Alison Blaire It's not like Alison has been /avoiding/ human contact. No way, she's totally like... Negasonic dropped by her studio and snarked at her and stuff and that was just yest- last we- ...okay, Alison hasn't been /intentionally/ avoiding social contact, but she's been in the zone. The creative zone. And when Sentinels aren't attacking and interrupting being in the zone, she might lose herself a little.

Fortunately, with all of the various amenities of the mansion at her disposal, Alison's not quite reached the point of 'absolute trainwreck'. In fact, while she's perched in a swivel chair, leaning back and balancing it terribly unsafely, her hair is clinging damply to forehead and neck, understated outfit of a plain white t-shirt and black yoga leggings, and sparkly pink socks, she looks downright collected! Large headphones however /are/ keeping her oblivious to the world, little sparks of light popping out from her to sparkle through the air in rhythm to the music pumping through those headphones. Presumably she's at work on her next hit single! Or she's avoiding any boring responsibility by 'being at work on her next hit single'. It's really very hard to tell.
Singularity There are billions upon billions distinct quantum signatures that exist on just Earth alone. And Singularity can curate them all, if she wanted. She could reach to anyone, anytime, anyplace. But that's /rude/ as she was told once. So she doesn't just pop in on anyone.

There are exceptions to this rule. Right now, that number stands at six.

And one of those exceptions? Singularity has noticed and watched. Alison hasn't moved /in weeks/. And the young universe is growing concerned. She fidgeted with the idea of blipping in on her. She's distracted herself with ice cream, with travelling, with adventuring and meeting new people. But... still nothing. In the classic sense, Sing is poking at the unique signature of Alison Blaire and saying 'Do Something'.

But that has not happened. So, what's a universe to do. Out of an abudence of concern, worry, and just... missing her friend, she does something rash. A close of her eyes and Sing wraps around that signature.

Alison is creating light in the studio. It's her thing, what she does. And she's really good at it! But suddenly, one of those sparks that she supposedly created shifts it's form. A periwinkle ball of light forms, expands and grows, spiralling out to make a portal. Alison has seen this phenomenon before.

It's just been a while.

And from within that portal, out floats the little universe made of stars, a bright smile on her face, hair flowing behind her as she calls out, "Friend Alison, hello!"

She totally doesn't realize that Alison is in headphones and can't hear her.
Alison Blaire It's not like Alison's not used to people popping into her studio, really if she wants some privacy, the door /does/ have a lock. And if that's not obvious enough, she's not above wedging a door under the knob and barricading herself in, but that's pretty strictly an April Fool's Day measure.

And really, it's not going to stop a friendly universe from popping in to visit her! And so, one moment Alison's eyes are closed, her shoulders wiggling a little, as she /grooves/, and just basks in the rhythm of the music. And then she's opening her eyes.

And it's a credit to her athleticism and balance that she only sways wildly on her chair and manages to brace herself with long legs and a startled squeal, "AH!! WHOADAMNJEEZE!!!" She coughs and sputters, eyebrows rising, lips curving in a sheepish little grin, "Heyyyyy, sparkles! Wh...what was that?" Eyebrows would rise higher if they could, but she at least scrambles to pull her headphones off so she can actually hear Singularity, instead of trying to lipread.
Singularity If Singularity wanted, she could be the greatest cat burgular ever. Felicia Hardy? Selina Kyle? PFFT. Singularity could put them both to shame. Just teleport in, take the prize and teleport right back out! But she uses her powers for good! For the most part.

As the earphones come off and unplug, the music fills the studio and the young universe gets on her proverbial tiptoes. She can feel the power of it reverbing through her and it stirs all the stars and galaxies that are contained within. She moves, a small motion of a dance, as if trying to sway with the music, to learn it and understand it.

It's a weak copy of the groove that Alison was having, but she's never actually been dancing before. "Is this you??" she asks, eyes wide in wonderment. "You... I mean, the you I know, I never got to hear in concert. We were always..." her hands in front of her, her fingers pressed together, "...we were always so busy."

"And then you were Worthy and you became one of the Thors... and that wasn't neccessarily a good thing where I was. But..." she moves her hips, head bobbing to the side. "This is nice!"
Alison Blaire Alison reaches out towards the mixing board to adjust the volume, but when Sing's reaction isn't flailing around at the volume, and actually seems downright appreciative, she slows her reaction from 'Frantic muting' to 'Adjust to allow conversation' levels, as her lips quirk in a little grin and she kicks back in her seat again.

She flashes a crooked little grin and shrugs, "A bit of it's me, I mean I arranged and mixed it all, but the drums are just synths, the guitar is me..." She laughs out softly and shakes her head emphatically, "Oh! Well, you'll have to come to my next concert! I'll have to make sure I get you a VIP pass, and you can like, bring a plus one or... two, three, whoever you want! I mean, if anyone deserves a chance to unwind and just enjoy going to a concert..."

She clicks her tongue and points a finger, "It is /you/. I mean, you carry the weight of universes, you deserve to benefit from relaxation equal to that burden!"

Alison doesn't quite spring from her chair, but she rises up smoothly and gives it a nudge to wheel it off into the corner and then moves in towards Sing, motions matching, rhythm synching... oh yes, she is going to DANCE with her friend! She grins lopsidedly and chimes out, "Well, luckily we've only got the one Thor around here! ...I think. I mean, honestly, I haven't had to deal with any really REALLY crazy stuff in months!"
Singularity Considering the sounds that Singularity could probably create... and that's when she realizes it. As Alison is adjusting to the volume of things, the young universe looks thoughtful as she is doing a very poor job of trying to dance. But where she's unable to find her rhythm yet, she is eager to learn.

Invited to the next concert, she ooohs. "I can invite Kara! She has been very busy. I hope she would have time to come with me." she admits quietly, a mote of worry there, but it's quickly washed away as the music changes and the universe adapts to it.

Then there's a giggle. "I can be any weight I want!" she points out about being the weight of the universe. From as light as a feather to just... crush all of Earth. But that is not something she wants to do in the least.

Alison's smooth rise is noticed and when she closes the distance and starts to show off her own moves, Sing watches. And she starts to adapt. Her body moves in time with Alison's, sliding alongside the other woman as the two of them make the studio floor a personal dance floor.

And now, as close as she is? Alison can hear the small sounds that the universe makes. The sparkling of her stars, the small woosh of the solar winds, the soft drone that is the core of her. It's a melody of all it's own. And with Alison's music as a base, she's starting to form into it, the young woman's shape maturing and adapting to it as she is all smiles and excitement.

Her hands rest for a moment of Alison's shoulders, meeting her eyes, before she giggles and ducks her head down, focusing on the movement of her torso and hips in time with her legs.
Alison Blaire Alison grins downright impishly and chimes out, "Oh! I mean, I bet if she can't make it to the /concert/ concert, well... I could always do something informal and private! I mean, you can just pop back in here with her and I can probably throw together a little jam session... I mean, it's not /the same/ as the fireworks and the outfits and the... y'know, /razzle dazzle/!"

She snickers and shakes her head with a soft little sigh, "I meant more of a metaphorical weight! Though if you ever want to lift heavy weights I'm sure I can sneak you down to the subbasement gym, the equipment down there is like... crazy alien stuff!"

And as Alison closes in and hears each and every little sound, every chime and sparkle and woosh, every low hum, she lets her powers translate the symphony that is Singularity into a Dazzling (heh, get it?) light show.

And when those hands rest on her shoulders, she reaches out to mirror that touch and grins lopsidedly, eyes darting down, "There you go! Just... let your feelings move you. Don't worry about how it looks, just... have fun!"
Singularity "I'll talk to her! We'll come up with something!" Singularity promises, as she sways and moves with the music. Her steps are foreign, but they are her own. A combonation of what she is learning on the fly from Alison and at the same time, adapting, creating her own style. She has no heart to speak of, but the exhiliration is making her excited as she giggles.

"I wouldn't want to break anything." she admits. "If your friends are oh-kay with it. Know this is private area." But she showed up anyway. Because Alison is one of those people that means that much to her. And that's when she looks up into Alison's eyes again, the soft little nebulas in her cheeks glowing red before she sees the flash of light. And another!

And she realizes quickly that Alison is Dazzling her with her powers and the little universe almost jumps with excitement as she presses close to Alison to take in the light show, even as her own stars and galaxies swirl and dance within that whole universe that is within her. Her eyes and smile convey her excitement. Then, in the midsts of it all, the smile turns a little sad. But joyful still. "I. Have. Missed. You." She admits quietly.

And just like that, she presses into Alison in a hard embrace, holding onto the disco mutant as much as she dares herself to, just to hold, feel, smell, and she lets out a soft noise.
Alison Blaire Alison's head shakes and she laughs, a truly happy and joyous sound, "Oh no! My studio's like... /my/ private space! This is just the basement basement, there's a fancy retina scanner or something for the /real/ secret basement. And I doubt you'd break anything! I mean, okay, I don't doubt you could break stuff if you put your mind and other efforts to it! But accidentally? Nahhhh, someone /else/ would've broken the stuff by now if it was accident-breakable!"

And all the while, Alison continues to move and shimmer and sparkle, the occasional little slip of humming escaping just a fraction of a beat ahead of the song... she /has/ been working on it a lot! She smiles and darts in to /peck/ a kiss on Sing's cheek and murmurs out, "Well, no need to keep missing me! We'll hang out, and it'll get me out of this studio more often /without/ it being some... stupid anti-mutant group causing trouble."
Singularity "Oh! I thought you had locked yourself away. I could see your studio someday." Singularity says hopefully as she loosens her grip to go back to the happy little dance the two of them are making up on the fly, the combinging of the universe's own song with the beats Alison has mixed and made. "I will try not to break anything!" she promises solemnly.

She's catching bits and pieces of song, but not realizing what they are. When Alison darts in and kisses her own the cheek though, the little universe stiffens for a moment, and she seems to glow that much brighter, her thrumming just a little bit faster. "Good. I would like that. See the others. See you. Friends. New and old." she agrees happily, before the talk of the anti-mutant groups coming up, and she turns more somber.

"I. Will. Protect." she promises, her hand reaching to rest over Alison's heart. "You are precious to me. A dear friend. I will not let others hurt you. Or those I care for most." A quick lean in and she returns Alison's light kiss and then rocks back on her heels as she fidgets slightly. As if unsure what to do with herself, but will not let Alison get hurt again, in this universe or any other.
Alison Blaire Alison Blaire smiles warmly and dips in to graze a warm kiss across Singularity's cheek, sighing out and murmuring softly, "That's... thanks, hon. And I'll make sure no one hurts you or anything too. You really /are/ too precious in every way." She sighs out softly and snaps her fingers, pointing a single finger, "And hey, sometimes the school does these big trips to like, ski hills or something. I'll bring you along on the next one! You can meet Ellie!"

There's a long, pondering pause and her head tilts in thought, "I mean, it might take some getting used to, she's... /intense/. But she's a lot nicer than she acts like she is. I'm pretty sure a lot of her skull emojis are just reflexive..."

She shakes her head and laughs softly, "But... thank you. For stopping by and checking in on me. I just got into a vibe and kind of... lost track of time! I guess having a mini fridge that's stocked up on food and beverages can kind of make me forget that I should, you know, live my life!"
Singularity "Ellie?" Alison knows Singularity loves meeting new people and now she has an interest. "I would like that." the young universe offers as she nods her head eagerly. New experiences, new things, Alison is all up in her wheelhouse and she just can't help but to be excited by the idea.

"It's oh-kay. I am told that I am intense as well." she points out. She doesn't get it, but she really is just someone that is enjoying life for everything it can offer to her. And she has a long time to enjoy it.

"You're welcome!" comes her cheerful retort. "You had not moved in a while. I was worried." she admits quietly as she folds her hands behind her back, and blows out a non-existant breath. "I should let you get back to your work. But you promised to come out sometime. And I will be happy to see you. And Ellie. When you are ready. Live your life." she agrees. "It's the best we can all do."

Even an immortal universe.

"I will let you get back to your work." With that, she starts to create the small blue orb that is her teleportation. As it expands and grows, it pops open and shows a destination of a warm country home that she likes to visit often. And she steps through and...
