Wally West There's been a series of murders in Keystone City. Though Wally West has been working with the police trying to figure out who it is, Wally has a strong suspicion it's Mirror Master trying to draw him out. But unfortunately, Wally isn't always in Keystone. That's Barry's territory. So he's decided to take his evidence to Metropolis where he can analyze it without too much interference. Namely, Titan's Tower.

He's wearing his red and silver suit, but his cowl is down, letting his red hair be a little bit wild. He wears a white lab coat around his body and blue gloves as he seems to be tinkering with a microscope, most notably, two slides with two different sets of fingerprints. He has force and chemical-resistant goggles sitting on the top of his head.

"Hmm..."

It's quiet for a moment. Too quiet. In fact, he's not even listening to music! The speedster is focused.
Kian     When Kian wanders into the lab, he hasn't really anything on his mind beyond... well... not much of anything.  Maybe looking for a way to get a better handle on the limits of his /rhythar/.
Or more likely to play with lab equipment until he actually has to do something.
The presence of a teammate puts a kink in that plan.  "Oh!  /Kie/, Wally.  Are you working on a project?  I'm..."  He thinks for a moment.  "...not working on anything, really, so if I can help, let me know."
He shrugs.  Feathers rustle.  And he pulls up a stool to sit on.
Golden Eagle Golden Eagle arrived a few minutes ago, and found the big TV room empty. Having recently learned how to use the Tower's networked systems to find who's out and about in the place, she learned that Wally's in the lab... so she heads that way, peeking her head in past the door as she holds it open for herself.

"Is it okay if I come in? I've never been here, in the lab, before today...", she queries from where she is, especially being as it seems someone's busy doing stuff here.
Wally West "Hmmmm....that doesn't....I need to check the blood, make sure it actually matches the victim."

Though as Wally is getting up to perform a full metabolic panel and biochemical analysis. He gets the blood samples and starts to spin it to make sure everything is as is, though as he's doing that, he turns his attention to Kian. "Oh. Hey."

He tilts his head. "How good are you at tissue analysis?" Wally questions Kian for a moment, though he looks at Golden Eagle for a moment.

"...I did not realize it was going to be a party. Remember the PPE gear! No damage today. I think Cait would throw a fit and honestly, if she knew I was in here, she'd still throw a fit." He chuckles ever so softly. "But sure, come on in. Let me know if you have questions."
Kian     "That's biology, that's outside of my research area.  I'm a theoretical physicist."  Kian looks at his hand for a moment.  "Well, okay, and and a physics elemental too.  But biology is outside my field of knowledge."
He turns, and grins at Golden Eagle.  "I don't think the lab is off-limits to any Titan.  The only places I won't go are Raven's room, and the submarine docking bay."
Wally West "Fair enough. Though when you figure out how Mirror Master does his whole reflection thing? Hit me up." Wally smirks a little bit. "But you're right, no one is banned from the lab. Least, asl ong as they follow lab safety. Yeah, I wouldn't touch anything of Raven's with a ten-foot pole. I'm not scared of her, I just don't like being yelled at."

Wally shrugs.

"Anyway, I'm trying to compare blood found at a crime scene with the blood samples historical of the guy I know did it. I just want proof." Wally shrugs a little bit. "Anyway, if you'd like to help I can show you how to do it? I'm not really a biologist either, but I'm a budding forensic scientist."
Kian     "Mirrors are pretty well explained both in pre- and post-quantum physics," Kian muses, in the tone of voice that says 'the theoretician is about to vanish into advanced theory', but he pulls himself back from the brink.  "Well, I can look at the files on Mirror Master and see if anything I can do might affect him."
He leans forward a little.  "Matching blood samples should be pretty straightforward.  I'm not much of a chemist either, but I know the tests have been well known for a long time.  I mean, that's just chemistry, really.  Unfortunately, I don't have a full Akiar research lab at hand, much less the staff for it...."
Wally West "Riiiight. Let's assume I don't know anything about pre and post quantum physics." Wally chuckles a little bit, before he tilts his head for a second. "Hey, that's a good idea. Check the Keystone Police Department records for Mirror Master cases. I want to know if anything similar has happened: victim dropped from a tall height, as if pushed. Though there's no blunt force trauma that suggests thtey were struck or knocked unconscious. It's like they were stolen, thrown, and didn't have time to resist."

He smiles. "See what you can find? And hey, if you have time, feel free to centrifuge the blood and run it through ICP." He shrugs. "But at least it's fun Chemistry."
Kian     Kian muses, "Well, if they were pushed through a rift in spacetime, like one of Vorpal's Rabbit Holes, they could've gone through with no warning at all and plummeted to... uh, the fate one gets after falling from a great height when they can't fly."  He finishes that last on a slightly greenish note.  Absent a major problem like a massive cardiac or stroke, his people just *don't* fall from great heights.  "Anyway, I would be surprised if there's no one else who can make holes in space like Vorpal does.  Having some sort of power seems to be the norm for this planet."
He blinks for a moment, rummaging his memory for what ICP means -- first in English, and then in his own language.  "Oh!  Of course!  I... uh... I almost said let me see your samples, but I don't like the sight of blood.  So let me see your samples of red residue. Heh."  He grins sheepishly.
Wally West "Vorpal's Rabbit Holes feel more like magic. This is more like technology. I don't get the same vibe as how Vorpal does it, though I /do/ get the sense that there's some kind of dimensional travel going on. At times, Mirror Master could /be/ a literal mirror and traverse between mirrors. Other times? He's just really sneaky."

Wally sighs ever so slightly. "Ugh. But you're probably right, if he was tearing a hole in space time or using some kind of tool to do so, that would explain the strangeness of the deaths." Wally lifts his shoulders in a shrug. "I miss the days when all I was called tod eal with is the occasional talking monkey and jewelry thieves. Like...really." He shakes his head. "But sure. Here-" He hands Kian some vials. "Here's your red paint chips." He smiles at Kian. "Have a blast." He winks.
Kian     Kian treats the samples as if they were in fact red paint chips -- just something to be analyzed.  Thinking otherwise about them would break his concentration.  Divvying them up between different solvents is step one, and inserting them into the centrifuge is step two, and step three is patience while centrifugal force does its job.
"I'm not convinced that magic just isn't science we don't have a good explanation for yet."  Kian sits up strraighter.  "But I don't know.  I know in outline how my people's star drive works, but I can't travel on one of our ships -- that's how I ended up on Earth.  But I can pass through one of Vorpal's Rabbit Holes without ill effect.  I've done it several times."
