kitkat Chinatown has its upsides and downsides, but for Kitkat, it's just another strange place she doesn't fully understand. But what she does understand is, that people there don't look as strange at humans as they do at her real shape. So, she opted to forgo her superhuman power for the appearance of a white redhead in pretty bog standard clothes. She did however decide to lug around a guitar hard case, though it was kind of extra long and was plastered with stickers of Heavy Metal as she wanders along on the ground between the buildings and their neon signs.

The sudden explosions of firearms above echos distorted down to the ground floor, then bullets rain into the walls above, shaking dust into the crowd. People dart away, but Kitkat? Kitkat starts to grin, dropping the guitar case with a smack to stand. Popping the locks, she reached into it, touching the gem decorated bracelet. She starts to float for a few moments, glow up and appears for a few moments to be made from solid light, her figure changing. Ears turn up into rounded cat ones, a tail forms and clothes take an entirely differnt style of leather top and skirt while the falling guitar case reveals a proper greatsword. Only then color returns in a flash to the figure, leaving the feline humanoid in calico pattern with a sharp, toothy grin.

One hand holding the sword, the claws make it possigle for her to make her way up several yards before she changes to the other wall and pretty much makes her way up to the rooftops with the gleaming steel in hand, roaring as she comes down on the roof with the sword cleaving through the air and one of the guys with a machine pistol, cleanly talking off the limbs holding onto it. Or as cleanly as a Zweihander can be, because it leaves the bones splintered and shattered on the way.
Kaine Parker Blood Spider is unaware of Kitkat at the bottom. The woman doesn't trigger off any spider-senses. So his focus is on the gunmen. He's peeking out here, and there, trying to line up a shot. Each time he does, a series of muffled barks cme from a gun. They have him pinned for the moment.

His plan is simple, waiting for them to go closer then go up. Hit them while he's middair. It's risky, but he might catch them on the surprise.

That's when Kitkat shows up. He barely has time to take in her details when she's moving. What he sees is cat ears, a big sword and not much else.

The gunman screams as the blade slices clean through flesh, muscle and bone. Blood flows frm the wound and the man is screaming like he just got murdered.

This is what alarms the people. They may not be able to see the fght, but they know something bad is happening.

To those on the rooftop they can smell a combination of gun smoke and blood. A cocktail of violence that Blood Spider is very familiar with. It barely registers anymore.

The other gunmen turn to bare down on Kitkat and that's when Spider moves. One person sees their trigger hand get webbed. As they turn One hits the chest. Quick "THWIP!" "THWIP!" motions meant to slow down and restrain.

"You're an angel, I don't care what the world says," and he jumps over his target hitting him with more weblines. Just in case "stumpy"gets webbed in place. He's healingand screaming, s it's easy to keep the legs there thanks to webbing.

"Don't kill them," Blood adds before landing. Although he's not exactly stopping limb removal.

It just leaves one person along with Ktkat. A man in smple dark blue turtle neck, black pants. Something that's meant to look natural, allow him to blend into crowds and shadows. Nondescript fr either ocassion.

He'll aim and try unloading a whole clip into Kitkat. To him she's the threat he can focus on before making an escape.
Kitkat As the gunmen gets gun-disabled, Kitkat doesn'T really stop, the heavy blade moving up to give one of them another heavy whack, the blade cutting into the forestock with the force of a moving car and practically ripping it out of the hands, even as the web was there. It just hurt a lot, the heavy object flying towards the Turtleneck.

As she was engaged so closely with the second, the telltale click of the trigger made the ears swivel and with the speed of nigh lightning, she stepped behind the de-weaponed guy, grabbing at the neck from behind to use him as a shield while subsonic bullets sprayed at her.

"These things are damned dangerous, don't you know that?" she yells at the last gunmen. At least she does follow along and doesn't kill... herself. It was the other criminal that did for the last.

"Can't help with them killing each other!" she countered to Blood Spider, dropping the one as the gun clicked empty.
Kaine Parker Blood Spider is a little taken back by Kitkat's future actions. Something about t catches him off guard. It doesn't shock him, but usually those that wear costumes don't do things like that. He watches Kitkat move and even use someone as a bullet sponge. Round after round flies into the man.

Each round sounding like a strike against a bag of raw meet. "PLLT" "PLLT" "PLLT" round after round goes into the body until the man's gone. The one with the gun is out of bullets.

"I said 'No killing.' We're above that. Not much difference if we do the killing. Trust me," Blood Spider says as Kitkat faces the last gunman for the moment.

"I can't stop her. You've got a friend that's dead. One's dying and I can't stop her," Blood begins.

"I just want to be left alone. Let me do my thing. You know where I've been, what I've done, and now I want to die with a clear conscience. Give me that and you'll live longer than me," he says knowing this one has few options.

"Let him off the hook. I need him alive to spread the word," Blood says to Kitkat and he'll wait to see what happens next.

"You'll never be free," the gentleman says in Mandarin and runs. He's off to ether lick his wounds, warn people or both.

"Are you going to stop him. I'm not. He's worth more to me as a corkboad," but Blood Spider isn't going to stop Kitkat if she has other plans.
Kitkat Shrugging as she lets the guy fall, Kitkat stretches her shoulders as she moves over, shaking her head. "Who said I will kill you? I did not kill that guy. YOU did. Why should I hunt you down for that?" she yells after the fleeing one, spitting onto the ground.

"Like I said, I didn't kill him. That running one did." Kitkat said as she reached for the dead one's belt, unlooping it and tying it around one of the armsumps of the other and then pulling taunt, repeating that with the very belt of the wounded. Turniquet, trying to at least save him.

"You think I should have let him kill me? I might be fast, but I am not fast enough to do both take the one guy's gun away and dodge the other one's fire at the same time."
Kaine Parker "Scemantics," Blood Spider disagrees. However, his stance isn't like a moral debate. There's no real zeel. To him this just a debate as to what's better hamburgers or hot dogs. There's not really a wrong answer in the end, but he's choosing not to kill. He can see her point, but doesn't personally agree with it.

"No. I don't. Just saying there's a difference, Angel. Thank you for the help," he knows if she hadn't shown up things could have been bad fr him. So, he's not going to split hairs to much longer. Kitkat gave hm more time, for that, he's grateful.
Kitkat Kitkat chuffs as she makes sure those stumps of forearms stop bleeding by tying them off quite well, then eying the black clad guy twice over. "You got a place where to dro the guy? I got no use for him. But I ain't no Angel. Those live far far away from the Land Within. At least as much as I was told."

Inhaling some, she picks up the heavy sword effortlessly, shouldering it.
Kaine Parker "The corkboard will tell others. He can either make sure this guy gets out or takes the fall," Blood says honestly on that one. "The web will hld him for two to three hours. Police would be useless to get him out wthout a lot of patience."

His gaze goes toward Kitkat hoisting that monster of a sword. "Remind me to stay on your good side," he can only imagine the power ths woman holds. It's impressive and a little intimidating.

"You were an angel for about a minute, agree to disagree there?" he won't think she's an angel twenty four-seven, but t him that minute is a Godsend.

"Where do you come from? You didn't set off my senses," he thinks that the magic maybe hides her from his senses.
Kitkat Kitkat says, "Maybe, but Cat People aren't angels. Those live in Heaven or so I told, and that's not the Land Within, where I come from. But this Outworld is a lot of adventure!" Kitkat counters, chuffing once more before she counts visibly on her fingers, grinning that toothy cat teeth. After coming to ten, she shrugs, shaking the head. "I lost count how many tried to kill me, but he wasn't the first. Won't be the last I bet.""
Kaine Parker "To me you are. At least in this moment," Blood Spider admits. Just puts that little timestamp to keep it from being constant. It's just momentarily. She seems to hate the label staying. "They never are, but it's about how you handle yourself when they try. Something like that," he's not the best at morality, but the man's trying.
Kitkat Sighing at being called an angel again, Kitkat lowers the heavy, still bloodied blade again, placing the tip on the ground, balancing it against the own elbow. "See, they never are the last, so I defend myself, till I can't anymore. But till then, I do my best to win and enjoy my life."
Kaine Parker "Just try to make sure they're still breathing when you're done wth them," Blood knows he cannot make people stop being themselves. Would his spider-counterpartss be harsher on her? Yes. But he's still easing into morality. He can keep hs hands from getting bloodier than they are. Yet, he cannot stop the world from doing that. Thus, he cannot stp her.
Kitkat "Hey, I couldn't stop them from killing each other, but that one?" Kitkat gives the one with tied up arm-stumps a little prod with the foot. "Looks still mighty alive to me. A little worse for wear, but hey, he was trying to turn you into a sieve."
Kaine Parker "Semantics," Blood says again, but he will make susre the stump is webbed up. However, he'll need attention. "I'll make sure he gets attention. Where do I go to find you in the future?" he asks. Kitkat has skills and friends are in short supply here. So, he does try to make it a point to make sure they might be able to keep in contact in the future.
Kitkat "Find? I am here to have adventures, I move as I need to find them." Kitkat counters, almost laughing. "You might drop a message with the Catman for me. He is the proud can opener for Rasputin. You know, the Tiger." No she doesn't seem to notice that that might be not a good description to find Thomas Blake, unless you put your ears to the concrete to ask about a person with a tiger.

"Why you need to find me anyway?"
Kaine Parker "Find the Catman? Got it," Blood tries to narrow it down. It really doesn't with this world. "I'll try to find him. And I need allies because they're in short supply. You're good at what you do. Win-win if we ever team up," Blood explains it matter of factly. To him t's findding a port in th storm when the ship is about to go down. Someone with a giant sword would be a good ally.
