Emma Frost Emma Frost is settled over in her office in Frost Enterprises. WEll, one of her offices. She has several. This one is a few floors up and that's used for 'looking professional' when she has to do video conferencing. There's a holographic display setup behind her to make the background work for what she needs, and variable lightning. SHe's currently speaking to a subcontractor.
"Yes, Lewis, I'm aware that freight delivery was not as high as your hopes were for the holidays. I fail to see why it's my problem. I provided you with the required transportation. Whether or not it wsa used I expect to be paid. In full. Now, if you wish to go over the contract, I'm more than happy to contact my legal department. And your's to review it."
Julian Keller There is loud voices heard from beyond the door. The tinge of familiar, but it only tickles the memories. It HAS been at least 3 maybe 4 years since you've heard that voice. But you have very good assistance so likely don't worry too much about what goes on beyond those opulent doors.

That is until they are thrown open, and the voice is so easily heard. Julian. Hellion. Former student. Former advisee. Disappeared, save from the occasional tabloid reports. "No. I don't have an appointment. How the hell am I supposed to get one? I'm sure she'll see me."

He's away from the door, his eyes fading green and becoming normal. "See! Door is open!"

And just like that, Julian Keller is once again back in your life. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Emma Frost Emma goes to click off the video phone right as she says 'lawyers' as it's always the best way to get the point across. Then as she hears someone coming in, she goes to quickly and telepathically check in at the noise. A quick mental instruction is given to wave off the guard.
"Mister Keller, what brings you here to visit? Last I'd heard you were taking a walkaround." Still better than DaCosta that seems to think his parents wealth allows enablement of him living the dream of wacky mutant hijinks.
    "It has been some time."
Julian Keller "It has been a long time," Julian admits with a nod of his head as he stride boldly into the office and takes a seat. He's dressed like any number of Frost Enterprises junior executives. With a fancy bold red tie.

"I. " Julian is rarely at a loss for words. Very rarely does he not have something to say. He is brash. He is arrogant. Tongue tied he is not. But something about this moment seems to have him unable to speak. "Fuck. I had a whole speech played and everything. Straight out the window the moment I get in here." He shakes his head rubbing at his face. His pink bends opposite and his other fingers don't quite move like they should. Unatural. "Stupid hands," he growls. "I need help, Emma. I can't control my abilities. It's all a jumbled mess."
Emma Frost Emma Frost would go to rub at her temples. "I see. Can you tamp down on it before you damage my office? I'd rather not have to get contstruction going on again. Now.. I'm going to see what the issue is. Do I have your permission?" She's asking him permission to read his mind. But this being Emma if he does it would be a deep dive of her probing into his consciousness trying to get out as much information as possible.

"After this I'll likely be doing some short term shutoffs of your consciousness for the ease of analysis and seeing what the issue is."
Julian Keller "What?" Julian says blinking, the heat in his voice registering in Emma's ears. His green eyes flaring and for a brief moment there looks like there is going to be stuff to starting to explode. But he shakes his head and his eyes go back to normal. "Sorry. Almost blew up your office."

"You've been in my mind before." Julian says, "But if you feel like you need to be in there again.." Cause a whole lot has changed since he was a teen. "But don't shut me off?" Not like he has a choice (feel free to make the decision). She's the one with all the powers.

Julian's mind is a a mess as it always is. Yes, parent thing was resolved. But not really. There is still a lack of that father figure and approval he so desperately needs and wants. There is the sense of not belonging. Not having a purpose. That for several years he sought that but could never obtain it and it only made him more angry. Feeling like he was broken. It's a swirl of things. Of themes of anger and lack of control. Of his unable to put faith in anyone because they don't meet his expectations (except of Emma). And deeper. So deep in his mind is a block. Either put there by himself. Or someone else. A block on his full potential. He is a powerful TK. But there is so much more to his ability then what has been seen.
Emma Frost Emma's first probe goes into Julian's consciousness. Yes, she's been in his mind before, but that was years ago, and there's been quit ea bit since. And his powers have changed a great deal. She goes to probe into his mind, finding that sense of alienation, of anger, of lack of control.. All those sorts of normal things for a teenager, of someone that's socially isolated for whatever reason. Nothing particularly unexpected or changed. And yet he still has faith in her..

Emma goes to focus in Julian's mind, moving to first shut down the part of his consciousness that controls his telekinesis. TUrning that part of his brain temporarily 'off' so that there's no risk of backlash. "Now, sit down. I'll get us some brandy."
Julian Keller The first probe tickles. He can feel her poking and prodding in there. He does have latent psychic powers, nothing that will ever grow nearly as powerful as hers, but he can feel it. As she probes he goes through the gambit of emotions as she picks apart things. That even being as social as he is, life of the party, he feels alone. He is not an introvert hiding in an extrovert's body he is extroverted but still, the pressure placed upon him by his parents has unfortunately messed with him in ways that even years of therapy like would not resolved.

"I asked you not!" He says when suddenly his hands fall off, leaving the stumps in there place. It is remarkable that he's able to keep them afixed, so much control at that point of connection and with the lose of his ability it's gone. He fumes, his lips turning into a snarl, and if he had access to his powers, destruction would have occured. "I asked you not to." He says again, fuming as he takes a seat obidently his arms crossing over his chest as he hides those stumps of his hands. "You going to tip my cup? Give me a straw?" He asks waving a stump for a hand quickly before hiding it again.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would go to fold her hands together. "You'll get it back in time, Julian. I just wanted to make sure I could go in and poke about and not have to get half of my skyscraper leveled as I'm rather sure you can do. They'll be back in a few moments if you can relax." She goes to scan through his mind, looking past traumas, life events, pain and sufferings.. The sorts of things that everyone shares going through existence to varying levels.

"All right, that's it." She goes to let him have his powers back after a finishign scan. "Your powers have increased significantly. I'm not able to tell exactly why with a cursory scan."
Julian Keller Hmph. That's Julian pouting. He understands the reason. He almost flattened a warehouse or three. So he knows he could. He would like to think he has enough control, but let's be real he goes from 0 to 60 faster then a Tesla.

He looks down at his hands on the floor and his eyes suddenly glow green and a green fuzz envelopes the pair. Up the lift and reaching out his hands he puts them in place. He breathes a sigh of relief and his eyes blink to normal and yet his hands remain. "I know I am a hot mess. I'm tired though. 4 years I have had these hands and I can't use them properly. Do you know how annoying it is trying to get a girls bra off and you can't do it? Real mood killer you know? Or not look like a freak when your fingers do things seemingly on there own." So much energy and though goes into controlling those hands. They don't have bones or muscles. But very fine control is needed to make them work. A control he never really mastered. Large objects easy? Threading a baseball into a hole a fraction bigger? Not a chance in hell.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would glance over at Julian, "Oh, I can take care of those issues rahter well, Mister Keller. There are so many ways to shut down the portions of the brain that produce hormones and that result in shifts to physiology. But.. With your powers, the simplest thing to do is going to be more training. If ther'es risk of damage likely hvaing your powers partially repressed to a degree to make there a smaller risk of backlash. And I have some theories.."

Her taking a shot of brandy, then refilling the glass. "Oftentimes with telekinetics there are two separate schools. One can have power, or one can have finesse. You can tie your shoes or smash down a brick wall, iwth little range in between. I think some of the increasing power is likely limiting the amount of control you have."
Julian Keller "...." Julian stare. "...." Julain stare some more. "No. Dear god. Don't do that. That is the only thing that keeps me sane!" The whole idea of losing that aspect is almost as bad as losing his TK powers. "So you are saying I need to go back to the school. Huh?" Training montages begin!

"If I don't have my full powers. I'm not going to be effective in a fight. I can hold it together. Just if I get angry shit starts to explode. That is what I want to stop."

Julian sighs and shakes his head. "I do know how to smash things fairly well." He purses his lips and reaches for the offered brandy. Hey this is cool he's having a drink with his favorite teacher. "I can do both!" He says stubbornly. And he has. His hands are testament to that. "Do I really really need to go back to Xavier's?" It IS the safest place for him to go on his training binge.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would shake her head, "Ultimately the decision is your's, Julian. You are an adult and capable of making yoru own decisions. As you said, you have full functionality and you can handle any incidental collateral damage." It was called being rich and paying people off and to have repairs made.

"So while the school is likely the best environment for training, ultimately you are not required to go back there or to look for other things. THere are a great many groups and institutions that can offer similar aid, though most of the legitimate ones are more proactively benevolent." In other words, active superheroes.
Julian Keller It is nice to have money! Especially when you figured out how to make sure it's making money at a rate a little more then you spend it. Julian is crafty like that. "I'll be fine." street lamps and fine china aren't. "If it gets worse you can just shut me down." His brows furrow and he looks grumpy. "If I lose control and about to decimate things, feel free to turn me off and put me out to pasture." Julian says sadly.

"I think I will go back to Xavier's." Julian says with a shake of his head. "I thought I left that place when I graduated but..." It's a place that is known to him. It's a place that maybe he will find his people. Either way. It will be a place that will disappoint him before he accepts it. Drama.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would nod, "As you see fit. Ultimately, Julian, you are an adult and your abilities can be handled without changing your routine if you do not feel the need to. However, while you're ther eyou'll also be able to spend time with more of your ilk like MIster DaCosta." Becasue there could never be enough crazed rich guys.

"I believe he was last chasing attempting to buy out Advanced Idea Mechanics."
Julian Keller "You didn't say that when I was younger!" Julian says with a snort, not at all angry. "Stop being a dick, Julian. Stop being an angry twat, Julian. Now it's all, you're an adult Julian do what you want Julian." He shrugs his shoulders and looks across the way towards Emma before downing his brandy in one fell swoop.

"Delicious stuff." He slowly rises. "Well, it was good seeing you again, Emma. Don't burn yourself out with work."
Emma Frost Emma Frost would smile over at Julian, "Don't burn yourself either. And good luck if you do return to school, Julian. It can't be any worse than the outside world." Julian is given a curt wave of dismissal, and then Emma goes to check her calendar. For her next appointment and the next person she'll have to rake over coals..
