Owner Pose
Mark Grayson When the morning after Alura's visit came, Mark was well enough to travel. A few bruises are still evident but quickly healing. And after an overnight shift sitting with Bunny, it was Debbie that reminded him that he needed to attend to the apartment.

And the lovely young woman that had come in with them.

Arriving at Sunny's room, he's dressed in a set of sweats, since his uniform had gotten trashed. "Hey, Sunshine." he greets her, hoping she's awake. "I was going to the apartment to get some stuff and feed Beeper. Wanna come with?"
Sunny Harlow Sunny's own movement comes to the arrival of Mark, practically springing out of bed. Seeks her leg was healing well or she was stubborn, but there was Sunny in a shirt that clearly had been borrowed or donated by one of the workers within the facility. It would have to do till she could run home herself.

"God yes!" she called, limping her way over to him and throwing her arms...carefully around him. "Anything to get me out of here, seriously. These four walls..."
Mark Grayson When Sunny comes over to hug him, Mark immediately supports her, pulling her close. "You sure?" he asks, but he's not about to deny her. His arm is working much better and while there's still some hurt in his lungs... he's recovering quickly. Perhaps he's had more exposure to fights than Sunny has, but he's confident that Sunny will be on his level soon enough.

Instead of releasing her, after realizing her limp, he suggests, "Can you float off the ground?" comes his comment, and then he smiles wryly. "Or do you want me to carry you around like I do Bunny?" His cheeks burn a little at the idea of holding her like that.
Sunny Harlow "I can float fine...and I'll be okay. Sitting in bed isn't good for me anyway, my leg is probably just going to sleep like this." A beat, she grins, tilting her head. "Unless you really want to carry me, and I'll pretend it's not just to put your hand on my butt!"
Mark Grayson When Sunny mentions putting a hand on her butt, Mark's blush only gets worse, before he puts a hand on his chest to look mock-offended. "I will have you know I have hours of training in the art of the princess carry and can totally avoid that very cute butt of yours!" comes his response.

But he does let her decide, as he starts to turn. "Come on, flirt." he says with a smirk. "We can stop by your place when we're done getting Bunny's things."
Sunny Harlow "Truely a master of your craft," Sunny grins, but she'll hobble along with him, leaning next to her fellow viltrumite. "We should get her something decent to eat too...or at least for us. I don't think Cecil appreciates the idea of ordering takeout here."
Mark Grayson Mark's arm slips around Sunny's waist to hold her. Yes, he may realize it's just an excuse, but Sunny totally seems to need the support! "That's a good idea. Feed us and then get her a meal to go. Speaking of, have you let the diner know you're off for a few days?" he asks her curiously.

"I have a friend that will bring me my studies. We went to school together before I got my powers and I trust him, mainly because he's already sussed out my secret." A little squeeze as the pair head towards the entrance, but pause. After talking to a tech, and some arguing, a portal door is opened so that the pair can go from the facility right into the apartment that Mark and Bunny share.
Sunny Harlow "I got a 'doctor's note' for there and the university," Sunny confirms, leaning into the assistance as they make their way along the coridors. "Mostly so if I'm late to submit anything they won't ask questions...or don't make it to practice to keep my scholarship."

The portal they take? That's a little surprising, but as they step through and it closes behind them the blonde shakes her head. "Kinda creepy," she muses. "You're dating me and I still knock...the super secret spooks can just 'appear' here."
Mark Grayson "I wouldn't mind watching you practice..." Mark comments, a clearing of his throat as he gets a good mental image of what that entails. "We can help each other study for the couple of classes we share." Because stay on task, bad imagination.

With the subject change though, comes an expression change, his features darkening. "Yeah. I'm going to have some words for Cecil when I'm sure Bunny's recovered." Mark admits, and the sour tone in his voice is clear as they step through and into the apartment. At her comment though, he considers, turning to face her once they're in the apartment and the portal's closed. "Play your cards right, I'm sure we'll be happy to give you a key."

Anything else is interrupted by a happy, 'Gleeeep!' as Beeper rumbles out of hiding to smack into Mark's legs, causing them to bend before the dino looks around, as if searching for Bunny.
Sunny Harlow "It seems like he's played a little shady hiding stuff from you," Sunny nods, even as they she enter. "But he -did- help us stabilize Bunny long enough for Alura to help..."

She'd say more, but Beeper arrived and Mark bent with the impact, causing him to lean hard against Sunny and force her to stabilize them both with a hasty squeeze and blushing laugh. "I mean...I'd like that, but I do owe you both a date first too..."
Mark Grayson Close together for a moment, and Mark breaks into a laugh as he reaches up and briefly tousels Sunny's blonde locks. "You do~" he responds. A quick peck is given to her cheek before he pushes himself back up right. "You have an idea for that yet?"

While she's mulling it over, he heads towards the bedroom. "I'm going to get Bunny some clothes together and put in an order with Art for replacement uniforms. Need one as well?" Because if Cecil is footing the bill, Mark is going to milk it. He's mad.

"Mind going to the kitchen and prepare Beeper a meal? Big bundle of greens, wash them and rough chop, drop in feeding bucket!"
Sunny Harlow "I wanted...want to take Bunny somewhere, fly her somewhere special with a picnic or something. I mean, it couldn't be overseas because it would take too long and she'd get cold but...maybe somewhere like the mountains...or Hawa'ii..."

A shrug, she blushes brightly at that. "I'm making it up as I go along."

As for the uniform? Sunny nods, grinning. "Oh hell yes. If I can't make it myself, we can definitely make them pay for it."

Feed the dino? Heck yeah! Sunny nods, making towards the kitchen to start the task. "Think about what Bunny will want to eat too!"
Mark Grayson "So, something you should know about Bunny when you're making your plans." Mark says as he picks out some pajama pants, fresh underwear and a couple of his shirts for Bunny to make use of, stuffing them all in a gym bag.

"One of our first dates was that I took her surfing, because she was interested when I told her I could. Found this small tropical island and spent the day with her. Okay, might have been an excuse to see her in a swimsuit." he admits fondly.

Stay on task, Mark. "Anyway, she told me later she has a fear of being submerged in water. Didn't bring it up the whole date. Probably because she knew I'd change my mind if I knew and done something else."

That said he finishes gathering up a few toiletries for her and considers the other question. "I figured we'd swing by Batburger and grab her a kid's meal. Maybe two."
Sunny Harlow "That sounds like Bunny," Sunny muses, grinning a little at his admission and then eventually coming to scritch Beeper happily and looking over her shoulder. "But I'm kinda working with hints, since she -did- say she wanted to try flying with us so..."

A shrug, she grins. "And I can make decent baked goods, thanks to Joe's."
Mark Grayson "She loves flying. Get ready to be Bunny Uber." Mark admits with a laugh. "I carry her pretty much anywhere that isn't close by. I'm sure she'll be just as happy to be carried by you." A grin. "Especially since you are far more plush than I am." Totally blushing as he comes out of the bedroom, bag slung over his shoulder.

"I can only make some staples. And mainly heat up whatever. Kitchen's all yours!" Setting the bag down on the couch, he comes over to see if Sunny needs help with the dino.
Sunny Harlow "Boobs, the ultimate comfort feature, huh?" Sunny teases, shifting to step away from the happily feasting Beeper. "But I'll give her a lift. It's like hugs that transport us around!"

Back towards Mark, she smirks. "I mean, you did offer to transport me around, remember?"

The promise of burgers had her stretching and considering.

"Sounds perfect to me...although I was thinking," Sunny offers before looking towards the direction of the bedroom. "Is it super akward for me to ask to leave a spare bag of clothing here at some point...or I'm going to end up stealing something if all my outfits keep getting trashed."
Mark Grayson A laugh eminates from Mark. "I've never complained about them." he comments with a thoughtful glance at Sunny, and he lingers for a moment when she stretches. When Beeper bumps him, he gives the dino a scratch. "Your mama will be home soon." he promises.

Rolling his shoulders as he straightens up, he considers Sunny's question. "To be fair, Bunny's pretty much appropriated most of the shirts she wants of mine as nightshirts. But yeah, I can see the point. I don't see a problem with it. We're swinging by your place when we leave here?"
Sunny Harlow "I mean, getting some of Art's materials will help quite a bit..." she considers before shrugging her shoulders and looking towards the window. The same one where Omni-man had turned up to begin their 'wost day ever'.

"Yeah...at the very least so I can wear my own stuff, bust size doesn't quite suppliment for the fact this shirt was for someone two sizes bigger than me."
Mark Grayson "I was saying you could bring some of your stuff over." Mark points out, and draws in a breath. "It's fine. I mean... I like having you around." A shrug of his shoulders as he hefts up the gym bag and settles it over his shoulder. "I'm sure Bunny would feel safer with you here, too."
Sunny Harlow Sunny nods, coming to squeeze Mark's shoulder and lean in lightly for a little peck on his cheek. "Thank you...and you know -I- feel safer being around you too," she offers before flashing that smile so very much fitting of her namesake, bruises or not.

"Especially from the dangers of hunger! Lets go!"
